Chapter 88
Hancock was following Luffy around the beach of the Island both The Strawhat Pirates and The Kuja Pirates somehow managed to both be on at the same time, as Luffy and Usoop looked for seashells. The sun kissed the horizon, casting a warm glow over the sand and the waves gently kissing the shore.
Hancock was admiring Luffy's carefree attitude and the way the sunlight danced in her eyes, making them sparkle like the ocean. And Hancock felt her cheeks heat up even more every time she looked at Luffy’s outfit. It’s was a completely unbutton red button-up long-sleeve shirt, with nothing but a red Bikini top it, with ripped jeans short shorts with frayed edges and the strawhat Pirates Jolly Roger embroidered on the pockets, and her iconic straw hat with a red hatband, and sandals.
It’s not much different from what she was wearing when they met two years ago, everything is the exact same, but for some reason, it just looks so much cuter on her now!
But Suddenly Luffy’s entire demeanor shifted, snapping her out of her thoughts. Luffy’s demeanor shifted from carefree as she looked for seashells too pure unadulterated excitement. “LOOK, USOPP! IT’S TRAFFY’S SUBMARINE!” Luffy yelled, jumping up and down and shaking Usopp slightly.
“Law? What’s Law doing here? I didn’t think we’d end up running into the heart pirate so soon again after Wano.” Usopp muttered, squinting at the emerging submarine.
The sight of the Polar Tang brought a mix of emotions to the surface. Luffy couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement, knowing that Law was on board. Hancock, on the other hand, was not as thrilled. Of course there had to be more people to interrupt her time with Luffy, she thought, crossing her arms over her chest. Her eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the submarine. She stepped closer to Luffy, not wanting to leave her side.
But Luffy was off in a flash, the submarine hadn't even stopped moving before she was already running off, and jumping onto the deck of the submarine as it rose above the water. "TRAFFY!” She yelled, preaching herself on the railing of the Polar Tang, waiting for the doors of the submarine to open. “TRAFFY! TRAFFY! TRAFFY!”
The Heart Pirates looked out from the windows, surprised to see Luffy. Penguin, the second in command, was the first to react, "Hey, Captain! Look who's here!"
The Polar Tang's doors slid open with a hiss, and Law emerged from the depths of the submarine, his fur hat casting a shadow over his face. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of Luffy, "Well, if it isn't the rubber girl herself. To what do we owe this pleasure?"
Luffy's excitement didn't waver, "We're just chilling on this island! It's so cool, Traffy! And look, I found some amazing seashells!" She held out her hand, displaying a small collection of shells to Law.
Law's smile grew wider, his eyes sparkling with amusement at her unbridled enthusiasm. "Indeed, they are quite the treasure," he said, taking one of the shells from her hand and examining it. "But I'm surprised to see you here. I thought you'd be off on another wild adventure."
Luffy huffed, leaning back slightly, her hands gripping the railing of the polar tang so she doesn’t fall off. “We are waiting for our log pose to reset and get the next island's coordinates. The islander said it would take a week for a log pose to work again.”
Hancock watched as Luffy and Law exchanged pleasantries, feeling a slight pang of jealousy. She had hoped to have Luffy all to herself, but it seemed fate had other plans. And Hancock’s heart nearly stopped in her chest as she saw Law take a few steps closer to Luffy, practically standing, no he is standing in between her legs, as Luffy sits on the railing of the submarine, his head tilting to the side slightly, his eyes seemingly sparkling with something other than amusement as he listen to Luffy ramble on and on and on and on and on. Not caring that Law was standing in between her legs, nor that their crotches were just an inch apart.
Hancock's eyes narrowed even more as she watched Law interact with Luffy. She didn't trust men, and the way he was standing so casually between her legs, so close to her, set her on edge. One of Law's hands landed on one of Luffy’s knees to rest there, and for a moment, Hancock's vision blurred with anger. But she took a deep breath and reminded herself that Luffy didn’t see men in that way. (Or so she thought)
Law caught Hancock’s eye, his smirk growing wide, and he winked at her before turning his attention back to Luffy and leaning closer to her.
Luffy bit her lip as her eyes stayed locked with his. Setting the shelves aside she one of her hands going up to grasp the back of his neck, pulling him down for a passionate kiss. His other hand slid around her waist, pressing their bodies closer together. While on the beach, the Strawhat Pirates and the Heart Pirates acted like nothing out of the ordinary was happening as if both separate crews had seen this exact scene happen a hundred times before. But for the Kuja Pirates, it was a sight that was as ludacris as a man landing on their island.
Hancock's eyes widened in shock as she saw Luffy pull Law in for a kiss. She had never seen Luffy act this way before, especially with a man. She felt a mix of confusion and anger boiling inside her, unsure of what to make of this sudden display of affection. The scene unfolded as if in slow motion, and she could hear the blood rushing in her ears. She clenched her fists at her sides, her nails digging into her palms.
“Luffy! What are you doing?!” Hancock’s voice pierced through the air, a blend of shock and anger. She stomped closer to the submarine, her eyes not leaving the intimate scene playing out in front of her.
Both Luffy and Law jumped at Hancock’s voice, and Law accidentally bit down on Luffy’s tongue, causing her to flinch and pull back. “FUCK! You bit my tongue!” She exclaimed, holding her mouth. Law’s face was a mix of shock and amusement, his hand quickly going to cover his mouth to hide his laugh.
