Chapter 12
Chapter 12
Rio tapped her fingers rhythmically on the wrapped box she carried. Agatha’s present bags lightly swing from her fingertips.
Agatha reached her hand out and placed it on Rio’s back. “I told you I could carry some of those from the car.”
Rio’s eyes took in the large house with big eyes. Her body was shivering even though the jacket she wore was a black puffer and she should have been decently warm. “I told you, I can handle it.” She sighed, letting her shoulder’s drop as she recalled Lilia’s reading once more. “I don’t know, Agatha…”
Blue eyes widened as she saw Rio’s desire to run. She leaned in closer, placing her gloved hand on Rio’s face. “Please.” Her voice was quiet, her lips trembling. She didn’t want Rio to run, she wanted her right here with her, at Lilia’s, for Christmas.
Agatha’s eyes shifted to the duffle and backpack strapped across her younger girlfriend’s back. Her throat cleared. “Besides… I really wanted to see what you got me for Christmas… I have a feeling I’m really going to enjoy myself if you had to bring a backpack with you.” She smirked and Rio turned a smirk on her in return, shaking her head at her partner’s antics.
“Okay, there’s no way we will actually be able to use your gift here… you’re not… quiet, my love.”
Agatha’s chest warmed, she loved when Rio called her that. Her grin widened as she let her hands play with the front of Rio’s jacket, “Oh, I think we will be fine. Sarah and Jared did plenty 13 years ago at Christmas and me and Lilia didn’t hear a peep.” As Rio raised an eyebrow in question, Agatha shrugged. “Jamie arrived 9 months later.”
Rio’s eyes flashed with excitement for only a moment before the creaking sound of the large front door caused her to almost drop the gifts she was holding. Lilia Caldaru stood before her in ancient Sicilian robes. Rio took notice of the gesture, and tried to stand up straight. Her eyes took in the wards on the door with trepidation.
Lilia narrowed her eyes, “Rio.”
Rio gave a little nod of her head. “Hey…” She licked her lips. “Sorry for intruding on your holiday, I… I appreciate the invite.” Her fingers started to tap faster on the box. Lilia’s hazel eyes watching the motion carefully.
Agatha moved forward to hug Lilia, the woman closing her eyes as she accepted Agatha into her arms, cherishing the moment. “Sweetheart, I’m so glad you made it.”
The brunette moved to enter and turned when Rio didn’t follow. “Rio?”
The girl stood on the porch, snowfall dusting her hair. Her eyes watching Lilia with hesitation, her eyes, moving to glace pointedly at the runes surrounding the entrance. She let her eyes fall to the floor. Her arms shifting the presents, preparing to hand them over the threshold – she clearly wasn’t welcome here.
Lilia tutted, rolling her eyes. “I welcome you in.” She swept to the side and Rio’s eyes shot up, her brows furrowed.
Tears started to collect in the young woman’s eyes. Her throat thick with emotion. “Are you sure?”
Lilia snorted. “Get inside before you catch a cold.” She reached her arm out and grabbed Rio’s upper arm, pulling her inside.
Agatha’s eyes widened in concern, her eyes shooting to Lilia. “What just happened?”
The old woman brushing some snow from Rio’s hair, “I swear, Agatha, why didn’t you help her with her hair while you were standing around? You know where the key is.”
Agatha took a step forward and took the bagged gifts from Rio, her eyes sweeping over her in concern. “I’ll just quickly put these under the tree.”
The younger girl blushed under the older woman’s attention, before holding out the box for Lilia as if it were a tribute. “Happy holidays.” She crossed her arms the second it left her hands, Lilia taking it carefully with her own smirk.
“Happy Solstice, Lady Death. It’s been a while.” She dipped her head briefly, as if acknowledging her station.
Rio placed her hands in the back pockets of her jeans. She shifted her weight anxiously. “She’s told you, I don’t remember… anything, right?” Her teeth tugged at her lip.
