A Lying Witch and a Runaway Ninja
Three months had passed since Luz stole the Scroll of Sealing, three months since she severed her connection to her village. She had been on the run for three months without knowing where she was going. She was no longer wearing her Jonin attire, but a short sleeved purple, white hoodie with cat ears, gray shorts, black leggings and white sneakers.
She had just arrived in a town called Gravesfield and was resting.
Luz was sitting on a park bench, with a forest behind her, reading her Azura Book 1. She didn't know what to do and this book always calmed her down in difficult situations.
After a while she let out a sigh and placed the book next to her on the park bench.
She pulled a hand over her face as she whispered to herself, "What am I going to do? I can't always be on the run. At some point I'll run out of resources."
Her gaze wandered to the large scroll next to her. She took it on her lap and placed her forehead on it.
"All this for a stupid oversized scroll that wasn't even properly guarded." she mutters to herself. She slowly shakes her head "Never mind, enough rest. Time to move on."
With a groan she stood up and fastened the scroll on her back. As she was about to reach for her book she saw that it had disappeared.
Luz looked quickly everywhere when her eyes stopped on a small owl carrying a huge duffle bag. The sight itself was strange enough, but what really caught her eye was her book sticking out of the bag.
"You little book thief!" Luz shouted as the owl started to hop away.
Luz ran after it. To her surprise, the owl was very fast, even though it was dragging a huge duffle bag behind it.
Luz stopped abruptly when she saw a run-down hut in front of her. But when she saw the owl hop inside she ran after it.
"Stop adorably hoping away!" Luz demanded as she followed the owl into the hut. Suddenly she was enveloped in a white light and she almost immediately felt an overwhelming force in the air, it wasn't chakra but it was just as powerful if not more.
Luz felt disoriented for a few seconds. When the room stopped spinning she looked around and saw that she had somehow ended up in a tent. Inside is a bunch of strange things that she doesn't even know where to begin to describe.
She picks up a strange doll "And I thought I had already seen the strangest things before, but this..."
That's when she hears a female voice from outside the tent exclaiming "Finally! You're back!"
Luz sneaks over to take a look outside the tent and sees a woman with paper white skin, a head full of bushy gray hair like a wild mane and a red dress. Also a green neckerchief covering her ears.
The owl jumps on a staff, the lady twirled him around whereupon the owl turned into a wooden figure. Luz was wondering if that was some kind of jutsu, like the art jutsu.
"Now let's see what we've got here." said the woman. She started pulling out a smartphone, a diamond ring and a gold goblet, saying "garbage" to each object until she pulled out a pair of joke glasses and tried them on "But this will make me rich."
Luz was pretty sure the joke glasses wouldn't make the woman a fortune, but she couldn't think about it when the woman pulled out the Azura book and said "And this... Oh, this will make good kindling." and held it over a candle.
Luz panicked at the sight. She jumped out "Excuse me, sorry, it's mine, thank you!“ grabbed the book and ran back to the door. When she got there, the door closed and collapsed.
When Luz turned around, the woman said "You're not going anywhere."
“We’ll see about that!” Luz retorted.
Luz quickly lifted up the tent curtain nearest to her and went under it and outside and started running again then Luz quickly skidded to a halt when she was at a cliff edge overlooking a preindustrial looking demonic town.
There seemed to be an incredibly diverse mix of various sentient species on this town both humanoid and bipedal. Luz then saw what looked like a stereotypical winged fairy flying towards her Luz decided to see if it could talk.
“Hey little buddy, could you tell me where I am?” Luz asked.
“Give me your skin!!!” The fairy demanded as it opened it’s mouth to reveal a big set of teeth.
Luz then without hesitation quickly slapped the fairy sending it to the ground instantly. Luz then looked out at the town below again.
“Where am I? Did I die? Did the Shinobis get me? Am I in the bad place?” Luz said frantically to herself.
Luz then felt a hand rest on her left shoulder and she looked up to see the mystery lady looking down at her as she spoke “You wish.” The lady said.
Before Luz knew what happened the mystery lady had picked her up like she weighed nothing and plopped her on stool in front of her market stand. Luz read the sign it saying Human collectibles and there being a bunch of random human stuff out on the table both labeled via price and the majority mislabeled in terms of what the actual objects in question were.
The mystery lady then proceeded to pitch the selling of several inaccurately named objects the last being a mini camping TV being pitched as a black shadow box that reflects only sadness.
Luz smirked at the mystery lady and spoke “That's not all it can do. Here, let me see it.” Luz said.
