Summary
Senju Soraya doesn't understand how other people's minds work. She was born for one purpose: to keep her precious people and her clan safe. But she ends up making decisions most wouldn't, changing the road of fate
Note
Soraya is very much like Maomao (iykyk) in the fact that she wants nothing to do but one thing and she gets into these situations by pure coincidence and luck

The First Spark

Senju Soraya is four when she first sees her auntie pack up for a clan mission. Kunai, poison vials, medicine, and extra food is included in a complicated organization that would have enemy ninjas confused. Many years later, Soraya would use the same method.

Soraya is five when her mother starts training her. They start small with senbon needles and aiming, before slowly working their way up to shuriken. By her sixth birthday, Soraya can wield several weapons and has found a companion in senbon needles and a ceremonial dagger.

Soraya is six and a half when she is sent out on her first clan mission. A small mission compared to the ones her adult self will do in the future, but good for now.

She is carrying a scroll to a brothel in a town near the edge of the Land of Fire. She thanks her parents and aunt for taking the time to teach her Chakra for training beforehand along with her weapons training as she leaps from tree to tree, unwilling to trust the ground.

Soraya is unsure of the contents of the scroll but knows that it is important or else Clan Leader Butsuma would not have looked so serious when he had given her her mission.

She is about half way to her destination when she is forced to stop from exhaustion and rest on a tree branch, listening intently.

Soraya is snapped out of her half asleep state at the sound of tree branches somewhere to her left. She internally scolded herself for nearly leaving herself so vulnerable as she hid the scroll in a small seal that was sewn into her shirt.

She carefully twisted around branches to land on a lower branch and peer through the leaves to see a young Uchiha boy around her age bloody and pale, a hand clasped tight over one of his eyes.

Soraya was instantly stuck between hate for Uchiha's and hate for bloodline thieves. Then a memory of her aunts only son, dead in the snow from bloodline thieves and not Uchiha came to mind.

In that split second, Soraya made a decision that no one else had ever considered, changing the fate of the world completely.

~Change of POV: Uchiha boy~

Nisshoku was in so much trouble. It was only supposed to be a simple messenger mission!

Oh, he really hoped he could get away with his life. He couldn't do such a thing to his parents and younger siblings, he just couldn't.

The faint sound of rustling in the trees made him look up and faintly see a small shadow move from one tree to another before melting into that tree, disappearing once again.

Hope bloomed inside him like one of his mother's beloved cherry blossom trees. Was there another ninja here? One that would help him?

"We got you now, brat", one of the bloodline thieves, or thugs as baby Kinto so wisely called them. He seemed to be the leader but was just as fat and thick headed as his subordinates, with a weapon to match.

Before he could speak further, a single senbon flew through the air and stabbed the leader in the neck, making him choke for a moment before his eyes rolled back and he fell over, unconscious.

.. so his mysterious savior was a field medical ninja? He hoped they weren't like Grandma Gurimo or Auntie Emiri, who were both stern and didn't like distractions. (The only times he'd seen either of them smile were with young children.)

The other bloodline thieves began panicking and running around or trying to knock down trees to dislocate the ninja throwing at them. It didn't help though as his savior kicked them off one by one, knocking them all out with ease.

Nisshoku was in awe. "Who are you?" *He whispered in amazement, admiring the bloody forest ground.

A young girl around his age with thick brown hair that had rusty red undertones and was tied up in an elaborate braid crown hung upside down from a branch right in front of him, her face set and her purple siren eyes sharp and wary.

"Unnecessary", she replied curly. Clearly well trained. "Would you like to get rid of them or for me to?"

Nisshoku was just about to recoil when he remembered that the corpses were of bloodline thieves, and had just ambushed him, a child, in an attempt to take his eyes for themselves. Curious to see what she could do, he silently made a go ahead gesture.

She nodded and turned away towards the bloodline traitors, one of whom had woken up and was staring at her in fear.

~Later~

Nisshoku was in heaven. The girl had cut off all the bloodline thieves heads and hung them in the trees. She then drained their blood into jars to put into seals before she stepped aside to let him burn the bodies.

As they burned, he turned to speak to her and saw that she had left while he was distracted. He sighed and leaned against a tree, looking up to the trees.

His parents will be happy to learn he's found a future wife that suits him like his mother suited his father.

And that night, a boy returned home on a day he wasn't supposed to, changing fate a little. The first step of many to come
