Married??

As Bakugo looked through his flashcards-he was studying for finals- his sister toga barges in. She was crying. Why was she crying? Bakugo looked at the girl with utter confusion. “Toga, what's wrong cmon why are you crying?” the blonde said with genuine concern. Bakugo sat up in his bed and Toga sat next to him. “She's getting married, can you believe it? She wants me to be the maid of honor” Toga said sadly, looking at her knees. Bakugo was even more confused. “Wait Toga what the hell are you talking about?” Bakugo said, looking at her. Toga looked back at him. “Have you not checked your phone?”

Bakugo hurriedly graded his phone and saw four missed calls from Uraraka, his best friend. His eyes widened “Toga who the fuck is getting married?” he basically spat at her. Togas eyes that had once dried while talking to Bakugou welled with tears again. Bakugo called Uraraka back and she answered on the first ring. “Who the hell is getting married?” he said angrily.

“Bakugo i have no choice, my parents found a rich family willing to marry.” the brunette said sadly looking down. She had a frown on her face that Bakugo couldn't see but he could definitely hear. Bakugo was pissed but also upset. Not for himself but for Himko and Uraraka. He knew Uraraka wouldn't want to get married yet. Let alone to a man. He also knew Himko just happened to be in love with Uraraka.

“Come over” Bakugo said sternly

“We have school, I can't skip class” Uraraka said, being the good girl she was.

“I dont give a shit get over here” Bakugo argued, it went back and forth like this for a few minutes before she agreed. It wouldn't be a big deal considering his parents weren't home.

By the time they were all together the three of them sat in Bakugos bedroom. It was a while before anyone said anything about the marriage. It was quiet and the air was tense. Finally Toga spoke up.

“So do you know who you're marrying?” she asked sadly looking at the other girl who was sitting on the floor across from her.

“Um yeah, his name is Izuku Midoriya, he is a senior in highschool. I am meeting him in may.” the girl explained looking at the floor below her. “I have a picture hold on” she fumbled for her phone before showing a photo of the boy. He was about average height, from what they could tell. He had dark green hair and sparkling green eyes. Bakugo felt his face heat up a bit but looked away before anyone noticed.

He couldn't believe what he was thinking. Why was he blushing at him? This is the boy your best friend would be marrying. Not that she had a choice. “At least they picked a half good looking one” Bakugo laughed a bit as he said it. It eased up the mood a little bit as the girls laughed a bit and agreed.

After a few hours the hangout came to an end as Bakugo and Togas parents would be home soon. Toga went back to her bedroom and Uraraka drove herself home. As Bakugo sat in his bedroom he wondered what the green hair boy would be like. Bakugo wasn't sure when but he knew he would meet the boy eventually. Probably at the wedding. He wondered if the boy was excited to meet Uraraka. He decided he probably wasn't. He knew the boy was rich, like loaded. He went to a private prodigious school and was probably a snob. He wondered why he would be forced to marry a poor girl. He hated to describe Uraraka like that but it was true.
He didn't like referring to him as the boy, but he couldn't remember his name for the life of him. He thought hard. He knew it ended with a U. Maybe Deku? Yeah that sounded right to him. What a weird name. Who the hell names their kid Deku? He laughed a little.
He suddenly heard his phone ding. It was Uraraka, “hey would you wanna come meet Midorya with me and Uraraka. We're meeting in a week” Bakugo was shocked at the invite but figured it made sense not for her to meet him alone. What if he was a psycho? He was definitely a cute one. Wait, what was he thinking? That's not your fiance! He quickly shot back a text just saying sure. God he had to stop thinking like that. As much as he wanted to stop he couldn't help. The boy was really cute. He knew it wouldn't turn into anything besides acknowledging he was attractive.

That's all Bakugos ‘Crushes’ ever were. He never felt a true spark or connection with anyone. Was there something wrong with him? Maybe but he decided that was ok. He wasn't meant to love anyone or be loved. He has a pretty fiery personality so honestly it was expected. Love just wasn't in the cards for him. He wished it could have been for Toga. He felt insanely bad for her. She had been in love with Uraraka since they were 14. I guess that's just something she would have to learn to deal with, he hated to say that but what else was there to say?
As Bakugo was lost in his thoughts Toga was lost in her tears about losing the love of her life. Maybe if she had confessed things would be different. I guess she would never know.

Toga was adopted by the Bakugos at the age of six. Her parents abandoned her when she was only four years old. Bakugo hadn't originally wanted a sibling but he learned to love her. So much he didn't see her as adopted. If anyone asked they were blood related. They looked enough alike for it to pass.
Toga had some weird interests, she was fascinated by true crime and murders. She wouldn't hurt a fly but she loved to know what could drive a person to do that. She was often made fun of for it. This is when Bakugo would stand up for her but he wasn't always around and she hated to bother him. Weirdly enough that's how they met Uraraka.
They had known of her since she moved to their school when they were all 9 but they had never talked. One day Bakugo, Toga and Uraraka were all paired for a project at age 12 they seemed to click. Uraraka could break through Bakugos rough personality and she didn't seem to be scared of Togas interest. She didn't think it was weird either. She listened intently and gave her opinions on why someone might do those things.
As they grew older Bakugo had become quite the popular boy with his good looks and all but he didn't care for popularity. He had his occasional fling like most teenagers do but he didnt love any of them. How could he? All they wanted was his looks? That's no way for love.