Luz checked the battery compartment, finding it empty, quickly grabbed the right size batteries from a bowl labeled human candy and started the TV back up again. The jazzercise video and its accompanying music quality gathered prospective buyers who quickly started making offers.
“Well would you look at that, way to go kid, what's your name by the way?” The lady asked.
“Luz....Luz Noceda, and who exactly are you, I gather you’re not human so mind explaining?” Luz answered with a question of her own. She was sure that this lady was not human, if she sells human stuffs in a place where everyone looks so different from humans.
The lady smirked, presented her ears and stood on the counter of her stand “Why I'm Eda the Owl Lady! The most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles! Feared, respected-.” Eda was saying but was cut off.
“Busted!” Someone who Luz thought must be a type of local law enforcement, smashed the TV as he announced his presence and thusly scared away the prospective buyers.
“Eda the Owl Lady, you are wanted for several charges of magical misuse and demonic misdemeanors.” The guard said.
“Would you guys quit following me around? I haven't done squat.” Eda calmly said with her arms crossed and she rolled her eyes.
The guard then grabbed Luz by her hoodie collar. “And you're coming too.” The guard said.
“Oh and for what exactly?” Luz asked. She was pretty sure it was not because she stole the scroll of sealing.
“For fraternizing with a criminal!” The guard answered.
Luz glared at the guard, then, before he could react, Luz quickly flipped him on the ground, twisting his wrist in the process.
Luz was sure if the local guards are like this guy, then she don’t want deal with them.
Luz then turned her head to look at Eda “We gonna bounce or what?” Luz asked.
Eda smirked “Oh I like you kid, come on!“ Eda said before she used her magic to telekinetically pack everything in her stand including the portal door away bag it and keep it floating around her as she and Luz got on her staff and flew off.
Luz was confused of the way they were flying, but she would hold her questions for later. If it wasn’t for the hard training and her past ninja missions she would probably freak out right now.
As Luz and Eda were flying through the air Eda took notice of how particularly chill Luz was being and decided to take the initiative and asked Luz a question.
“So kid, any questions?” Eda asked.
“Yeah, for starters where am I? Cause this surely ain't Gravesfield.” Luz asked.
Eda chuckled. She responds, “This is the Boiling Isles. Every myth and legend you humans have comes from a little bit of our world leaking into yours.” A griffon flies and spits out spiders.
"I know it!“ shouted Luz triumphantly. Sie created in the past in the school out of a squirrel body and pigeon head a model of a griffon spitting out spiders, but the teachers were not amused by her art project, neither were her classmates.
“Yep Griffons, Vampires, Giraffes.” Eda counted.
“Giraffes?” Luz asked as they land.
“Oh yeah. We banished those guys, a bunch of freaks.” She says as she gets off. Luz noticed that Eda‘s hand is still on the staff. Eda grabbed her hand and put it back “That happens sometimes.”
Luz ignores the hand and asked more of curiosity than interest “Can you send me back?”
“Only if you help me with something! Now come along human!” She begins walking away while her stuff floats behind her. Luz began to follow her to a house that almost took her breath.
The house has a curved, sloping roof that gives it a whimsical and storybook-like appearance. A large, round stained-glass window with warm colors sits at the center, resembling an eye. The structure combines smooth white walls with dark stone elements, creating a blend of charm and mystery. A tall, crumbling tower with patches of moss and missing pieces rises in the background, adding an ancient feel.
Luz don’t knows why, but this sight of the house reminds her of her old house, before she burned it down.
As they walk up to the door Luz saw a weird door knocker that has the face of an owl “Aren’t you worried about the guards finding us?”
“Don’t worry, I have a state of the art defense system.” She responds.
“Hoot Hoot, password please!” The thing responds.
Eda pokes it in the eyes and says, “We got no time for this Hooty. Let us in.”
“Al right, all right. Geez, you never want to have any fun. Ow, hoot!” Hooty opens its mouth wide enough to take up the entire door. When the walk in Hooty closes his mouth.
Inside was a coffee table, two couches, and behind the red couch, a ton of stuff including her a wanted poster of Eda with a small demon.
“Welcome to, The Owl House!” Eda says. “Where I hide away from the pressures of modern life. Also the cops. Mm, also ex-boyfriends.” She say the last part with a snort of amusement.
“Do you live here all by yourself?” Luz ask.
Before Eda can respond, large stomps that shake the room begin.
“Actually I have a roommate.” Eda says.