“Hancock?” Luffy asked, her eyes filled with with confusion as she looked down at the woman standing on the beach. “What’s wrong?” She asked, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
Hancock’s face was a mix of shock and betrayal, “What do you mean, what’s wrong? You’re kissing a man, and not just any man, but him!” She pointed at Law, who had the audacity to wink at her again, “Get down from there, Luffy! Now!”
Luffy frowned, and very bluntly said. “No.”
Hancock was taken aback by the bluntness of her reply, “What do you mean 'no'? Get down from there this instant, Luffy! He’s a man, and a dangerous one at that!”
“No.” Luffy repeated again, more snappy and irritated this time.
Hancock's eyes narrowed, her voice rising with each word she spoke. "You don't understand, Luffy. He's not like the others. He's a pirate, just like you, but his heart is cold, colder than the ice that flows in his veins!"
Luffy huffed, starting to look visibly annoyed. She hooked one of her legs around Law’s waist, yanking him closer her. “Are you going to be cold hearted and betray, or hurt me, my dear Surgeon Of Death?” She asked him, leaning close to him, so close The tips of their noses almost touched.
Law chuckled, wrapping his arms around her neck lazy. “As if I could ever do such a thing to you, Luffy.” He leaned in and whispered against her ear, “You’re my heart’s beat, after all.”
The tension between the two pirates was thick, their closeness seemingly unbearable for Hancock to watch. She clenched her fists, her eyes burning with a mix of anger and despair. The Kuja Pirates looked on in astonishment, unsure how to react to the unfolding drama. Meanwhile, the Heart Pirates remained unfazed, having seen this dynamic play out before. Penguin and Bepo exchanged a knowing look, while Shachi tried to stifle a smirk.
"Luffy, you can't be serious!" Hancock exclaimed, her voice trembling. "He's not like your precious crew. He's a heartless pirate! And you can’t trust a man you barely know!"
Luffy pulled back from Law’s embrace slightly, her expression a mix of confusion and annoyance. “Barely know? What are you talking about, Hancock? I’ve known Law and the rest of the heart Pirates since I was 15. I know him and his crew like I know the back of my own hand.”
Hancock’s eyes narrowed, and she stepped closer to the couple. "But you can't be so naive, Luffy. He's using you!" she shouted, her voice echoing across the beach.
“Well, fuck it if he is!” Luffy suddenly yelled, her patient snapping like a rubber band. “So be it if he’s using me! Because if he is, he’s being really fucking sexy as he does so and bringing me a lot of fucking pleasure!”
The Kuja pirates gawked at Luffy’s sudden outburst, some of them even dropping their jaws to the sand.
Hancock's eyes widened in disbelief and cheeks flushed scarlet, and she balled her fists at her sides, the sand sticking to her sweat-drenched palms. "How can you be so... so...!" she sputtered, at a loss for words as she tried to convey her frustration. “Pleasure? D-don’t tell me you two are…” she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.
“Oh, we’re fuckin’.” Luffy said, making the statement as blunt as she. “We’re fucking, we fuck. Yes, Me and Law are fucking each other for the past 2 years.”
The beach was silent for a moment, the only sound being the waves gently lapping at the shore. The Heart Pirates looked on with amusement, while the Strawhat Pirates couldn’t help but chuckle at their captain’s unfiltered honesty. Sanji coughed awkwardly, trying to hide his embarrassment, while Nami’s eyebrow twitched in annoyance.
Law leaned back into Luffy’s arms, his usual smug expression replaced by one of slight surprise and a hint of amusement. “Well, when you put it that way, I suppose we are.” His voice was calm, as if discussing the weather rather than their intimate relationship.
Hancock's eyes widened, her cheeks flaming with rage. "What?!" she screeched, her voice echoing across the beach. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. The very thought of Luffy, her beloved, sharing such moments with another pirate, especially one like Law, filled her with a fury she hadn’t felt in a long time.
Luffy ignored her, rolling her eyes as she hopped down from the railing, one of her hands on Law’s just as she gently pushed him backwards as she walked forward towards the door of the submarine, and Law followed the motion without a second of hesitation. “You know, since everyone now knows we’re FUCKING why don’t we go down to your captains quarters and FUCK!” She said, emphasizing the worlds “Fucking” and “Fuck.” “We can make a baby or something.” Was the last thing everyone heard Luffy say before the submarine door closed behind them with a hiss and a click, locking Luffy and Law inside and everyone else outside.
Sanji’s jaw dropped to the floor, and his cheeks turned a deep shade of red. Nami smacked her palm against her forehead, muttering something about Luffy’s lack of boundaries. Chopper giggled nervously, while Zoro just sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.
The Heart Pirates looked at each other, trying to hold back their laughter. Penguin was the first to break, snorting out a chuckle that quickly turned into a full-blown laugh. Shachi and Bepo followed suit, their expressions a mix of shock and amusement at Luffy’s candidness.
Hancock's eyes widened, her fists clenching as she watched the submarine door seal shut. "W-What did she just say?" she stuttered, unable to process the bluntness of Luffy's words.
“Apparently, they’re gonna make a baby.” Ikkaku spoke up, her voice thick with sarcasm as she watched the submarine door’s various locks and gears hiss and clank into place.
