Chapter 2
He slid next to Zeus and Allah and grinned at the professor, Dean Winchester leaned against the desk and surveyed the room.
"Alright people lets see what you got. When I call your name you're going to come to the front of the class and use the spell for shield, which is Mister Shurley?"
Chuck blinked and stood,
"Protego sir."
Professor Winchester nodded.
"Come on up, and show us if you can do it."
Chuck walked to the front of the class, faced the professor and yelled,
"Protego!"
A shield exploded in front of him, Dean whistled.
"Impressive. Mister Titan think you can beat that?"
Zeus stood and made a show of cracking his knuckles,
"Oh I know I can professor."
Chuck glared at Zeus who winked as they passed each other.
Thus the class went, practicing in front of the room and with each other. As the class ended Dean called him up to his desk as everyone left.
"I'm not in trouble am I Professor?"
Dean chuckled and shook his head,
"Nah, I just wanted you to know, I except great things from you. Your sister was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone, it seems to run in the family."
Chuck puffed his chest out,
"Thanks sir, but with all due respect I'm going to eclipse my sister."
Dean rose an eyebrow and leaned back in his chair,
"Oh are you? Well I look forward to seeing it. Off you go."
Amara cornered him during transition period.
"I hear your going to "eclipse" me?"
"Yup."
They had an audience now.
She scoffed hands on her hips.
"I look forward to proving you wrong Charles."
"Bring it on Amara."
There was a lot of ooh and aahs. And Chuck made his way to potions where he was out shined yet again by Zeus.
though the professor, Azazel Novak neé Thorn seemed to like him so that was a plus.
He glared at him all the way to Magical Creatures. Where professor Winchester neé Novak was waiting.
He smiled at Chuck,
"Charles, I've heard a lot about you. Tell me what do Hippogriffs like to eat?"
"Rats, mice, and pumpkins professor Winchester."
Castiel smiled and nodded,
"Very good."
The classed passed quickly, soon they were eating lunch when Amara plopped next to him,
"What?"
"Uncle Crowley has sent a message, he's going to be coming to check on us mid-October."
"And I care because?"
"Because of Mother finds were not up to standard she'll pull us out and homeschool us."
Chuck shuddered as Amara nodded,
"Well tell Uncle Crowley we'll be ready by then."
She nodded and quickly scribbled a reply. She looked up to see Hades watching her.
"Can I help you?"
"Your in my spot darling."
"Well can you wait?"
He nodded,
"Anything for you sweetheart."
She glared and then went back to the letter, she pushed it toward him. As he scrawled his signature she leaned toward Hades a sweet smile on her face.
"You're going to have to do better then that handsome."
He smirked,
"Oh my dear I'm just getting started."
Chuck shoved it toward her, she winked at Hades who followed her figure as she walked away.
Chuck rolled his eyes,
"Can you not do that when your in front of me?"
Hades blinked and looked at him,
"Huh?"
"Stop eye-fucking my sister."
Hades smirked and nodded.
"Noted, won't do it when you're here."
Chuck inwardly groaned.
"Not the point."
He ignored Zeus's smirk and instead buried his face in his arms. Thinking instead of what types of treats to give Luci later in the week.
He had decided on something salty when a tap on his shoulder made him turn,
"Hi! I'm Isis, from the greatest house ever — Hufflepuff! I wanted to know if you are signing up for any of the clubs around Hogwarts today? If you haven't committed to anything, might I suggest the Writing Club?"
