The Prophecy Begins Era
1.
Jake is a Maine Coon and Tallstar is an Oriental Shorthair. Unfortunately for Tallstar, all of their kits were giant fluffy monsters, and so were their grandkits. The first cat to even semi-look like him outside of coloring was their great grandkit Jayflight.
Jake likes to rub it in every chance he gets. Tallstar is unamused every time.

Instead of Spottedleaf, Redtail was Firestar's spirit guide.
And so was Silverstream, and Oakheart, and Palebird, and-
Okay, bro had a lot. Cats kept adopting him, even from beyond the grave.
3.
Yellowfang and Bluestar are mates.
Thunderclan knows it. The other clans know it.
Starclan even knows, they just haven't said anything bc they're afraid of Yellowfang.
They certainly won't say anything when both of them join Starclan.

Firestar was apprenticed at about 3 1/2 moons old and became a warrior at about 9. Everyone was mortified when they realized.
Bestie became leader at like... barely 13 moons old. One of if not the youngest leader in known clan history.

Icekit (Scourge), or rather Ice, literally started his own clan at like four moons old. He officially earned his nine lives and became Icestar at about 18 moons old during the Bloodclan battle. Scared the shit out of Tigerstar when he stood back up after supposedly "dying".
Officially, the clan is named Iceclan. Colloquially, they are called the Bloodless
(If you've ever watched the Boonstar next up forever map, it's pretty much that.)

The biggest complaint about Thunderclan is their population. No longer being 'pure' is a common insult towards Thunderclan.
By the Great Battle, they have a fox, a few blind/partially blind warriors, a deaf warrior, a mute warrior, a hairless former kittypet, several former rogues/loners/kittypets, half-clan cats, amputees, etc. They even have several cats from other clans join.
What's also funny is that they win the most battles, have the highest survival rate (especially kits), and the longest life expectancy out of any of the clans, despite their "unworthy" warriors.
... the lack of inbreeding probably helps, but who knows?

Firestar and his sister Gorseflower (Princess) were legally adopted by Bluestar and Yellowfang. Like, these lesbians told starclan those two were theirs now and starclan was like 'aight checks out'
They absolutely adore their mamas.

Firestar, Sandstorm, and Dustpelt are all in a relationship together.
They have two litters:
The first was Squirreltail & Larkwillow (Leafpool).
The second was Hopeheart and Wishsprite, named after Firestar's dead adoptive sisters. Yellowfang cried when she heard the names.

Thanks to encouragement by Fireheart, Bluestar and Crookedstar made the Sunning Rocks neutral territory with a vow that Starclan themselves will uphold.
No more cats die over a stupid piece of land, elders and queens alike get to gossip amongst themselves, and Crookedstar gets to know his Thunderclan grandkits, Stormkit and Pebblekit.

Cinderpaw was still hit by the monster, but this time Yellowfang spoke with Windclan, who had experience with leg traumas, and Riverclan, who offered to assist by helping Cinderpaw with leg exercises in the river.
She made a full recovery and became a warrior.

