I Wish I Was Special, You're So Fucking Special. (Catnap x Crafty)

Crafty couldn't believe what she was seeing, so much so that she started to break down in tears. It was a video of her husband Dogday with another woman, having dinner, being flirty, and finally making out behind an alley. She didn't recognise the woman, and Dogday had told her that he was an only child. "I'm sorry." The man in front of her replies. She had hired a private investigator to find anything about Dogday because she had heard rumors from one of his coworkers that he was cheating on her. Of course she didn't believe it but she did have to make sure, and get concrete evidence. But now that it was staring her in the face, she wishes she never had done this in the first place.

Even though she now knew what Dogday was doing behind her back, she didn't want to confront him yet because she needed some time to prepare herself. So, she went inside of a mall to reflect and get her mind ready. She had went inside of a music store just to browse but then she saw some new CD's that were released about month ago. It was Creep by Radiohead. She had known and owned some of their previous music and was interested in this new single. Thankfully there was a sample station with headphones attached to the small kiosk that was used for listening to the music before you buy it.

She had put the headphones on and listened to the instruments for a bit while she looked over the CD case, some soft drums and guitars played slowly and tenderly in the headphones as she carefully listened, waiting for the vocals to drop.

"When you were here before. Couldn't look you in the eye."

At that moment another person had went up to the kiosk and put on another set of headphones. Crafty had turned to look at the person and saw that it was a purple cat, who looked to be slowly chewing some gum.

"You're just like an angel. You're skin makes me cry."

The cat makes sure that the headphones are securely on his head before he looks over the CD case, squinting his eyes as he chews. Crafty wasn't known for socializing, the only reason that she had found Dogday was that he had came to her first, so she looked away from the handsome cat to keep listening to the music.

"You float like a feather. In a beautiful world."

The two had awkwardly kept glancing at eachother, somehow while the other wasn't looking.

"I wish I was special. You're so fucking special."

The two had finally locked eyes, Catnap gave a soft smile while Crafty did the same. Turning away from eachother again.

"But I'm a creep."

The two had looked at eachother again, Catnap had gestured to her headphones, questioning if she was listening to the same thing as him, Crafty had nodded while smiling, answering Catnap's question.

"Im a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here."

Crafty took her time to ogle and gaze at the features of the handsome purple cat. The way his tail swings along to the music, how he slowly chews, the way his eyes react to the music behind his glasses, the fact that he's probably a good bit taller than Dogday.

"I don't care if it hurts. I wanna have control. I wanna perfect body. I want a perfect soul."

Catnap, while crafty was looking away, had a quick glance of his own, before looking away.

"I want you to notice. When I'm not around. You're so fucking special. I wish I was special."

Crafty was conflicted on the music she was hearing. In her creative and artistic mind, she was putting pieces in her head that this would have looked like a scene from a romance movie. One that would be way better than some people would expect. As she unknowingly had started to stare at the handsome feline again.

"Im a creep. I'm a weirdo."

The rows upon rows of people go around the duo entranced by the music, going about their day.

"What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here. Oh. Oh."

Catnap then takes off his headphones, having heard enough of the music and wanting to now purchase it, leaves the kiosk with a CD in hand, but not before giving a soft smile to Crafty, bidding farewell.

"She's running out the door."

Crafty looks on as the cat slowly walks away, eventually leaving her view.

"She's running out. She run. Run. Run. Run!!!!!"

Crafty contemplates a moment before looking around, eventually deciding to run after the purple cat. Too engrossed in her chase, she forgets to put the headphones back properly, as they dangle from the wire connecting them to the kiosk.

"Run!!!!!"

Crafty frantically searches the store for the cat, somehow still hearing the music inside her head, alongside other music being played by the store speakers.

"Whatever makes you happy. Whatever you want. You're so fucking special. I wish I was special."

Crafty had eventually found him again, browsing a shelf of other music. When Catnap sees her he gives her another smile, showing off the CD case.

"But I'm a creep. Im a weirdo."

Crafty in turn shows off her own copy of the music before accidentally dropping it. Embarrassed she quickly leaves, while Catnap looks on, slightly saddened that he wasn't able to ask anything about her.

"What the hell am I doing here? Oh I don't belong here. I don't belong here."

Crafty leaves the store and the mall, she wonders whether she should've asked the man anything about himself, for when would be the next time they would see eachother? Clutching the CD in her hand, she slowly walks back home...

Crafty decides that it was time to see a lawyer to start her divorce with Dogday. So clutching her documents, she walks inside the large building. The lawyer's office was on the 36th floor of the tall skyscraper so she directly went to the elevator. Just when she had got inside, a familiar purple cat had also quickly got on.

"Oh hello, you were the lady from the music store." The cat had said in a soft and smooth voice. "Ah, yes hi. I'm Craftycorn by the way, what's your name?" She asked as she felt her heart beat out of her chest. "Oh right. My name is Catnap, it's nice to finally meet you.". He said, reaching his hand out for a handshake, she then returns the handshake.

"Wait, Catnap? Are you by chance the lawyer Catnap Satellite?" Crafty had asked Catnap. "Yes? Oh! And are you Craftycorn Sketch?" Catnap had said, surprised. Crafty had nodded while smiling softly. Catnap's small smile then faltered as he remembered why Crafty had wanted to be his client. "You're here about your divorce correct?" Catnap siad with a straight face. "Yes. My husband had cheated on me, so I want the divorce to go underway now so that he can just sign some papers and then we can split. Crafty said. Prompting the elevator doors to finally close and go up.

"Well, how someone could cheat on someone so beautiful is beyond my understanding." Catnap said with a slight smirk, making Crafty blush a small bit. "Ah I'm sorry, that was unprofessional." Catnap said while looking away, adjusting his glasses. The elevator ride seemed to go on for eternity. With the two critters quickly stealing glances from eachother any chance they get. Eventually leading them to lock their gazes into each others eyes. Slowly, they turned towards eachother. Crafty's arms clutching her documents had fell to her sides as they both slowly walked towards eachother and leaned forwards to kiss. Crafty had put her arms around Catnap while she was still holding her documents.

The kiss seemed to last longer than a millennium until the both of them had broken the kiss, only for them to lean in again.
