Authors Note- Not A Chapter (sorry)

Hello to anyone still reading this fic! I'm very sorry to say that I am unable to finish this story. If anyone wants an explanation, here it is.

Initially I struggled to update this story for an admittedly silly reason; I couldn't get the holidays to match up. I know that doesn't really matter, but I wasn't in a very good mental state at the time and the holidays not lining up with real life holidays was seriously messing with me and lead to pretty bad writer's block. Fast forward a couple years and JKR started having some takes that I very much don't agree with. But I thought, no money is being made off this and anyone reading it is already a fan so I could pick it back up, no harm done. Then she started yelling about her very bad, harmful takes and some other related issues started showing themselves even in her earlier writing that I just couldn't overlook anymore. I no longer own any of these books and as I refuse to support Her Terfness in any way, finishing this series would be difficult for many reasons. I'm not really part of the fandom anymore, so trying to finish it would be a slog both to write and almost certainly to read. I won't delete the story, it seems like some people still enjoy it and I don't want to take that from them. But I'm not finishing it.

If you like my writing style and are into Percy Jackson, I have some fics that are actually finished on my profile, and I've started a new story set in the Stormlight Archives called "Shadow Blessed" if you're into that. Thank you for reading, I really do appreciate it. And sorry for any disappointment this author's note gave you.