Cinderpaw and Brackenpaw both requested to be named after Fireheart because of how much he meant to them, earning the names Cinderflame and Brackentuft. Tuft, Brackentuft learns later, was because both him and Fireheart are walking balls of fluff.
12.
Fireheart didn't realize his connection to Windclan until he and Graystripe went to bring them back. Tallstar mistook Fireheart for Jake at first sight. The two didn't get the chance to talk until they made it to the Windclan camp.
There was lots of tears.
13.
Jake did survive being hit by the car. He lost his front right leg in the accident and was taken home by a twoleg. He would not return to the clans until the power of 3 arc as his neighbors were Millie and Graystripe.
14.
Firestar is often considered an honorary king in the nursery, even before he had kits. When he first arrived to the clan as Firepaw, he was practically adopted by all the queens, especially Goldenflower.
Even as a warrior, and later leader, he often spent time in there either hanging out or playing with kits. At one point, all the current kits in the nursery thought he was their dad (Bramblekit, Tawnykit, Stormkit, Pebblekit, etc.)
He didn't have the heart to correct them.
15.
Yellowfang doesn't die during the fire. Due to Fireheart's size, he was able to carry her, Bramblekit, and Patchpelt out of the fire.
Patchpelt unfortunately did pass later on due to injuries.
Yellowfang, on the other hand, is pulling a Mistystar and refuses to die. She is still alive by the time the Great Battle occurs, entirely out of sheer stubbornness.
16.
Graystripe's kits and Tawnypaw all stay in Thunderclan. Their warrior names are Tawnydusk, Stormstrike, and Pebblefur.
17.
Snowkit is not carried off by a hawk, but is saved by Firestar. He is apprenticed to Brackentuft, who managed to develop a form of sign language so he can speak. His warrior name is Snowsnout, due to his excellent tracking skills.
18.
Bluestar retired, returning to the name of Bluefur. She also doesn't die by almost drowning. She makes it to the new territories.
19.
Firestar is ftm trans and Sandstorm is mtf trans. Firestar carries all of the kits for FireSandDust.
20.
Firestar is adored by the other clans.
Some admire him, some wish they were his kits, other wish they could have his kits.
He's also completely unaware of how extensive it is.
For example, when Tigerclaw tries to feed him to the wild dogs, at least two cats from each clan show up to defend him.
21.
Whitestorm killed his father, Thistleclaw. He knew Thistlclaw was a monster, but once Spottedpaw told Whitestorm what his father did, Whitestorm saw red.
Whitestorm attacked his father by the Sunning Rocks and drowned him in the river. They never found the body.
Bluestar suspects Whitestorm had something to do with it, but would never betray her nephew like that.
22.
Ice, Firestar's brother, was the runt of the litter. Even as an adult, he barely comes up to his brother's shoulder.
23.
Gorseflower came into the clan at about 9 moons old. Fireheart found her not long after becoming a warrior, lost in the woods. Much like her brother, Gorse was taken in by twolegs after the car accident.
Her owners, however, wanted her to be a breeder. She escaped into the woods with the hope that she could find her way back to the clans. Fireheart found her and brought her back to Thunderclan.
Gorse was a week or two out from kitting, to the horror of the clan. Once her kits became apprentices, she officially became a medicine cat under Yellowfang.

Gorseflower has 5 kits:
Cloudtail - Large, long-furred white tom with blue eyes.
Cypressface- A large, pretty light-gray molly with thick fur and green eyes (Taylor).
Bloomtail- Small red-brown molly with a white muzzle, chest, paws, and amber eyes. Has a particularly fluffy tail (Nami).
Cinnamonfoot - Large, mostly white molly with brown muzzle and legs. and blue eyes (Livy)
Mapleblotch- White tom with black and red-brown patches and amber eyes (Zack).
Gorseflower did have a 6th named Flickerkit but he died very young.

In this AU, Firestar and Spottedleaf had no romantic interest in each other. Firepaw just had a small crush on her that faded pretty quickly.
26.
Icestar knows how to speak dog. This is a skill that Iceclan softpaws, or apprentices, are required to know before becoming a full fledged member of the clan.
27.
Firepaw was at the Sunning Rocks Battle at the beginning of Into the Wild. Part of the reason Oakheart was one of his spirit guides was because he died saving Firepaw's life.
Firepaw was fighting a Riverclan warrior, they threw him into the rocks, only for Oakheart to knock him out of the rockslide's way. He ended up crushed.
28.
Very early on in Firestar's leadership, a newborn kit was found abandoned in the forest.
Unbeknownst to the clan cats, fox kits look almost identical to cat kits as newborns. Imagine their surprise when she started looking less like a cat and more like a fox.
Despite the concerns, she would grow up to be a brilliant warrior by the name of Rosetooth.
29.
Iceclan was discovered when the dogs were attacking Thunderclan. Shadowclan had interacted with their cats before so Firestar and Gorseflower went to see if they could help with the dogs.
Imagine their surprise when they see their little brother.
30.
Iceclan does eventually join in on Gatherings once a moon. Icestar typically has his deputies pick a pawful from each faction and then leads them to the Fourtrees.
31.
Graystripe was not allowed to enter the nursery after his kits were born. However, Fireheart would often visit the kits as his sister was in the den.
The Pebblekit and Stormkit would end up calling Fireheart 'papa', Dustpelt 'dad', and Sandstorm 'mom'.
It pissed off Graystripe to no end.
