Chapter 33

Hancock was following Luffy around the beach of the Island both The Strawhat Pirates and The Kuja Pirates somehow managed to both be on at the same time, as Luffy and Usoop looked for seashells. The sun kissed the horizon, casting a warm glow over the sand and the waves gently kissing the shore.

Hancock was admiring Luffy's carefree attitude and the way the sunlight danced in her eyes, making them sparkle like the ocean. And Hancock felt his cheeks heat up even more every time he looked at Luffy’s outfit. It’s was a completely unbutton red button-up long-sleeve shirt, with nothing but a red lace bra underneath it, with ripped jeans short shorts with frayed edges and the strawhat Pirates Jolly Roger embroidered on the pockets, and her iconic straw hat with a red hatband, and sandals.

It’s not much different from what she was wearing when they met two years ago, everything is the exact same, but for some reason, it just looks so much sexier on her now!

But Suddenly Luffy’s entire demeanor shifted, snapping him out of his thoughts. Luffy’s demeanor shifted from carefree as she looked for seashells too pure unadulterated excitement. “LOOK, USOPP! IT’S TRAFFY’S SUBMARINE!” Luffy yelled, jumping up and down and shaking Usopp slightly.

“Law? What’s Law doing here? I didn’t think we’d end up running into the heart pirate so soon again after Wano.” Usopp muttered, squinting at the emerging submarine.

The sight of the Polar Tang brought a mix of emotions to the surface. Luffy couldn’t help but feel a rush of excitement, knowing that Law was on board. Hancock, on the other hand, was not as thrilled. Of course there had to be more people to interrupt his time with Luffy. His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the submarine. He stepped closer to Luffy, not wanting to leave her side.

But Luffy was off in a flash, the submarine hasn’t even stopped moving before she was already running off, and jumping onto the deck of the submarine as it rose above the water. "TRAFFY!” She yelled, preaching herself on the railing of the Poler Tang, waiting for the doors of the submarine to open. “TRAFFY! TRAFFY! TRAFFY!”

The Heart Pirates looked out from the windows, surprised to see Luffy. Penguin, the second in command, was the first to react, "Hey, Captain! Look who's here!"

The Polar Tang's doors slid open with a hiss, and Law emerged from the depths of the submarine, his fur hat casting a shadow over his face. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of Luffy, "Well, if it isn't the rubber girl herself. To what do we owe this pleasure?"

Luffy's excitement didn't waver, "We're just chilling on this island! It's so cool, Traffy! And look, I found some amazing seashells!" She held out her hand, displaying a small collection of shells to Law.

Law's smile grew wider, his eyes sparkling with amusement at her unbridled enthusiasm. "Indeed, they are quite the treasure," he said, taking one of the shells from her hand and examining it. "But I'm surprised to see you here. I thought you'd be off on another wild adventure."

Luffy huffed, leaning back slightly, her hands gripping the railing of the polar tang so she doesn’t fall off. “We are waiting for our log pose to reset and get the next islands coordinates. The islander said it would take a week for a log pose to work again.”

Hancock watched from the beach as Luffy's excitement bubbled over, a slight twinge of jealousy stinging him as she eagerly greeted the Heart Pirates. He didn't know why, but seeing her with Law stirred something in him. It was a feeling he hadn't experienced before, and he wasn't sure he liked it. The Kuja Pirates, who had been watching from a distance, began to murmur among themselves, their curiosity piqued by the sudden appearance of the yellow submarine.

And Hancock’s heart nearly stopped in his chest as he saw Law take a few steps closer to Luffy, practically standing, no he is standing in between her legs, as Luffy sits on the railing of the submarine, his head tilting to the side slightly, his eyes seemingly sparkling with something other than amusement as he listen to Luffy ramble on and on and on and on and on. Not caring that law was standing in between her legs, nor that their crotches were just a inche apart.

Hancock's grip on the shells he was holding tightened as he watched Luffy and Law interact, their laughter carrying over to the shore. One of Law's hands landed on one of Luffy’s knees to rest there, and for a moment, Hancock's vision blurred with anger. He knew Luffy wasn't interested in Law in that way, but the sight of another man touching her so casually was more than he could bear. The whispers among the Kuja Pirates grew louder, and Hancock's sisters, Boa Sandersonia and Boa Marigold, exchanged knowing glances.

Law caught his Hancock’s eye, his smirk growing wide, and he winked at him before leaning closer to Luffy and whispering something to her that she could only hear.

Luffy bit her lip curiously as she listen, and nodded along.

Hancock’s eyes narrowed, his jaw tightening as he watched Law whisper something into Luffy’s ear. What could that smug bastard be saying to her?

Hancock didn’t have to wait for long because after what felt like an eternity, really it was like three minutes, Law pulled away Luffy, and took a step back.

Luffy didn’t hesitate to hop down from the railing she was sitting on, and scurry inside The Polar Tang, Law following closely behind, the submarines door closing with a hiss and a click behind them.

Hancock's mind raced with thoughts as the door to the Polar Tang sealed shut, trapping Luffy and Law inside. What secrets could they possibly be sharing that didn't include him? His heart felt like it was in a vice, his love for Luffy growing increasingly desperate. He couldn't let Law steal her away.

