El Efecto Milagroso

I WANT MY FAMILY BACK!!!

A surge of powerful gold magic surged within, letting out a powerful shockwave coming out of Vaggie.

The magic shockwave pushed the residents of the Hazbin Hotel back, feeling the magic impact them as it pushed.

As the shockwave left out of the hotel, Charlie, Husk, and Angel Dust stood there, stunned. The only one who was unfazed was just Niffty doing… whatever it was she was doing.

And then Vaggie was falling over. The princess of hell immediately caught her girlfriend into her arms, clutching her love worriedly.

And right there, something that wasn’t there before, a glowing mark on the back of Vaggie’s right hand. An intricate mark of a golden butterfly.

“What the fuck just happened?” was all Angel could say, eyes wide.

Nobody could come up with an answer to that question. If they did answer, it could only lead to more questions.

But they all knew. They all knew that whatever that was… it was something extremely big. Bigger than what they could have ever imagined.

Alastor watches from across the room, truly intrigued at the interesting display before walking away ominously with a fake smile.

Things were about to get interesting.

“Breaking news! A sudden force of unnatural magical energy erupted all over Hell, leaving the people of Hell confused and shaken! Is this some dangerous threat coming our way? Where did it come from? Is this a way for Heaven to strike back after their attempt of an extermination? More info coming soon!”

When Vaggie erupted the magic inside of her, it wasn’t just the hotel residents that were affected by it. It was all of Hell and Heaven.

Others were confused as to what it was. The people of Hell were rioting shit, thinking that it has something to do with heaven or some other bullshit. Heaven was surprised, wondering what that magical surge of power was and why it came from below.

But to the people of Madrigal blood, they were affected way differently than normal souls. Way differently than the average dead person.

For them, they were affected by a blast of memories overcoming them for a brief moment. Memories belonging to their missing Madrigal.

And then after, receiving the same glowing mark as Vaggie’s on the back of their right hand.

Back at the green house, Isabella was taking care of her plants while enjoying Luster’s flirtatious comments. The two of them were sharing lovely eye contact. Camilo was just nearby, rolling his eyes at the couple’s lovey-dovey moment.

All was pretty tranquil, until it wasn’t.

A shockwave of magic filled the green house, causing the succubus to step back at the force pushing her away while the Madrigal demons froze.

And that was when the memories started overflowing.

The two sinners fell to their knees, clutching their heads as flashes kept coming to them.

Luster has no idea what was going on, but the panic in both her girlfriend and her best friend knew she had to do something as she went to both of their sides, “What’s going on?!”

“Ah!” Isabella cried out, eyes wide and overwhelmed. But overall, she was stunned.

Isabella knew these memories. They weren’t hers, but she knew whose perspective she was seeing. She was there in some of those memories herself.

Mirabel…

She didn’t realize it, but the plant demon was crying.

After the wave of memories subsided, they took heavy deep breaths of recovery. As they finally caught their breaths, it was Luster who broke the silence.

“What the fuck was that?!” Luster asked worriedly, looking back and forth between her crew.

Isabella looked at Camilo with wide and disbelieving eyes. The same goes for the yellow chameleon demon as he nodded to say that he felt the exact same thing. They both came to the same realization. There was only one explanation. A conclusion that made them both  stunned that they don’t have any idea how to feel about it.

Mirabel is here. She’s here. She’s here in hell.

Without questioning, Isabella immediately put two fingers into her mouth and whistled. This caused a large creature to emerge from behind the bushes and plants of the green house.

It was some lion-like plant monster. With a multitude of vines making up the muscle of the body. The plant lion also has thorns for claws that look like they can strike with deadly poison. The tail was also a large thick vine and on the end of the tail was the jaws of a venus fly trap. The mane of the lion was that of a flower with red triangular flowers. The face of the plant lion was yellow and the shape of that of a lion, but its teeth had both a variety of poisonous thorns and cactus spikes. Its piercing purple eyes were menacing.

(What? If Sir Pentious can somehow have himself egg boyz as henchmen, then why not have Isabella a plant lion?)

The lion went to their side, lowering itself as the plant beast was waiting for his owner to take him for a ride.

Isabella mounts onto him as Camilo joins.

“Wait, you still have to tell me what’s going on!” shouted a very concerned Luster.

Camilo just grabs her and pulls Luster in between him and Isabella while saying “I’ll tell you on the way!”

Before Luster could ask what that meant, Isabella was already making her lion beast giddy-up, signaling to go. The lion obeyed, lunging forward and running out of the green house’s back door.

Using her connection to plants, Isabella was locating where the miracle source came from while also thinking about the direction of the magic. While doing this, she telepathically told her plant lion which directions to take.

As she did this, Isabella had her thoughts of worry and protectiveness overcome her. What was Mirabel doing in Hell? Why the fuck was she in Hell? Doesn’t she know how dangerous it was? What if she got hurt? Killed again. Taken captive. Or worse!

Eventually, it all leads to one place. One location of where the source came from.

The Hazbin Hotel.

Back in Heaven, the Madrigals, Emily, Molly, and Sir Pentious were talking amongst themselves about plans of how to get one of the Exorcists to take them to Hell. Many suggestions were pretty ambitious while some were pretty interesting as well.

Though, they had to put their brainstorming on hold. Because an energy wave of magic overcame them from below.

“ARGHHH!!!” most of them shouted, clutching their heads at the sudden memories overcoming them.

The ones who weren’t affected, were concerned and overwhelmed at what just happened. Even more concerned as some of them were reacting this way.

“What’sss going on?!” shouted Sir Pentious, comforting Pablo and Arlo.

“I don’t know!” Mariano exclaimed, trying to support his wife who was literally shaking.

Augustin and Felíx also have no idea as they were trying to calm their wives down while having no idea what to do other than comfort them as thunderclouds and cries were heard.

Molly was trying to take care of the twins, who were crying at the hurting overload of information going into their heads that were giving them headaches. Emily was trying to take care of Dolores’s children and Bruno, who was desperately knocking on wood to ease his mind.

After the chaos and the memories subsided, they finally have a moment to calm themselves and look at each other, some of the Madrigals confused while some of them had their eyes wide in realization.

“What the fuck just happened?!” asked Molly, demanding to know what had just occurred.

Pepa seemed to still be on edge, still thundering but can still speak, “They… they were memories.”

“Whose memories?” Mira asked, still shaken from the unexpected surprise.

Julieta just stood there frozen in place. She was on the verge of crying very emotional tears as she said, “They’re… They’re Mirabel’s.”

Augustin's eyes widened along with the rest of them. Memories… of their precious daughter. The daughter that was still unknown to them at the moment.

“And… They…” Emily looked down, as if knowing something, “they came from Hell.”

They knew what this meant. It had to mean something. It does mean something. They didn’t want to believe it at first but the truth was just there for a brief moment.

Mirabel was down there. In hell with Isabella and Camilo.

In an old worn down apartment in hell, a red demon in a tattered old purple dress was reading a book. Nothing was happening at all.

Until a shock of miracle magic made her freeze.

It was like a very big heart attack struck to her core. The memories clutching her veins like fingers of her mistakes and cruelty were inspecting her.

As it died down, she sat there, stunned by what had just happened.

Though the memories weren’t hers, she knew who they belonged to.

“It couldn’t be… it’s… can it..?”

This was a sign.

A sign of karma.