Lila sighed, she placed her gift on her hip and her other arm around the young woman. “You seemed to worry that I warded the house against you.” She steered her into the room with the Christmas tree, Agatha arranging the new presents amongst the others. Lilia patted Rio’s arm lightly as she spoke softly. “And you would be correct. However,”
Rio’s body started to shake lightly.
“I couldn’t very well invite you two for the holidays, and not allow you inside.” She watched Agatha closely. “That’s why I called you before tonight.”
Rio gulped. “Yes, I… I believe I answered all of your questions. As best as I could at the time.”
Lilia’s voice moved to a whisper. “I knew she had the capacity for love, she just needed to be given a chance.” Lilia sighed. “I just…” She let her eyes turn back to Rio. “Didn’t know what your intentions were.”
Rio licked her lips anxiously before her eyes strayed to Agatha once more, and she couldn’t help her smile. Lilia making a fake disgruntled sound.
“You are so sickeningly in love with her. I see now why you searched for her for so long.”
Rio shrugged. “I’m just… lucky I found her.” Her voice caught a little on the next sentence. “I just hope… I’m not the end for her.”
Lilia patted Rio. “Treat her well, as if this is her last time on earth.”
Rio nodded. “I will. I want to make sure she has everything she was ever denied,” After a beat she added on, “in every lifetime.”
Lilia grabbed her face. “You aren't evil, dear. Despite my fears for Agatha’s soul. Death… is the original green witch. Growth and decay, the origin of the great cycle. You are the natural order of all things, even if we wish to fight you – all roads lead to you.” She leaned forward and kissed Rio on the cheek. “I think we will get along fine.” She patted Rio’s cheek. “At least Agatha brought home a woman,” Her eyes glared at the kitchen.
Agatha strolled over catching the very end of their exchange. “Jared cooking already?”
Lilia’s eyes didn’t deviate from where they were looking. “He’s where he should be.” They heard the fan kick into high mode and Lilia cringed. “He’s set my kitchen on fire twice today already.”
Agatha snorted, Rio looking at her with puppy eyes. “Lilia, he’s terrified of you, you know that. Do you want us to have a charred Christmas dinner? Play nice.” She raised her hand to cover her smile as she giggled at Lilia’s glare.
A voice rang out from the doorway and Agatha’s head snapped to it.
“Auntie Agatha!” Jamie ran at her full force, the older woman’s arms instinctually going for her as the child sailed through the air. Rio moved to brace Agatha from falling, though she didn’t really need to.
Agatha laughed wholeheartedly as the girl wrapped her arms and legs around her, not even trying to fight her smile. “Jams!”
The girl leaned back, leveling her aunt with a firm look. “You didn’t make my competition.”
Agatha’s smile wavered as she tried searching for excuses. “Jams, I-I I’m really sorry, I had to work and…”
Jamie sighed, exhausted. “I really wanted you to come. Mom got it all on her phone, you can watch it over the holiday.” She moved to get down, but pressed her forehead to Agatha’s, staring into her soul. “You look like a cyclops.”
Agatha snorted. “You look like a cyclops.”
Jamie pulled back and her eyes looked Rio up and down with a shit eating grin. “And who is this? A girlfriend?” Her eyes looked back at her aunt. “Are you going to introduce me or what?”
Agatha’s hand shot forward and started to mess with her niece’s red hair, the girl giggling as she fought her off. “Stop it… I just brushed my hair!”
Lilia walked by with a sigh. “Don’t you two break each other so early into the holiday.”
Agatha and Jamie’s matching expressions of shock made Rio relax a little as they started their excuses.
“It’s her fault.”
“I didn’t!”
Agatha shook her head as she turned Jamie a moment later and held onto her shoulders. “Jams, this is Rio.”
Rio lifted her hand to shake the teen’s. “Hey.”
Jamie, took a step forward and took her hand. “So… want some good embarrassing stories about Auntie Agatha? I have plenty.”
Agatha’s hand shot out and covered her mouth, the girl giggling. Agatha’s face fell as the girl licked her and she dropped her hand. “Gross, kid.”
Rio rolled her eyes. “And I don’t know if I am Agatha’s girlfriend,” She raised her hand to her lips and stage whispered to the girl. “She hasn’t asked me yet.”