The stomping gets closer and someone begins saying in a deep voice. “Who dares intrude upon I, The king of Demons!” The last part of his sentence gets significantly higher pitched.
It was a small demon that reminds Luz of one of her favorite pokemons, a cubone. He is wrapped in a ducky towel and holding a rubber duck.
By his appearance Luz forgot all her ninja training and run to him and picks him up "¡Ay, que lindo!“ She hugged him and says “You’re so cute! Who’s a widdle guy? Is it you? Is it you?”
He immediately yells, “I don’t know who you little guy is! Eda, who is this monster!?” Eda immediately pulled Luz away.
“Oh, this is Luz the human. She’s here to help us with our little situation.” Eda says. The little creature cheers.
“Hold on. I don’t like the sound of this situation.” Luz says.
Eda immediately backs away and says, “Hold on, let me explain.” She says as she casts a spell to illustrate what she’s saying. “King was once a mighty kind of demons. Until his crown of power was stolen turning him into this.“
Luz cuddles King "You mean this little bundle of joy?“
"The evil Warden Wrath keeps it behind a barrier that only a human can get through. A human like you.” Eda finished “What do you say human? Will you help us out?”
“Okay, I’ll help.” Luz says as she puts King and all her stuffs down “So where will we be going?”
Eda immediately begins carrying Luz on her shoulder. “Someplace super fun!”

Later.
Luz, Eda and King were on their way to the Conformatorium with Luz asking important questions about the place, like how much security there was, what were their exit strategies and so forth. Eda was once again surprised by how much Luz wanted to know in order to be prepared, this was clearly not Luz's first time breaking into a secured place which really got Eda wondering what this girl’s backstory was. Before they knew it they had landed. Luz quickly zeroed in on one of Eda's many wanted posters showing the insane amount of money for her being turned in.
“Geez, I've never heard of a bounty that high before, how in the world would that be able to be paid?!” Luz asked.
Eda snorted.
“It probably wouldn't, the Emperor’s Coven would definitely not pay it, even if someone was lucky enough to catch me. The person who brings me in would probably get a monthly fee or just be jailed and or killed so they don't have to pay.” Eda answered.
“Damn, the Emperor’s Coven is one incredibly messed up Government.” Luz said.
“Oh kid you don't know the half of it.” Eda said.
Luz puts the wanted poster into her pouch and puts on her cat hoodie and a purple ninja mask.
“You look ridiculous.“ says King.
Luz shrugged “It’s better to hide the fact that I‘m a human.“
“Oh, you’ll fit right in.” Says Eda, then she made a magical energy platform.
“Now hop on and jump for the window at the top, I'll go distract the guards away from you guys.” Eda said.
“On it, come on King.” Luz said as she stepped onto the platform, whereupon they started to ascend.
"Meet you guys at the top of the tower!” Eda yelled as she flew away.
As they were high enough Luz and King hopped off the platform, to a window and into a hallway that was littered with torn wanted posters.
“Ha, you’re almost like an actual cat.” King said when Luz landed on her feet.
When the two walked out of the hallway, they were met with a new room sight. The Conformatorium was filled with cells that held humanoid people. This reminded Luz of the time she was assigned for a mission in the Hōzuki Castle or how she calls it the blood prison.
“Hey cat lady, how'd you get outta your cell?” a voice behind Luz says.
Luz and King turned to address the prisoner, it was a female witch probably in her late teens with a complexion slightly darker than Luz's, black hair tied into a ponytail, long vampire looking fangs and wearing a purple dress with a black choker.
“Oh, me and King here snuck in to get something of his back from the Warden's contraband room, we’re not criminals.” Luz answered, without revealing her face or race.
"Not yet, you’re not." King said from her shoulder.
“Well neither are we! Oh, my names Katya by the way.” Katya introduced herself.
“Luz.” Luz replied.
Katya then went into why she and two other prisoners were there, she was in for writing fanfiction about food falling in love. Another was in for eating his own eyeballs, despite the fact that they can grow back. And lastly another who was in for being a conspiracy theorist.
“Wait, none of those are actually crimes, I don’t know why but the warden is abusing his power to oppress people. Damn that's messed up, okay so once we get what we’re here for I'll be back to break you guys out.” Luz said.
Katya smiled “Thanks Luz, but if you can't, it's fine, just enjoy your freedom.”
Luz gave her and the others a sad look before going off to the contraband room to meet with Eda.
When Luz and King meet up with Eda, they were only a few steps away from the door to the contraband room. Eda took note of Luz’s determined look.
