Goodnight and Go

Vi couldn't believe what she had just done, for the first time in years she stood up in front of Caitlyn. She walked passed the guards that once would chase after her if they even saw her and waved. Goodbye suckers. Was all Vi could think of while walking by.

Vi felt hopeful for once but at the same time she felt like a part of her just got ripped out of her. She turned back to look at the one place that was home for a while. She felt bad for what she had done but it was worth it. She had one job now and it was to find Jinx and be happy with her sister for once. After a while of walking Vi stumbled upon a cliff. She decided she had enough walking atleast for now.

She sat on the cliff and looked up at the sky. The stars are pretty bright tonight. I wonder if Jinx is looking at them. I know she liked to watch them before. She paused for a second, then it hit her. Her sister had been missing for so long yet hasn't come to see her. So if she were alive wouldn't she have come looking for her. But then it hit her again, she probably knew she had sided with Caitlyn one last time.

She probably thinks Caitlyn is still on to her and that I'm with Caitlyn right now. Vi's vision went blurry and suddenly water was falling from her eyes. Vi wouldn't admit it but Jinx was dead, she was long gone to begin with. She hated herself for thinking that way but it was true.

Caitlyn was right she wanted to believe that her sister was alive but if she was, Jinx would've already made her big comeback. Stupid gadgets or some stupid explosion. Vi thought to herself, she finally caught herself smiling. What kind of sister was she to be thinking about those kinds of things. Vi laid back on and watched the stars rain.

The stars were bright that night something Vi hadn't seen in a while. Last time she saw them this bright was the night before Jinx died. Then it hit her, Jinx is actually gone huh. She never thought those words would slip out her mind but they did that very night.

I wonder if Cait is looking at the stars, she loves them. Vi caught herself thinking of Caitlyn again and again. Then she remembered what she had done to Caitlyn before she left. She remembered Caitlyn's face full of worry and her eyes watering as if in any moment she would break down in tears. Maybe I was in the wrong for pushing her, she was just trying to help.

Vi knew she couldn't take back what she said and she wouldn't even if she could. She meant every word. The memories of Caitlyn leaving her in that underground tunnel began to come to her mind. The look of hate Caitlyn had that night. She didn't bother to think about Vi and her injury or even the fact that she had pushed Vi so hard she began to cry, she  just wanted to capture her sister. Vi began to realize why she did all of this, Caitlyn hated her sister from the start and Vi couldn't accept that.

But Caitlyn has changed and for the better. I've never seen her act the way she did tonight. The sun began to rise from the corner of Vi's eyes. So much time has passed already. She smiled and remembered the night at the jail cell where it was her and Caitlyn till sunrise. She caught herself smiling again remembering the smell of Caitlyn's hair, the feeling of her skin on hers, and the look in her eyes that night.

Vi couldn't believe it after all this time she truly did love Caitlyn. She had tried before to get over her, hence her whole fighting career. But after last night she didn't think Caitlyn would ever forgive her. That wouldn't stop Vi though, she sat up and began to pick at the flowers on the ground. Making a small flower crown the way her sister would before. She smiled and teared a little making it but got up and began to run back to Caitlyn's.

As she ran back all the memories with Caitlyn began to flood in even the bad ones. Caitlyn was running all over her mind and Vi had realized Caitlyn was her Caitlyn from the start. From the night they met at the jail cell to the night she spent with Caitlyn in the jail cell.

She finally realized she was in love with Caitlyn. By the time she got to Caitlyn's the guards were blocking the entrance.

"Hey! Let me in bastards!" Vi looked at the guards blocking her.

"By orders given from upper hand you are not allowed back in." One of them replied back.

"I was literally just in here. Who ordered to not have me come back?!" Vi was confused and annoyed.

"That information cannot be disclosed." The other guard replied.

"You've got to be kidding me." She ran both her hands in her hair.

She was about to turn back when she remembered she came to get the one thing she cared about. She promised Caitlyn after everything that she would never fight again but this was a matter of life or death for her. She ran and punch both the guards before running through the entrance. She knew that in any moment the whole place would be looking for her so she ran faster than ever.

She ran to the bedroom in which she had left Caitlyn but she wasn't there and the only place she knew Caitlyn would be at was the study room. The second she opened the bedroom door the guards were surrounding her. She jumped over them and began to run again. She ran into the study room shutting and locking the door behind her.

The curtain was wide open and there she was the most beautiful girl Vi could have ever laid her eyes on. Her hair was tied up like the night at the cell.

"Cupcake, did you really think I need all those guards." Vi finally spoke completely out of breath.

Caitlyn turned around hearing a familiar line when she  saw the one person she wanted to see stabding right infront of her. She smiled, a soft smile, the smile that Vi could only see after bed.

"I'm pretty sure I've heard that one before." She said with a smirk.

Vi couldn't help it anymore she wanted Caitlyn all to herself now, in the most selfish way anyone could think of. She ran to Caitlyn jumping into her arms while her arms were wrapped on her neck. She put the flower crown on Caitlyn's head.

"Suits you so well Cait." She said staring at Caitlyn's blue eyes.

"I bet it does" she said smiling at Vi.

The warmth of both their bodies on each other and the warmth of both smiles was all Vi needed. This was her home, this was where she wanted to be from the start. Caitlyn's eyes sparkled like the night in the cell and like the sky.

"You know what else suits you well?" Vi said while holding Caitlyn's face in her hands.

"I wonder what." Caitlyn smiled knowing what was coming next.

"Me." Vi smiled and kissed Caitlyn before she could even reply.

Caitlyn was still holding Vi in her arms as she began to lose a bit of balance. She began to walk backwards to find a place to place both their bodies in. She finally stumbled upon the couch, she sits down on the top of it. Letting Vi sit on her lap. Vi finally pulled from the kiss to look at Caitlyn. She smiled before digging her face in her neck.

"I missed you Cait." She said embarrassed.

"It was only for a little but I missed you too Vi" She hugged Vi never wanting to let go.

Vi pulled away to lock eyes with Caitlyn one more time. She couldn't help but smile she finally had everything she wanted and more.

"It really does suit you." She smiled while touching the crown.

Before Caitlyn could reply Vi pushed them both to the couch. Vi was on top of Caitlyn once again. She began to unbuckle Caitlyn's belt since it was the hardest thing to get off. They both giggled before Vi finally got it, she looked up at Caitlyn one last time before going down.
