Dandy was inside his room sitting at a desk staring at his computer screen, he has been looking at the same pictures of the toons of gardenview before the whole ichor operation. the whole operation he himself caused, he felt awful about it even though everything was mainly fixed well enough and it all had happened a few years back.
Still he rotted in his room worrying everyone else who asked Astro about him, speaking of Astro he was walking down a hallway, he just exited the elevator to take him to the main toon rooms, it took a bit to get up here as every toon has a category, whatever they were ranked as they had their own floor level.

Astro walked past his familiar friends rooms, the last door belonging to Shelly before he finally made it to the one toon he knew was struggling a lot.
Astro has known Dandy has been struggling with severe depression ever since the operation had been fixed, most of everyone had forgiven or at least hadn't been awfully upset once they were fixed for the most part. well... everyone excluding Vee, Rodger, and Sprout. Sprout was more upset because it involved Cosmo rather then himself.

Astro quietly knocked on the door to Dandy's room, taking notice of the big printed image of Dandys own head on the door.
He knew Dandy heard him knock, he was just being slightly ignored.
Astro knocked again expecting at least a "who is it?"

Dandy sadly moped as he finally clicked off the pictures, he knew Astro would eventually come to check up on him as the moon toon always had since he was diagnosed.
He sluggishly got off the chair and headed towards his door.
As Dandy opened the creaky door he was met face to face with Astro
"What is it Astro..I'm busy."
"Busy moping around, did you take your medicine? Dandy." Well he didn't expect that response.

Dandy let's Astro into his room, it was a mess.
Dandy had gotten into the hording habit, a horrible habit that didn't do anything good besides stinking, pulling in unwanted pests, and draining the motivation to actually clean said room.
Astro didn't want to seem rude with Dandys current condition, but it seemed he hadn't let Tisha come in for a moment to at least try to clean up the piles of dirty clothes and broken ichor capsules, innocent capsules, the toon handlers had gotten rid of the harmful ichor a while ago.
Most of the capsules were broken or just thrown wherever they would fit.
Dandys own appearance wasn't much better, he was disheveled and dirty. he definitely lost his motivation to take care of himself as well.
As Astro stepped further into the room, he saw one clean spot, it was where Pebbles bed, food, and water dishes were. even though Pebble usually preferred to sleep with Dandy on his cluttered mattress. He cared about that rock a lot.

"No,, I didn't take my medicine. I forgot about it.. sorry."
Dandy said while walking over to one of his drawers and rummaging around for his pill bottle, once he found it he made the effort to open it up and swallow the correct needed pills.
Astro was satisfied with that, Dandy knew he wouldn't leave him alone about that until he actually took them.
Dandy sat down on his bed and rolled face first into his pillow, eventually turning onto his side when he felt the bed dip.

Astro sat down next to Dandy on his bed, he felt sympathetic for the other toon who saw everything that was his fault as a still relevant problem.
"Dandy it was a long time ago, you know that..no one is mad at you anymore.."
"Vee is. so is Sprout."
Dandy quickly responded in a matter of fact moment.
"Sprout is only mad because of Cosmo, you know that. Cosmo already forgave you.."
Dandy didn't respond, he didn't feel like he deserved the cake rolls forgiveness, or anyone's after that operation he started.
"He shouldn't. What if I do it again? What if I don't learn from my mistakes and make everything even worse?!"
Dandy panicked at his own words, stupid thoughts.
"What if I can't do good enough, what if I can't change! Am I even a good person Astro?!"
"..."
"Of course you are Dandy..you made some mistakes but you fixed them, you apologized and still have yet to cause anyone any major trouble..toons are worried about you Dandy."
".....they are?.."
"Tisha was asking about you, so was Shelly and surprisingly Vee."
"Vee was worried about me?"
"I think so, she asked how you were doing, and if you had actually changed. Which you definitely have and I'm so proud of you for that."
Dandy didn't respond, he liked the praise but was embarrassed to admit it.
"I just don't know how someone could forgive me after all that. after everything I DID, I mean I basically almost killed everyone for those tapes Astro."
"..well aren't you improving? You're getting better. And I think that's enough for now, everyone will come around eventually. No one can stay upset forever."
Astro said while he shimmied his way down closer to Dandy, basically laying right beside him now.

There was a comfortable silence between the two for a few moments, but only for a few moments.
"Do you really mean all that Astro?"
"Of course I do dandy. You're having a rough time right now and I get it. Not everyone can handle being in the spotlight all the time but I think you're doing just fine."
"Thank you Astro. I feel a bit better now."
Dandy said with a slight blush, he hadn't dared to roll over to look at Astro yet.
"Could you maybe..stay the night? if you can."
"I think that can be arranged, Dandy."

Then they had a sleepover and had good dreams that Astro gave them both and lived happily depressed after
