*Manon pov*
What is taking her so long?
I've been waiting outside for a while, and Sophia should have come out by now. I signal to Megan, and walk towards the fitting rooms.
But instead of a smiling Sophia, there's only a pile of clothes that she was trying on in the hallway. I panic. I rush to look inside the fitting rooms, but she's nowhere to be found.
She's gone. Did she really want to leave that bad?
Is that why she was acting so suspicious? I look around to check for any clues, but there's no sign of struggle. I turn to notify Lara and Megan of the situation, but am stopped by a little flash by the back door.
I walk towards it and my heart drops to my stomach. The pendant. The pendant that I gave her.
She's here for revenge. Revenge for leaving her. And now Sophia's caught up in the crossfire.
Now her life lies in the hands of one the most powerful women Los Angeles.

*Author pov*
The unknown woman watches through cameras at the unconscious Sophia lying tied up on the cold, wet floor. She smiles at the sight.
The time has come. She'll finally get her revenge.
Just when she thinks of shocking Sophia awake, she stirs and slowly opens her eyes. She wonders what happened as she tries to get a good look at her surroundings. It's dark.
She tries to call out for someone, but it's muffled by a cloth that's been placed inside her mouth. The more she moves the more she realizes how wet the floor is and how screwed she is.
She tugs on her ropes in an attempt to loosen them, but just then footsteps sound from somewhere. The lights switch on, and Sophia squints her eyes as she adjust to the sudden brightness.
When she's gotten used to the light, she sees a pair of black and white converse in from of her. She tries to look up to see who it is, but because of her tied up state, she can't move an inch.
"You're the one she chose?"
The unknown woman says disgusted.
"You're not even prettier than me."
The woman's words are meant to hurt Sophia, but Sophia finds it hard to get angry when the woman's voice sounds like an angel. It's hard but she manages to come back to her senses.
She's been kidnapped by this woman. Judging by what the woman just said, she's targeting someone else and using her to get to that person.
Sophia makes a few noises to try and make the woman remove her gag. And the woman does. She removes the gag, and Sophia instantly starts asking questions.
"Who are you? Why did you kidnap me? And what do you mean someone chose me?"
"I'm gonna stop you right there. You don't even know who I am? And you're supposed to be my replacement?"
"How do you expect me to see who you are while I'm lying down here?"
"Fair point."
The woman puts Sophia in a sitting position, and looks straight into her eyes.
"Recognize me now?"
"No. But how do you know I'm marrying Manon?"
She laughs. Never before has she met someone so entertaining.
"Everyone who knows Katseye knows you are marrying Manon. Even their enemies. They just can't find you, but I've got connections."
Sophia thought over what the woman said. If this woman was able to find her, she had to have known her exact whereabouts. That means someone told her where she was.
Sophia went over the options. It probably wouldn't be Yoonchae, or Lara, or Megan. Definitely not Manon. Daniela? No. There's no reason for her to tip me off... Right?
The woman takes something out of her back pocket, and holds it up in Sophia's face. It's a knife. A very sharp knife. She twists and turns the knife in her hand, and gives Sophia a dark look.
"What are you going to do me?"
Sophia asks in a small voice. She stares at the knife, her imagination running wild with all the possibilities.
The woman smiles, and runs the knife over Sophia's arm. Just a little more pressure, and it would draw blood.
"I'm going to ruin you so that Manon will never want to look at you again. Not your face, but your body. After all, without your body there's not a lot to you."
Sophia starts shaking uncontrollably. She feels the quick beating of her heart in her throat, and swallows.
"Wh-who are you?" She whispers.
The woman smiles, and grabs Sophia's chin tightly. She brings her lips to Sophia's ear and tells her in a stern tone before dragging Sophia to a bed.
"I'm Huh Yunjin. The woman you'll wish you never met."

Meanwhile in the Katseye headquarters, the girls are going crazy looking for Sophia. Especially Manon. She has been trying to track down where Yunjin is keeping Sophia ever since she arrived at headquarters.
Manon is currently in her room behind her laptop looking at the map of Los Angeles. Yunjin's domain doesn't go beyond LA, so she's probably still here. Manon sees ten possible warehouses, and calls Daniela to order the soldiers to search the warehouses one by one.
After Manon hangs up she closes her laptop and lies down on her bed. She's so tired, and so worried. Over the course of these few days she has grown attached to Sophia her smile, her fighting spirit, and her presence.
Manon closes her eyes and thinks about Sophia and what Yunjin could be putting her through. Yunjin has had it out for Manon ever since Manon left. But Manon didn't have a choice.
Before Yunjin only went after the bad guys alongside Katseye as the hacker, but after a while she got greedy for power and went after innocent people to boost her ranking in the criminal world.
Manon instantly lost all her feelings after she found out what Yunjin had been doing behind her back and left, which Yunjin has never forgiven her for.
But how did she expect her to stay when she did something so cruel and despicable? Manon swallowed the lump in her throat that formed at the thought of what could have happened to Sophia in these few hours. She prays Sophia makes it out alive.

Two days later
Location: Manon's room
Manon has not eaten for days while working hard to find Sophia. All of the warehouses she found and sent soldiers to were either empty, or occupied by another gang.
Manon is losing her mind and sleep because of her worry. Two days and not a single trace has been found. 'Where could Yunjin possibly hide?' she thinks.
Manon racks her brain with possible locations but her train of thought is interrupted by a firm nock on her door. She walks towards it and opens it. As soon as Manon opens her door, Daniela instantly walks past her and into Manon's room.
She sits down on the bed with an apologetic look on her face. Manon doesn't like it already. Whatever Daniela did, has to be something terrible because Daniela rarely comes to Manon to apologize.
Daniela sighs, and confesses what has been bothering her for a long time.
"It was me."
"What do you mean?"
Manon asks, even though she already has an idea of what Daniela might be talking about.
"I was the one that tipped off Yunjin about Sophia's location."