Agatha flushed pink as the girl snorted. Jamie rolled her eyes. “I’ve tried to give Aunt Agatha pointers on how to talk to girls… grams taught me well.”
Jamie turned to Agatha, a thought dawning on her. “Oh, by the way…. I have a girlfriend now.”
Agatha’s mouth dropped open. “No… who would date you? Do your parents know?”
Jamie stuck her tongue out, then she crossed her arms, a small smile coming over her. “She’s coming by tomorrow. I’m really excited for her to meet you.”
Agatha shook her head, standing tall. “Well, we will see what I think of her. Aren’t you a little young to be dating?”
Jamie lifted her eyes to Rio. “Is she old enough to be dating you?”
Agatha reached for a pillow and smacked Jamie when Rio’s eyes clocked a newcomer that she recognized from the two photos Agatha had up in her house.
“Agatha, pick on someone your own size.” A blond woman a bit closer to Rio’s age walked into the room shaking her head.
Agatha’s voice went quiet, shock taking hold of her as she took in Sarah. Her eyes looked around towards where Lilia had disappeared to, before they returned to the blond as the woman finally made it to her side, wrapping her arms around her.
“Yeah, yeah, lie to me and tell me I look great. I swear the second kid really puts on the baby weight.”
Agatha held her carefully as if she might break. “Why… didn’t you tell me you were expecting? I didn’t,” She cleared her throat. “Have time to get you anything…”
Sarah raised one hand to cup Agatha’s cheek. “I wanted it to be a surprise. Because I have the best Christmas present for you, an early Christmas present.” She closed her eyes before continuing. “Don’t freak out…”
Agatha took a step back. “No.”
Sarah’s eyes opened and held her in place. “Agatha, it’s not up to you.” She pointed over at Jamie, “That one came out just fine, and I waited to tell you until this one was far enough along. It can survive on its own at this point, I’m just holding onto it until it decides it wants out.”
Agatha’s fingers came to her lips as she shook her head slowly. “We talked about this.” Rio’s hand came to settle on her back as Sarah’s eyes flicked to her warmly, before returning to Agatha’s gaze. “I made mom check, there’s no curse.”
Blue eyes widened. “You shouldn’t want it to have anything to do with me…”
Sarah reached for her again. “Mom said you were a little… unsteady right now, but I can’t wait Agatha, you’re going to find out soon anyway, and I wanted it to come from me.” She patted Agatha lightly on the cheek. “It’s just her middle name. No need to be so dramatic.” She smacked her on the shoulder. “And I would want her to be just like you, you idiot.”
Agatha pressed herself back into Rio for support. “Her…” She swallowed. “Her name?”
Sarah’s words were firm yet excited. “Jane Agatha Caldaru.”
Agatha’s hand covered her mouth. Sarah’s eyes rolled as she looked back at Rio. “Hey, I’m Sarah, sorry to do this, like the moment you walked in,” She indicated Agatha with her eyes. “She would have noticed and freaked out anyways.”
Rio ran her thumb over Agatha’s hip lightly. “It’s alright, I think she’s in shock. It’s great to meet you finally, I’ve heard a lot about you.”
Sarah smiled thoughtfully. “I wish Aggie would have mentioned she found someone. Mom only told me yesterday. I’m very excited to share Aggie photos whenever you’re ready.”
Agatha seemed to wake up at that, turning quickly in Rio’s hold, shaking her head violently. “No, no, no… I was an ugly child, you don’t want to see those…”
Sarah snorted, her voice gentle. “You were never ugly, Aggie.”
Agatha’s eyes looked deep into Rio’s as she pleaded with her eyes not to make her turn around, Sarah grabbing her shoulder. “Don’t for a second think that the traditions are off this year. The pool, the shirts… it’s all happening.”
Agatha threw some hair from her face, attempting to smack Sarah in the face, the woman avoided the attack. “I don’t see how the shirt I got you is going to fit…” her eyes trying to stray away from her baby bump but failing, “You’re no longer a medium.”