“What’s eating at ya kid?” Eda asked.
“Why are there so many people in here that didn't do anything wrong?” Luz asked.
“Because the actual offenders are actually shipped off to the dungeons in the bowls of the Emperor’s castle after processing, and from what I can tell, no one in the Boiling Isles gives enough of a care to actually do something about the Emperor’s Coven arresting people.” Eda answered.
“Well then after we grab King's crown, I'm busting them out.” Luz proclaimed.
Eda smiled at Luz's determination to help them out.
“I'm right behind you kid, now let's hurry along before King's hurts himself.” Eda said.
The two entered the room and quickly moved to stop King from headbutting the barrier again.
“Whoah there little buddy, remember that's why we have a human here.“ Eda said as she picked King up. Eda then set King down.
“Now to go get your crown.” Luz said.
Now where she was standing in front of the barrier she was wondering if her chakra counts as magic in this realm. She thought that there was only one way to find out and walked right through the barrier with only little resistance and quickly started looking for a crown then found non other than a Burger Queen paper crown.
At first Luz was taken aback, but then she smirked and grabbed it and went back out through the barrier.
“Here you go King.” Luz said as she passed the crown to King.
King eagerly took the crown.
“Yes! I can feel my power returning!” King exclaimed in joy.
King then looked over at an old stuffed rabbit and pointed toward it.
“You there, nightmare critter, your name is Francois and you shall join my army of darkness!” King said as he picked up the old stuffed rabbit and started walking off with it in a stiff military walk as he continued to play pretend.
Luz looked over at Eda who noticed Luz's soft smile at King's antics.
“You're not all to surprised by his crown, are you kid?” Eda asked.
Luz shrugged.
“Eh, I figured that most of your story was made up and was more so an act you put on to indulge King, I get it, I've played along with kids that played pretend when babysitting them.” Luz said, while thinking back to old missions where she looked up after small kids.
“Well thanks for understanding Luz, that crown of his is really important to him, so it's important to me. Now let's get out of here and free those prisoners before the Warden catches us and loses his head.” Eda said.
Just then a deep booming voice rang out. “Too late!” Warden Wrath declared.
Immediately before Eda or Luz could react Wrath used his morphed axe hand and sliced off Eda's head it instantly landing into Luz's hands.
“Eda!!!” Luz exclaimed.
“Ow! Man, I hate when that happens.” Eda said.
“Oh thank god you're still alive, so do all witches have this ability?” Luz asked.
“No, as far as I know just me, I like to refer it as anatomical liberation.” Eda answered.
“Neat.” Luz said.
“I've finally caught you Eda the Owl Lady, I knew if I took your pet's toy it would sooner or later bait you back here to get it.” Wrath said as he picked up and destroyed King's crown.
“What do you want with me? I've never broken any of your stupid rules… in front of you!” Eda said.
“I want you…” he pulled out a bouquet of flowers, “to go out with me.”
“What?” Eda and Luz said together.
“Go, boss!” One of the guards, who came with Wrath, supported.
The warden shot the guard a thumbs up as he went on “You've always eluded our capture. You're always been the one who got away. I found that alluring.”
Luz felt like she was going to barf “I hate everything you're saying right now.”
“You stay out of this!” Wrath was about to attack Luz, but she easily jumps back next to King.
Luz held Eda's head in her hands and looked at King "Here, screw the head back onto her body," she said, pushing Eda's head into his small arms.
"Uh, are you sure you can do this alone?" King asked worriedly as he tried to grab Eda's body.
Luz grinned confidently "Don't worry, I've been in worse situations and fought against more dangerous opponents."
Warden Wrath laughed derisively "You? A little girl wants to stand up to me? Ridiculous."
Before Wrath could even blink, Luz shot forward. With a confident grin, she shouted "Do not underestimate me. Because I'm Luz, a former Jonin!" Her hands moved in fluid, precise patterns as she gathered chakra in her palm. Then she pushed the glowing ball forward "Now eat this, sucka!"
"Rasengan!"
A swirling, glowing blue ball of energy materialized in her hand, and with a well-aimed thrust, Luz rammed it straight into Wrath's chest. The force hurled him through the wall of the Conformatorium with full force, and two of his guards who were standing behind him were also taken with it.
The other guards stood frozen, staring with their mouths open, but this could not be seen because of their masks.
"What... what was that?!" stammered one of them.
Luz took advantage of the opportunity. She quickly formed the hand signs for another technique.
"Shadow Clones!"
