Location: abandoned warehouse in downtown LA
*Sophia pov*
This is weird. Boss sent me on a mission in the US to meet someone who says they have crucial information for the gang's upcoming operation.
But not once have they responded to my texts until tonight, when they asked to meet me at this abandoned warehouse.
I know this is probably a trap, so I have my glock ready in the strap under my skirt. I cautiously open the door, and slowly walk in.
To say I am shocked would be an understatement. The interior of the building is not even close to the exterior.
While the outside is old, the inside is modern and adorned with luxurious furniture. On the couch in the middle, there is a ginger girl seated.
She looks up from her phone and smiles at me.
"Amelia?"
Amelia is the alias I gave to the anonymous information source.
"Yes. And you are..."
"That's not what's important right now. Have a seat."
The girl gestures to the sofa chair next to her. I walk up to her and take a seat. The girl picks up the kettle from the coffee table in front of her, and pours some tea in two cups. She picks up a cup and hands it to me.
I'm a little sceptical at first, but my suspicions are pit at ease when the girl takes a big gulp of her tea. I bring the cup to my mouth, and take a small sip. I put down the cup, and take out my laptop.
"So, shall we get to business?"
The girl chuckles.
"I'm sorry Sophia, but I'm afraid there will be no business going down tonight."
"What? Who is Sophia?"
"Don't play dumb. There is a reason you're here tonight."
"I'm leaving."
"No you're not."
I pack up my laptop and stand up to leave, but am quickly stopped when a wave of dizziness washes over me. Shit. I've been drugged.
"Like I said, you're not leaving." The girl says before everything turns dark and I collapse into the chair.

*Author pov*
Megan sighs and tries to pick up Sophia, but because of the bulletproof vest she's wearing underneath, she's heavier than Megan can carry.
She struggles for a while, until she's done with trying.
"Aren't you going to help a sister out here?!"
Lara comes out from the shadows giggling.
"I'm sorry it's just..."
She bursts out in laughter again.
"It's just so funny. You can't even lift her while she's so light."
Megan sends a glare Lara's way.
"Why don't you try then?!"
And she storms away after saying that. Lara continues laughing, and picks up Sophia with ease. She walks up the stairs and into the guest room prepared for Sophia.
It has titanium bars on the windows, and the door to the balcony can only be opened by Manon or Yoonchae.
She puts Sophia down on the bed, and ties her hands and feet to the bedpost with thick rope. She sighs.
"It's a shame you're the enemy."
She mutters, before leaving the room and locking the door. When the lock is turned, Sophia her eyes shoot open and she loosens the ropes easily, as she's done this a hundred times before.
She grabs her glock from under her skirt, laughing at the girls their stupidity. She briefly wonders how they didn't notice it.
While Sophia was checking her surroundings, Manon was walking up the stairs to check on her after Lara confirmed her capture.
Sophia hears the footsteps, and stands behind the door with her glock ready in her hand. Manon unlocks the door, and opens it.
She looks at the bed where Lara said Sophia would be, and is not surprised to see it empty. She closes the door without looking, and Sophia presses her gun to the back of Manon's head.
"Turn around. Slowly."
Manon turns around and looks at the daring girl. She checks out her curves, and the way she squirmes subtly under her gaze.
"Shoot me." Manon says.
"Y-You think I won't?"
"I know you will. So go ahead, shoot me."
Sophia hesitates at first, but then presses the trigger. But instead of hearing a bang a clicking sound comes out. The magazine is empty. Manon laughs, and takes the gun out of Sophia's hand.
"Do you really think we would leave you in here with a loaded gun? We're not stupid."
Sophia is speechless. She looks at the gun and then back to Manon. Manon takes a step forward, and she takes a step back. The mini chase continues until Sophia her back comes in contact with the wall.
"Wh-who are you?"
Sophia asks frightened.
Manon takes another step and puts her hands on both sides of Sophia's head.
"Someone you shouldn't kill. Not that you can, with those poor shooting skills. Your boss sends you out without being able to fight, like they want you to be helpless for me."
"For you? What are you talking about? I'm not here for you."
Manon chuckles.
"You really don't know who I am and why you're here, huh?"
Sophia looks into the unknown girl's eyes and wonders what she's talking about. Judging by the aura she's giving off, she must be someone with an important position in this gang.
"Why am I here then, according to you?"
She asks as curiosity got the best of her.
"You're here to get married. To me. I'm Manon. It's nice to meet you babe."
Manon puts her index finger under Sophia's chin, and lifts up her head to place a soft kiss on the stunned girl's forehead.
"See you tomorrow at breakfast. Babe."
Manon says before leaving the room and locking the door.
Sophia slides onto the floor against the wall, contemplating what her next move should be. There's no way her boss would marry her off without getting her consent first...right?
And who is Manon? She's never heard of her before, so this can't be from a powerful gang. And she hates to admit it but... Manon is beautiful. The urge to grab her waist and pin her to the wall was big.
But that's not what's important right now.
Sophia gets up off the floor, and gets ready for bed with the clothes and toiletries that have been put in the room beforehand.
That evening, she doesn't sleep well. She can't afford to sleep while there might be a chance for escape.
She will escape.
