Just One Something. ✩ ||Vee/Scraps hurt/comfort||
Vee couldn't do this shit anymore.
She barely got through her gameshow today.
After, she didn't even have the energy to yell at her employees like she usually did-- Well, she's gotten a bit better about that. All because of one specific cat-like toon.
Scraps!
The only one Vee looked forward to seeing on days like this.
Vee entered their room with a loud groan, instantly dropping herself down to the floor. Which hurt internally a bit, since, y'know, she's a robot.
A certain orange and pink girl was laying in their bed, fiddiling with a ball of blue yarn. She was working on a project for her little brother, and Vee thought it was cute how much she cared about him. Her hot pink ears perked up at the sound of Vee entering the room, and noticed that she didn't say hi to her, like she usually did.
So, Scraps sat up and slid off the bed, landing on the floor with a small 'tap' of her claws. Her tail swished in anxiety as she walked over to her girlfriend.
'' Hey, Outdated Tech ! '' She tried to joke, giving a weak chuckle after. Vee just lowered her head deeper into her knees to convey that she wasn't in the mood.
Scraps sighed.
'' You good .. ? ''
She asked, obviously knowing the answer. She was now kneeling down next to Vee with her head tilted. Vee lifted her head slightly, her antennae still drooping.
'' No, Scraps. I'm not. ''
Well, no shit.
Scraps sighed-- Again-- and sat down next to her.
'' Lemme guess .. Dandy again ? ''
'' No. ''
'' Mmn.. Sprout ? '' Scraps seemed to be a bit worried as she asked that. The strawberry toon wasn't one to get angry, and she knew him and Vee had friendly fights sometimes, but--
Surely something didn't actually go wrong, did it .. ?
'' No. ''
Oh, thank God.
Scraps moved a hand to gently rub Vee's shoulder, and her position loosened slightly, embracing the affection.
'' It's today's contestants. '' Vee continued-- '' Imbeciles. Absolute imbeciles. ''
The origami cat could tell there was more to the story, but she knew Vee wasn't one to share, so she didn't push it. She just opened her arms a bit, trying to convey what she meant without words. Vee nodded, and Scraps eagerly jumped into her girlfriend's arms. The TV woman smiled softly, and gently wrapped her arms around the latter.
Scraps coiled her tail softly around Vee's legs, knowing they'd be here a while.