Sarah glared. “It will still fit on my top half, I’ll wear a tanktop.” She moved around Agatha and wrapped an arm around Rio, “So, I love that you are here to help me gang up on Aggie…”
Blue eyes widened as she chased after Sarah, who was steering her maybe girlfriend to the kitchen. “Wait… I can introduce her to Jared…”
Rio cast a smile over her shoulder, clearly feeling better already. Agatha reached for her hand and held it tight while her kinda sister still kept an arm around Rio’s waist. Agatha grumbling, “I bring home someone and you’ve already tried to steal them from me…”
Sarah rolled her eyes. Waving at Jared standing over at the stove. “Jared, come meet Agatha’s woman.”
Rio’s cheeks slightly blushed as she waved. “Hey, I’m Rio.”
The man’s face relaxed instantly, smiling brightly. “Honey, I thought it was your mother, back to look over my shoulder. I’ve already had three fires today…” He looked around warily before he wiped his hands and reached over the kitchen island. “I’m Jared, glad to see another newcomer in the family, Rio.” He jumped when he saw Lilia appear in the doorway, saluting her. “The kitchen is safe.” He stepped aside to show the stove and Lilia rolled her eyes as she plopped down into a chair at the table. “Jared, can you please find the good champagne, I’m sure Sarah can take over for a moment.”
The man nodded quickly as he took off his apron and handed it to his wife. “You got it, Lilia!” He took off towards the basement. Sarah moved to the stove. “Mom, you know he doesn’t have a clue which one you mean, and you’re going to send him into a panic attack.”
Lilia raised her hands, “I gave him simple directions. I can't help it if he didn’t ask any questions.” Lilia waved them off. “He’ll be fine.” Her eyes lifted to Agatha and Rio. “Agatha, go show Rio your room so she can get settled, honey.”
Agatha nodded her head once, making sure she held Rio’s hand tightly, she tilted her head toward the stairs. “Follow me.”
***
Agatha opened her door softly, her eyes not lingering as she turned to help lift the duffle bag from Rio’s shoulders. “Here.” She moved and set it on a bench near the window. Her eyes drifting outside, Rio followed her to see what she was looking at. “Ah, so that’s the pool you guys push each other into every year…” She tilted her head in thought, “Isn’t it cold? And how is the water still moving at this temperature?”
Agatha shrugged. “We heat it up. Getting out is the torture. I don’t think Sarah should be doing it this year though,” she raised her hands in surrender, “I don’t control her.” Agatha turned to the bed and lifted up the two long sleeve softball tees that Sarah had left them, her mouth left agape when she read the wording. Rio’s curious eyes appeared over her shoulder, the delight was obvious in her voice.
“Bohner family reunion?” She laughed while grabbing a shirt. “Pitch a tent?” Her eyes crinkled. “Oh my god, that’s hilarious.” She looked up, giving Agatha a pitiful pout. “Ours aren't as good.”
Agatha shrugged. “The Mommy tee with Jared’s name and the Daddy tee with Sarah’s name will do just fine.” She shook her head. “I’m not wearing this.” She went to toss the shirt on the floor when Rio caught her hand.
“Hey… your sister picked these out special for us.”
Agatha clicked her tongue. “She’s not my sister.” Her arms crossed as she turned to Rio. The woman rolling her eyes and ignoring Agatha’s temper tantrum. “Honey… she is. This… they’re like really your family.”
Agatha’s eyes tilted downward to look at the tshirt. “They just do this because they feel bad for me…”
Rio lifted her chin. “No, they don’t.” She sighed moving her hand into Agatha’s hair, lightly playing with the long strands. “Your hair is so soft.”
Agatha closed her eyes and tried to breathe. “I… I don’t want to be disappointed if they.... Change their mind.”
Rio moved closer wrapping her arms around Agatha, resting her hand on the back of her head when the other woman’s cheek found her shoulder. “They wouldn’t have kept you this long only to get rid of you.” Dark eyes scanned the room. “I gotta say, I assumed you didn’t have a childhood bedroom, but… this is totally it.” She let her eyes take in the colors and the forest wall print that spanned an accent wall. “This is so you.”