Suddenly 20 identical Luz clones appeared around her.
One of the guards laughed mockingly, "Pff, illusions magic! Do you really think you can fool us with a trick like that?"
His laughter died abruptly when one of the clones hurled him with a precise kick to the stomach. The other clones also attacked the guards, fighting with frightening efficiency and driving them away.
As the guards fled, the clones took the opportunity to open the prison cells in the building. One by one, the prisoners jumped out, their faces full of relief and surprise.
But Luz had another plan up her sleeve. While the clones fought and freed the prisoners, she discreetly placed several seals at specific points in the building.
In the meantime, King had finally managed to put Eda's head back on her body.
Eda stretched briefly and turned her head completely around to make sure it was in the right place. Then she grinned, "Damn it kid, I didn't know humans could use magic."
Luz sighed, "It’s no magic. I'll explain later. First, let us get out of here."
Eda, King, and Luz mounted Eda's staff and shot out of the tower. Below them, guards ran after the former prisoners to put them back in their cells.
When they were floating at a safe height above the tower, Luz activated the explosion seals with a final hand signal.
With a deafening bang, the explosion seals detonated simultaneously. A powerful shock wave raced through the Conformatorium, and in a few seconds the entire tower collapsed.
Luz fell back contentedly and grinned. She pulled down her hood and took off her mask "And that's probably it."
Eda gave her an appreciative look "Kid, I like you more and more."
Luz grins before she started using another jutsu, the jutsu she used to escape from the hokage and the other shinobis three months ago. The teleportation jutsu
They vanished in a flash.
———————————————————————
They reappeared a few moments later back in the Owl House. The three were now in the living room.
Eda and King were flabbergasted.
King asked "How did we get here so fast?“
Luz replied with a toothy smile "I used a teleportation trick that is passed on since generations in my family.“
Eda and King stared at Luz.
Eda asked, "So, kid, come on, tell me. What kind of strange magic was that what you used?"
"It wasn't magic, it were jutsus." Luz replied.
King asked, confused, "Juice-sue?"
Luz grinned and sat down on one of the sofas while King and Eda listened intently.
"Okay, so, jutsus are special techniques that ninjas use. They can do incredible things with them, like breathing fire, transforming, or even summoning things."
Eda leaned against the door frame with her arms crossed "Still sounds like magic to me."
Luz shook her head, "Not quite. Jutsus work through chakra. That's a special energy that every person in my world has. It comes from two things. The physical energy that comes from the cells and the mental energy that grows from training and experience. If you combine the two, you can create chakra and then use it to perform jutsus.”
King jumped around excitedly on the sofa next to Luz “So you can use it to make things explode?”
Luz laughed “Yes, that’s possible too. But there are different types of jutsus. There is ninjutsu, which are the classic attack and defense techniques. Then there is genjutsu, which are illusions that deceive the opponent’s mind. And then there is taijutsu, which are pure close combat techniques in which you use chakra to increase your speed and strength.”
Eda scratched her chin thoughtfully “Hm, so a kind of fighting technique with internal energy. Doesn’t sound so stupid.”
King jumped up and raised his fist in the air “I want to be a ninja too! How do I get chakra?”
Luz grinned "Well, in my world you're born with it, but it takes years of training to use it properly. Even though everyone in my world have it in them, not everyone can use it properly.“
King slumped his shoulders in disappointment "Damn... But I could definitely learn it in record time!"
Eda grinned, then pulled out her key and waved it.
"Whatever, a deal is a deal." She clicked at the eye whereupon the portal to the human world opened in front of them.
Luz looked in and saw her world on the other side of the door. But she didn't move.
Eda raised an eyebrow "What's wrong, Kid?"
Luz said nothing. She just stared into the portal. She sighs as she turns to Eda "Would it be possible to stay here for a while?"
Eda blinked in surprise and crossed her arms "You want to stay here? That's... unexpected."
King jumped onto her shoulder and pointed at Luz with his little claw "Yes, exactly! Why would you want that? Your home is right there in front of you!"
Without saying a word, Luz reached into her pouch and pulled out a folded piece of paper. She slowly unfolded it and held it out to them. It was a wanted poster with her face on it.
“Wanted: Luz Noceda - Crimes against the village of Konohagakure.” Below it was a sum, 250,000 Ryo.
Not even close to Eda's bounty, but definitely not an amount that could be ignored.
Eda whistled appreciatively, “Not bad, Kid. But that still doesn't explain why you don't want to go back.”
