Navie J.
A slight breeze trickles in from her cracked window, flicking against her face in an attempt to wake her up. It’s only when a large chill runs through her body that she decides to actually roll out of bed. Navie grabs the earplugs off her nightstand and pops them in her ears. One of the things that came with being possessed is a mixup in senses. Everything got louder and everything got darker. Wiping the sleep from her eyes and stretching, she takes out the things she needs for the day. The same items as always, her suit, her backpack, and her music player. A few years ago, some sort of ghostly possession happened to her. Since then, she’s gained odd powers, and after an incident or two she became a sort of vigilante. Using those powers to help those who need it and exerting some of that weird ghost energy. She’s donned the identity of ‘Enigma’. Apparently, with her build and the ghostly stuff doing things to her voice, people think she’s a guy, and that’s fine with her. She doesn’t want to risk her personal life for this escapade. After setting those things out, she makes her way over to the bathroom. They rise from their spots on the bed, floating behind her with a purplish glow. The sink squeaks on, releasing water for her to wash her face, brush her teeth, and fix her hair. Once she finishes her routine, she slips on her suit, then a pair of sweatpants, a jacket, and a beaten pair of sneakers. The weather’s been getting colder, and the homemade suit isn’t entirely warm. Putting on her backpack, she sneaks through the rest of the house.
After the whole possession thingy, her life started to slip even more than it was before. Her parents made the decision to send her to live with her grandma, figuring a fresh start in the city would be the best for her. Honestly, they weren’t completely wrong. Her grades have gotten better, and she’s taken on more responsibility. One of them being taking care of her grandma. She makes her way to the kitchen, grabbing a small pastry for herself and setting apart a prepped meal for her grandma to eat when she wakes up. To her grandma’s knowledge, Navie is waking up early to catch the train to school in central. That’s all Navie wants her to know. She doesn’t want her grandma getting caught up in whatever she’s doing. Even if her identity is hidden, you never know what could happen. She picks up a few things off the floor and puts them away, making one final glimpse around before she slips out the door
