Mizuena's Christmas morning!!!
It was a cold morning as the rainy weather crashed down onto the roof of the Akiyama-Shinonome household, the two residents were soundly asleep. It was 6 am on Christmas day when Mizuki's alarm rang, signalling a start to the day. The pink-haired woman stirred, her pink eyes opening subtly getting used to the light which seeped through their large bedroom window. Mizuki starts to yawn whilst getting out of bed, trying not to disturb the brunette soundly asleep next to her.
Her plan backfires on her as Ena starts to wake up instantly after Mizuki leaves the bed.
"Morning, babe." Ena says quite groggily, as she starts to fully wake up.
"Merry Christmas, Enanan!!!" Mizuki replies back as she walks to the ensuite.
"Merry Christmas." Ena repeats as she gets up following Mizuki.
"So, when are we gonna open presents?" The brunette asks while grabbing some serums from the cabinet on-top of the sink.
"After we finish our morning skin care we can, my love." The pinkette says, as she walks over to Ena, wrapping her arms around the brunette's waist before giving her a kiss on the forehead.
The bathroom was quite crowded with the two of them in there, but the two made it work. As 40 minutes went by the two finally finished their skin care routines, as they chatted about their plans for the day the two of them walked out the bathroom, and straight into the living room where their Christmas tree and stockings lay.
The room was decorated in all things pink and white, from the ornaments on the tree to the lights it was all pink, maybe some ornaments which were sentimental had other colours, but mainly those two colours were visible. The two sat down admiring the view of the cosy living room, after a while Mizuki broke the silence by asking a question.
"Hey Enanan, what presents do we open up first?" Mizuki asks curiously.
"Let's start with the stockings!" Ena replies in a cheerful mood, one that's quite odd due to the fact Ena hates waking up early.
"Okay!" Mizuki states as she gets off the couch, to grab the stockings.
The stockings were hand made by Mizuki herself they were quite small but could still fit a lot in them, the colours of the stockings matched the two women's hair colours. Mizuki's being pink and Ena's being brown. Mizuki passes Ena her stocking, and in seconds they rip open their presents.
The brunette got many cute art supplies, lip oils and many other adorable items. On the other hand Mizuki got some high quality makeup and some cute little trinkets, such as pins or keychains of her favourite anime characters. Later they move onto their big presents which lay under their aesthetically pleasing tree.
"I'm so excited to see what I got!!!" Mizuki happily hums as she waits for Ena to get them out from under the tree.
Ena retrieves the gifts, handing them to both Mizuki and herself. The pink-haired girl starts unwrapping her gift, she eagerly tosses away the wrapping paper to reveal a cute pink kitty plush. Mizuki screams with joy as she sees the plushie, squeezing it into a tight hug.
"OMG ENA, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH ITS SO CUTE!!!" Mizuki squeals in excitement.
"YOU SHOULD SO OPEN THIS GIFT RIGHT HERE!!" mizuki adds, gesturing to a present wrapped in white wrapping paper.
Hehe, I guess I will, unless I leave it until last." The brunette jokes, making the pinkette get a bit impatient.
"Ena!!! Please open it now!!!" Mizuki complains.
"Fine, keep your knickers on, I'll open it now." Ena jokes as she starts to tear away the paper revealing a massive brown bear plushie.
"Aww Mizu, I love it so much!" Ena says as she holds the bear.
"I'm glad you do! Anyways I think we unintentionally bought eachother matching plushies, hehehe!" Mizuki replies stealing Enas bear and placing it on the couch next to her cat plush."
"I think we did, anyways they look so cute together." Ena adds.
The two of them open up more presents which were a mix of appliances like a new sewing machine for mizuki, to art supplies such as a new pallete. Mizuki also may have gotten Ena some pancakes mix.
As the two of them finished wrapping they went back to bed to cuddle some more."