King giggled, “Does that mean you're a real criminal like us? Impressive! What have you done? Overthrow a monarch? Start a war?”
Luz sighed and hugged the wanted poster to her chest. She went to her things and picked up the huge scroll to show them.
“A rolled carpet?” King asks.
Luz shakes her head, “The Scroll of Sealing.” She began to tell, “I was tricked... A ninja from my village tricked me into stealing this important scroll. I thought it was just a mission, my first mission as a Jonin to test if the new security measures are enough to prevent anyone from stealing it, but when I went to hand it over, I realized I was being tricked. He wanted to label me as traitor.”
Luz snorted and clenched her fists “The guy who tricked me… He couldn’t help but brag about it. He started laughing and telling me how easy it was to fool me. And then…” Luz’s eyes narrowed in anger “Then he started celebrating himself for his genius. He casually mentioned that the village had done something like that before, labeling my parents as traitors and eliminating them just to protect another high-ranking ninja.”
King held his breath as Eda cursed under her breath.
"So I beat the smiles off his and his minions faces," Luz continued, her voice full of anger "He thought he could just treat me like a stupid child who would run away and suffer in silence. But instead I beat the shit out of him until he was lying there whimpering."
She wipes away a tear as she continues.
"When I found out that the village, I had made so many sacrifices for, was responsible for the death of my parents... I couldn't stay in the village any longer. I decided to keep the scroll and leave everything behind. The village, the people, my duties, everything."
She looked away, her voice getting quieter.
"But before I left... I blew up my parents house. I didn't want any strangers to get our house or trample on our things."
Eda and King looked at her with wide eyes.
"And I've been on the run ever since. For three months.”
When she finished telling her story, Luz sat down exhausted on the sofa behind her and tried to control her emotions.
Eda let a moment pass, then plopped down on the sofa next to Luz “So you’re officially an outlaw. Welcome to the club, kid.”
King jumped excitedly onto Luz’s lap “That’s SO cool! I’ve never met a real fugitive ninja!”
Luz smiled a little as she half-heartedly says “King, I’m the only ninja you’ve ever met.”
Eda studied Luz for a moment, then sighed “Fine. I suppose you have your reasons.”
She clicked the eye of her key, and the portal closed.
“You can stay here for a while, but if you want to stay here, you have to follow my rules. And help me with chores around the house.”
Luz looked up and nodded gratefully.
King jumped onto the sofa and raised his fist in the air "Ha! With you by my side, I'm not only the king of the demons, I now also have my very own, unstoppable one-woman army! Tremble before us, mortals!"
Luz hesitated for a moment, then pulled Eda and King into a sudden hug.
Eda froze "Whoa, who gave you permission to get sentimental?"
King fidgeted "Help! I'm the king of the demons, not a cuddly cat!"
Luz laughed quietly, but didn't let go immediately "Well, tough luck."
Luz couldn't help but smile. Maybe she really wasn't safe anywhere in the human world anymore, but here it felt at least a little bit like that.

Meanwhile, at the Conformatorium.
The head witch of the Emperor Coven, Lilith Clawthorn, landed in front of the Conformatorium, or at least what was left of it.
Aside from the guards being questioned by coven scouts or healed by healers, she saw the former prison in ruins.
One of the scouts ran to her when he noticed her and saluted "Head Witch Clawthorne!"
Lilith asks without taking her eyes off the destroyed prison "What happened here Steve? Are there any casualties?"
Steve replied while handing over a clipboard "There are 3 seriously injured, including Warden Wraith, and 15 slightly injured, none of them are in critical condition. There were no casualties, neither guards nor inmates. They were all able to escape the building in time before it collapsed. The inmates are currently on the run."
Lilith rubs her chin as she asks "Was there a prison riot?"
“According to some guards, the Owl Lady broke into the Conformatorium.”
Lilith’s eyes widen “Are you saying that all of this was my sister?”
She would not doubt that her sister is powerful enough to destroy the entire Conformatorium.
“According to the guards, it was not the Owl Lady, but the girl who broke into the Conformatorium with her.”
“A girl?”
Steve points to the clipboard “A 14 or 15 year old girl. Face could not be clearly described because she was wearing a hood and mask. It is difficult to say what the relationship between the Owl Lady and the girl is.”
Lilith looks at the clipboard and read that the girl had used some really powerful spells.
Suddenly a thought shot through Lilith’s head ‘Does Edalyn have a daughter?!‘
Lilith’s blood turned cold. She absolutely had to investigate.