Agatha sighed. “I told Lilia to convert this room back to a guest room.”
Rio moved to kiss the other woman’s neck. “Baby, she wants you to have a place to come home to. Let her take care of you.” She tried to move away, but Agatha held her firmly in place. She settled back into the hug until a while later when Agatha released her.
Rio’s eyes sparkled. “Let’s put on these shirts – I bet you’ll look,” She took in her woman slowly and let the sentence hang as if she had almost forgotten she was speaking, “good.” She leaned forward and placed a kiss to Agatha’s lips, the other woman whimpering lightly when she licked across a sensitive spot.
Blue eyes darkened. “Or…” She moved out of Rio’s hold to lock the door, turned on the tv, (turning up the volume) before moving into the bathroom to turn on the fan. She reappeared in the doorway. “We could…” she bit her thumb while looking at Rio’s bag, “Relax a bit first… and” Her long fingers flicked towards the bench, “see what you got me for Christmas?”
Rio smirked. “Oh, I could definitely go for some relaxation time before spending the night with your family, baby.” She pulled Agatha forward by the loops in her jeans. “I know just the thing to help us unwind.” She moved towards her bag, before she withdrew her hand, forgoing the bag and walked back towards Agatha. “Fuck the toys, we can use them later.” She crashed her lips into Agatha’s, claiming her. Walking her back into the bed and taking herself down with her as they toppled over. Agatha’s hands hurriedly unzipped Rio’s jacket and pushed it from her shoulders before she practically ripped her black cotton shirt over her head. Her eyes darkening at the scrapy lace on display, and the fact that it didn’t actually hide anything.
Agatha smiled, her eyes roaming Rio’s body before she bit her lip, “Well, this is new.”
Rio leaned forward and Agatha laid back. Rio’s eyes tracing her face for a moment too long when Agatha looked away. “What is it?” Her chest rising and falling too quickly.
Rio shook her head. “I want you.”
Agatha smirked, lifting a hand to Rio’s neck. “Then have me, already.”
Rio sighed, she stood and pushed her pants from her body before peeling Agatha out of her clothing. Leaving just her thong in place. Her hands roaming Agatha’s breasts as the older woman sighed, tipping her head back. “Rio…”
The girl’s eyes flashed. “Yes, my love?” She leaned forward and took a nipple into her mouth as she swirled her tongue around the peak. Agatha shuddered.
“Just… don’t stop.”
Rio nodded into her skin. “Let's see how sound proof these walls really are.” She scraped her teeth over the stiff peak before giving the same treatment to the other. Sucking firmly, causing Agatha to gasp and arch her back off of the bed.
Rio ran a single nail from her throat, down her stomach, and paused at her panty line. Her eyes trailing the red line. “I’m feeling impatient.” She practically growled. “I’m ready to cause some damage.”
Agatha pushed her down her body. “Then, go on and do your worst.”
Rio smirked. She licked down over Agatha’s ribs, slowly, before biting at her stomach. Sucking firmly until a bruise began to appear. At the encouragement she heard in Agatha’s sounds, she added another. She chuckled lightly. “Baby, you’re going to need to keep your clothes on when you go swimming, these are not leaving anytime soon.”
Agatha groaned, losing patience. “More.”
Rio leaned down further and pulled her underwear down a bit before placing one more hickey below her underwear line. Agatha’s breathing continued to pick up its pace.
The younger woman used her one hand to pull Agatha’s thin fabric to the side, as her thumb started drawing lazy circles around Agatha’s clit, the woman on bottom gasping at the sensation, her hands seeking out her own hair as she pulled.
Rio’s eyes gleaming, “Oh, baby, if you wanted it rougher, you just had to ask. Perhaps, when we find time to use the toys...”
Agatha bit her lip as Rio pressed her thumb into her. Rio groaned. “You’re so wet.”
Agatha thought that Rio was about to continue but she quickly removed her thumb, Agatha just about sat up to see what was going on when she slammed her head back into the mattress, a guttural moan erupting past her lips. “Fuck.”
