A Teaser For Whats To Come. (Catnap x Dogday)
Somewhere in the world. On an island in the middle of the atlantic, lies a great and advanced techno city. Its complex machinery and technology gives way for innovation in many areas while the entire world were still a century behind with micro chips and circuitry, while the city of critters were harnessing nuclear fission and fusion for daily appliances. The common thing for the fluffy or furry citizens to browse in the interwebs are dead memes from the world and one such orange canine has the perfect one for his latest scheme...
Catnap, an officer part of the police force, had gotten an anonymous message hinting about Dogday's next move. The messages were always a coin toss on whether it was an actual anonymous sender warning the police, or it was Dogday tricking him. In the past month, 15 of the 30 messages were Dogday luring Catnap to a trap. But since he is the star officer, he always moves fastest. Even then, Dogday was mostly harmless and only really causes temporary annoyances.
This time, the message led to a sewer. As the bright noon sun was high above him, he contemplated opening up the manhole. Sure with the advent of their society being so advanced, the sewers were always clean and probably only smelled like nothing. What Catnap was contemplating was if the bomb threat was true or not. He treaded onwards, opening the manhole.
Inside looked far cleaner than any sewer anywhere else in the world, but ogling the cleanliness of the sewers isn't his current priority right now, finding out the where bomb is, that's his priority. After about 5 minutes of searching, Catnap came across a large hub area for sewage pipes. In the middle of the room is a large cartoon-like bomb. Taking a step forward while scanning with his cyber-eye implants, he can see that the bomb is just a fake with no explosives inside of it, and scanning the room shows that the second he steps into the room the doors will close.
After taking a deep breath, he steels himself and steps forward, now knowing that whomever had set this up was Dogday. Then, like his scanning had predicted, the doors of the area closed and the bomb had popped open with confetti shooting out. Just then, a large exoskeleton frame had appeared behind him and latches itself onto Catnap's back, while laughter could be heard in front of him, as Dogday turned off his cloaking device. "Hello again kitty!!!!" Dogday said excitedly as Catnap barely tried to fight back against the exoskeleton, with an unamused expression.
"Did you miss me?! I missed you so much!!!" Dogday said while hugging him tightly. if it weren't for the exoskeleton, Dogday would be depriving Catnap of oxygen over how tight he was being hugged. "...Hi Dogday..." Catnap said while Dogday showered his face in kisses. "What's your newest prank to the police force?" Catnap continued. "Oh no. This isn't just for the police. It's for YOU, and for EVERYONE!!" Dogday said while raising his arms in the air. "What?!" Catnap managed to shout out before a camera on wheels had shown itself and a large TV screen had came from a hole in the ceiling showing the video feed of the camera.
"Helloooooo! Critters and Furbionics alike! My name is Dogday Solar, and Im coming at ya live from the sewer of Technofur City! And Im here with the star officer of the Technofur Police Department, Catnap Lunar!!!!!" Dogday shouted into the camera, as Catnap stood there unamused. "Anyway we're gonna hit you with a throwback performance. With Rick Astley's famous rage song. Never Gonna Give You Up!!!!!!" Dogday shouted again, as Catnap read on the screen some subtitles that scrolled by 'Vocals performed by Dogday and Dance moves performed by Catnap' "Wait, what the hell?" Catnap managed to yell out before the exoskeleton started moving, making him move along with the exoskeleton. Catnap cringed in embarrassment at what he was about to do, since he wasn't known for dancing.
"Hit it!" Dogday yelled out. Then music started playing and the exoskeleton started dancing, which made him started to dance as he tapped his foot down and started moving his arms from side to side, all the while he was glaring at Dogday. Dogday even chimed in with his own dancing.
"We're no strangers to love."
Dogday sang while pulling a microphone from behind him.
"You know the rules. And so do I."
Dogday sung as he pointed at Catnap, then pointed at himself.
"A full commitment's what I'm thinkin' of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy."
Then Dogday grabs his hands as the microphone hovers in the air, following his mouth.
"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling. Gotta make you understand."
Then Dogday twirled him around, as he started mimicking the movements of Catnap.
"Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around and desert you."
The movements that both of them did closely resembled the music video of the song they were performing, making Catnap cringe more, and blush a bit knowing the meaning of the song's lyrics.
"Never gonna make you cry. Never gonna say goodbye. Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you."
"We've known each other for so long. Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it. Inside, we both know what's been going on. We know the game and we're gonna play it."
Catnap then decided to just embrace it, and started to smile a bit.
"And if you ask me how I'm feeling. Don't tell me you're too blind to see."
From this part onwards, Catnap decided to sing along with Dogday.

Dogday held the microphone to Catnap's mouth in surprise of him singing.

Dogday happily clapped and cheered for Catnap as he blushes harder. Dogday then produced another microphone and let it hover and follow Catnap around as he danced.

The both of them danced and sang along to the song.

When the song finished, Dogday walked towards the camera again. "Thank you all for viewing this romantic scene between two lovers!" Dogday cheerfully shouted while holding up a peace sign when the video feed cut off, the words that were said live before probably the whole city made Catnap turn bright pink. Dogday then walked up towards Catnap while chuckling, giving him a quick peck on the lips. "Thanks pup, I was going through a rough time today." Catnap said to Dogday, making feel very loved and proud, thus making him give many more kisses to Catnap...

When Catnap returned to the police station, all of the Nightmare Critters, his fellow officers of the law, were looking at him with knowing smirks. "Not a goddamn word!" Catnap yelled out to all of them, making them start laughing, including Catnap.
