I fall for the first time

telling others i’m ok, I get up trembling

I fall again

others trying to help me but i don’t let them

I keep falling, shaking more and more each time

as i keep denying their efforts to help me

I fall one last time-

this time with no one around to offer me help and this time i don’t get up.