Rio’s tongue dove into her as if it were its job to personally clean up every ounce of wetness that escaped the other woman. Rio’s mouth drawing out more patterns than Agatha even knew existed against her slick folds.
Agatha’s hand gently threaded into Rio’s black hair. Her hips pressing up lightly, following the younger woman’s rhythm. The older woman grunting every time Rio flicked her tongue. She started to whimper when Rio reached a hand up her body and started to play with her nipple as well, pinching and pulling, Agatha, crying out even louder.
Rio pushed one of Agatha’s thighs over her shoulder so she could dig deeper into her. Agatha’s screams grew non-verbal.
Rio slipped two fingers inside as she wiped some of Agatha’s cum from her chin with the other hand, knowing the other woman was far from done. She twisted her fingers pressing deep into Agatha’s walls, Blue eyes opening to search for her, Rio’s eyes widening as liquid began to collect in Agatha’s eyes. She slowed her hand down as she climbed back up her body. “You’re alright, is it too intense?”
Agatha shook her head, her eyes searching Rio’s, her hand reached out for her and Rio lowered her body to hers as requested. Agatha tried to kiss her but her lips were uncoordinated, Agatha’s hands came to hold Rio’s sides, nails digging into her back as she gasped into Rio’s mouth.
Rio moved her lips to Agatha’s pulsepoint and sucked at it gently. Agatha’s hands gripping at her frantically.
“Please…” She gasped as the sensation started to build again stronger. “Te amo, mi vida.”
Rio’s lips twitching at the rapid spanish flowing from Agatha’s lips – she didn’t know she spoke spanish. She continued pulling the sounds out of her until Agatha’s body finally seized up, her voice going a higher pitch than Rio had ever heard it. Her cheeks flushing at the sounds as she felt herself come just from the noises emitted.
Rio continued to move her fingers until Agatha grunted and pushed them away. Her eyes closed, exhausted. Rio’s lips dusting kisses all over her chest, feeling it vibrate with a quiet laughter.
Agatha blew out a breath. “Damn, that was worth dying for,”
Rio went to fold her dark hair behind her ear when Agatha beat her to it. “You’re…” Agatha’s eyes searched her face. “Beautiful.”
Rio leaned down and placed her head against her chest blushing profusely, closing her eyes as she focused on the sounds of Agatha’s heartbeat. She traced her finger over the place where Agatha’s heart should be. Her voice was so quiet that Agatha almost didn’t hear her.
“I hope it never stops beating.”
Agatha started to run her fingers through Rio’s hair. “Who knows,”
Rio’s eyes opened and she glanced up, looking worriedly for blue eyes.
Agatha shrugged as if her end was the easiest thing in the world to contemplate. “Maybe you’ll bend the rules for me, and it never will.”
Rio folded her arms on Agatha's chest and placed her chin on top. “I’m sure that can be arranged.”
Agatha closed her eyes, relaxed at last. Rio’s fingers again began tracing patterns on her skin, Agatha’s brows furrowed as she started to trace the patterns in her mind. “Runes?”
Rio nodded, her eyes following her finger. “I wanted to protect you.”
Agatha shook her head. “You don’t need to worry so much. You… You didn’t want me before, when I was growing up. Why would you take me now?”
Rio kissed her chest, speaking words that had never felt truer to her. “I have always wanted you. It simply wasn’t your time to go. There was more for you in this world.” Her dark eyes lifted and traced a white line under Agatha’s jaw. “Love, what… what is this?”
Agatha didn’t open her eyes but let her hand find Rio’s. Her lips smirked at the answer she was about to give. “A scar.”
Rio closed her mouth as she pondered if she should push when Agatha ran her thumb across Rio’s pale hand. “A souvenir of one of my mother’s many attempts on my life.” She cracked open an eye. “She didn’t know we weren't supposed to meet yet.”
Rio’s fingers traced the line before Agatha moved her hand to another part of her. “That was from a rope, she tried to hang me.” Her fingers led Rio’s over her chest. “Can’t see this scar but she tried to drown me.” Her hand moved Rio’s hand to her head. “I guess it left more of a scar here. I can’t take baths or go near water, not until you.”
