"You didn't know her like I did."
Cecilia stood still, the wind whipping at her dress and hair with rain rapidly falling alongside it. She stood still as if she was a robot left dormant for years, maybe even centuries having nothing but sorrow etched to its expression. Dull eyes were fixed to what lay infront and below the woman to any onlooker, however to this woman, she felt as if she was looking into a dream, nothing but a horrible fake future of her mind's doing.
Clutching a parasol tightly while she refocused on what lay before her, Cecilia refused to believe it was true but the events of that night remain fresh in her mind.
It was a headstone, a new one at that.
Just an upright slab of granite stood just a few feet before her own.
To her, it felt as if it had an radiant glow, providing light in the dusk and gloom of the graveyard and even a Light into her life she wishes to keep by her side forever.
Etched into its material was a simpler three lines of text.

"Wished for a brighter future on all of Hollow Drive"
The silence that persisted around Cecilia felt crushing, overwhelming to the point of collapsing yet she never moved a muscle, staring at those words with the same sorrow, her mind running laps as her mouth opened.
"After we lost you... we couldn't keep going.. Raora and I couldn't bear it."
A sigh escapes her mouth as she remains afixed to the headstone.
"We decided to disband for good, that light you brought to us feels dull but I believe it is still there."
She took a hesitant step forward, her free hand extending as it rested in the top of the stone, patting it gently as she prepared to her leave turning gently with each footfall squishing and splashing against the damp grass and mud, wind still strong and rain still pouring at the same pace during her arrival.
A final glance of sorrow was given over her shoulder, a small smile tugging at her lips as she left the yard.
Despite everything that happened on that night
Despite everything that happened between us
I'm still glad I met you Gigi.
Rest well.
