Chapter 3
Lloyd was walking towards the kitchen. It was a day off for him too so he just got up of his nap. Since his stomach was hungry he decided to steal a snack, hoping that Zane wouldn’t caught him.
That was supposed to be the plan. Very simple. Got up, hungry, so eat.
But when he walked in front of Cole’s door, he stopped.
His eyes widened when he heard what was happening inside. Even though the voice were muffled he could obviously recognize Nya and Cole’s voices.
- Will you be my girlfriend ?
- I would like that
Then Lloyd heard to two of them chuckled and hug each other.
Lloyd didn’t like to eavesdrop but he just caught his two friends being in love with each other ???
He speeds up and walked towards the kitchen hoping that none of them had seen him.
He sat on the couch, completely forgetting about the first purpose : eat.
He always always knew that Cole and Nya were close.
And absolutely everyone on the team made assumptions about the two of them dating but they never had the guts to ask. But now he couldn’t be wrong, Cole just asked Nya to date him and she said yes.
He wondered if Kai knew..
He let his thoughts wandered and closed his eyes.
When he opened them, the smell of Zane’s cooking was the first thing he noticed.
He got up and he saw Zane and Pixal cooking together and quietly talking. He smiled and took out some plates and put them on the table.
When dinner was ready, Zane called everyone.
Jay and Kai came practically running, totally starving after a long day
When they sat, Zane raised an eyebrow
- Where is Cole and Nya ?
Kai, who’s mouth were full, answered
- Ah yes, they were going out and they don’t eat here
The water from Lloyd’s glass got stuck into his throat and he choked
They already went on dates ? They’re fast
Obviously everyone around the table noticed him and locked theirs eyes on him
- There is something that you want to share with the class Lloyd ?
Jay had a smirk on his face but the blond knew that it was a real question
- Nope. Everything’s fine.
Kai leaned over him
- C’mon greenie.. if you know something about my sister I need to know
Lloyd let out a sigh
- Don’t tell anyone please, I’m not supposed to know but..
he hesitated, everyone was looking at him. But Kai got a point, they deserve to know right ? They’re family..
- They’re dating.
Pixal’s fork fell off her hand, Kai eyes widened ever harder and Jay let out a little scream of joy
Zane didn’t move.
Kai took Lloyd by his shoulders and started to shake him
- They are what ?? Nya didn’t tell me anything !!!
The end of the dinner was on this topic. Well Kai, Jay and Lloyd were the only one talking. Zane and Pixal didn’t say anything.
This night it was Lloyd’s turn to do the dishes so when everyone got up of theirs seats, he began washing the plates. when he took the glasses, he noticed something weird
Zane’s glass was totally frozen.
It wasn’t like that before because Lloyd was the one that set the table. So this happened during the dinner.
He thought to himself that he would have to ask about it to Zane