Rio sighed, letting her fingers thread into Agatha’s wavy hair before she moved Rio’s hand out in front of her, her eyes opening. “She tried to burn me. Tied me to a wooden pole.” She let her fingers curl around Rio’s hand one at a time. “I somehow slipped through the hand bindings and only caught my dress on fire.” She let her eyes open. “So, where are your scars? I showed you mine…”
Rio pointed at her tattoo. “This one is the only physical one, most of mine are emotional.” Her head dipped as she let her hands play with a strand of Agatha’s hair, the other woman not commenting on the action. “Alice is my family, I would… love for you to meet her.”
Agatha sighed. “If that’s what you would like.”
Rio nodded. “It is.” Her eyes drifted to the door as she bit her lip. “Hey, Agatha, can I ask you something?”
The woman on the bed got more comfortable. “If you keep fucking me this good, you can probably ask me anything.”
Rio’s eyes strayed to her heart. “Do you want kids? Like, if your mother’s out of the picture for good?”
Agatha slowly let air trickle into her lungs. She let her hand fall from Rio, “Do you?”
Rio shifted. “I… have already frozen my eggs.” She shrugged. “I never know what I want.”
Agatha ran a finger across her cheek. “Okay. Are you wanting to use them?”
Rio blew out a breath. “I don’t know.” Her eyes looked nervously at Agatha. “A little you would be pretty cute though, I don’t think I could say no if you wanted that.”
Agatha smiled sadly. “I think that ship has sailed.”
Rio leaned to sit up. “If I wanted you to check your fertility… would you?”
Agatha sat up, her hand reaching out to the pillow. “What would you do if I could…”
Rio reached out and placed her hand on Agatha’s. “See if we could freeze your eggs, just in case.”
The older woman hummed. “Okay, I can, consider that.”
Rio shrugged. “There’s always mine for backup, but… if we do ever have children, I think I would want one of each.” Her voice was soft. “If that’s possible.”
Agatha leaned her head on her hand. “Who’s paying for IVF if we do this?”
Rio snorted. “Well, me, obviously.”
Agatha smiled. “We can think about it.”
Rio’s hand caressed Agatha, “You’re so good with Jamie.”
The older woman shrugged, “She has Sarah, I’m just…”
Rio squeezed her hand. “Her aunt. And she seems to love you for it.”
Agatha squeezed Rio back when she heard her phone vibrate, Rio snarking from behind her.
“Moment of truth, did everyone in this house hear you?”
Agatha’s eyes rolled, “Lilia left us hydration drinks and a snack. She said they started a movie when ours took a bit of an unexpected turn.” Her hand covering her mouth. “They think we were watching porn,”
Rio’s laughter rang out around the room. “Maybe we did get a little carried away.”
Agatha grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around herself before she moved to the door to retrieve their snacks. She paused as she came back to the bed, her eyes trained on one important detail. Rio’s eyes following hers.
“Oh, not the shirt.” Agatha smirked in satisfaction as she took in the wetness all over the item before her eyes glanced up and caught Rio’s look. “What?”
Rio pouted. “Baby, you have to wear the other one, I’ve been so excited to see you in it. Plus, Sarah worked really hard to find these.”
Agatha scoffed. “They say boner on them!” her hands gesticulating to the object.
Rio chewed on her lip. “I really wanted to see you in it.”
Blue eyes rolled as Agatha slapped at her thighs. “F-fine!” She grabbed the shirt and stormed into the bathroom. She put up her hair into a messy ponytail before she walked back out in just the shirt and her ruined panties. “This do it for you?”
Rio smiled gleefully. “Yeah… that does it for me.” She nuzzled her face down into the mattress.
Agatha ripped off her ruined underwear as she shifted through their bag, they had packed together and she grabbed a pair of Rio’s underwear first and then decided she might as well and pulled them on before continuing to look for her cozy sweatpants. Rio’s eyes watched her sleepily as they started to fall closed. Her soft sounds soon alerted Agatha to the fact that she had passed out.