Meanwhile, inside the submarine, Luffy visibly relax. “Law, you know, you’re like the best fucking person I know right now. I couldn’t get Hancock to leave me alone, even if he fell into the fucking sea.”

Law chuckled, his eyes never leaving hers. “Is that so?” He reached out and ruffled her straw hat, his hand lingering on her head for a second too long before it fell to his side. “What’s he up to, following you around like that?”

“I don’t know.” Luffy grounded, following Law deeper into the submarine. “You remember… well, you have to remember you were there, on Sabaody Archipelago were all of the worst generation pirates got attacked by Pacifist, and it sent me and my crew to all different spots of the world?”

Law nodded, his eyes still glinting with mischief. “Of course, I do. That was quite the spectacle.”

“Well, I ended up on Amazon Lily, ended up seeing Hancock butt ass naked. Tried to get away and somehow ending up fighting a fucking panther, he kept on trying to turn me to stone, even though his devil fruit doesn’t work on me, then he turned some of his own people to stone and was going to shattered them while they were stone, I had to stop that in a whole lot of other shit just happened and then somehow he fell in love with me, and now he won’t leave me the fuck alone.” Luffy summarized the weird ass fucking first encounter he had with Boa Hancock two years ago. “And he’s convinced since he helped me try to save Ace and a hugged him, I asked him to marry me.”

Law's smirk grew as he listened to Luffy's story, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Sounds like quite the romantic tale," he teased. “But why would he think you asked him to marry you? Did you say something to give him the wrong impression?”

“No!” Luffy said, sounding exasperated. “You’ve seen how I hug people it’s tight bear hug, just a really, really, really tight hug, and for some reason, he took it as a marriage proposal. And now, every time we meet, he just clings to me like some lost puppy. It’s so annoying!” Luffy pause for a second before, “and tell me, how old do you think he is? Because I know how old he is, but do you?”

Law raised an eyebrow at Luffy’s question. “I don’t know, but he looks around 23, maybe even 24. Why does it matter?”

“He’s 31. He’s 31 and he’s been following me around, and trying to get with me since I was 17.”

The revelation of Hancock’s true age sent a ripple of astonishment through the air of the submarine. Law’s smirk froze for a moment before he burst out laughing, his shoulders shaking with mirth.

“IT’S NOT FUNNY!” Luffy shout, banging her fist against his arm. “It’s weird and perverted! I’m about half tempted to start fake dating someone to get him to leave me the fuck alone!”

Law’s laughter subsided into chuckles. He looked at her with a glint in his eye. “Maybe you should, then. Who knows, maybe that’ll give him the hint.”

Luffy’s cheeks flushed pink, and she glared at Law. And she just stared at him for a few seconds before a smirk slowly spread across her face, and she leaned closer to him, batting her eyelashes at him. “What if I said I wanted to fake date you?” she whispered playfully.

Law’s eyes widened in surprise before he chuckled, pushing her back gently. “You’re playing with fire, Luffy. But sure, if it’ll help you out of this mess, I’m all for it. Plus, it’ll be a good laugh watching Hancock’s reaction.”

Luffy cheered like she just won a billion berries. "YES!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down. "You'll totally do it, right Traffy? Please say you will!"

"Alright, Luffy," Law sighed with a grin, "If it'll get that love-sick pirate off your back, I'll do it. But remember, it's all just an act. Nothing more." He winked at her, his smirk returning as he thought about the chaos this would cause.

“Oh! My! GOD! Yes! You’re like the best friend ever, Traffy!” Luffy exclaimed, throwing her arms around Law’s neck in a tight embrace. Law chuckled, patting her back awkwardly as he tried to maintain his cool demeanor.

Luffy pulled back, her eyes shining with excitement. “So, I really don’t wanna go back out there yet and deal with… ‘Hancock’ as a hole. Sooooo? Do you still have that Den Den Mushi that you showed me in Wano, the one that plays movies?”

Law nodded, amusement still dancing in his eyes. “Yeah, I’ve got it. Why do you ask?”

“Let’s watch a movie!” Luffy exclaimed, “It’ll be like a mini date, and it’ll drive Hancock crazy. Plus, it’s been ages since I’ve seen anything but the horizon. Or Sanij and Zoro fighting!”

Law couldn’t help but laugh at Luffy’s enthusiasm. He led her to the cozy lounge area of the Polar Tang, where a large Den Den Mushi sat. It was a rare piece of technology/animal-thing, capable of broadcasting both live events and recorded media from around the world.

“Alright, what’ll it be?” Law asked, scrolling through the vast library of content. Luffy’s eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. She had never seen such a selection before. After a moment of deliberation, she pointed to an old pirate flick titled “The Treasure of the Golden Snake.” It was a classic tale of adventure and love, set in the Grand Line.

As the movie began to play, Luffy curled up on the couch, her eyes glued to the screen. Law took a seat beside her, watching both the film and her reactions. The film’s protagonist, a young pirate named Silk, was on a quest to find the legendary treasure that could grant any wish. Luffy was immediately invested in the story, as Silk encountered danger and excitement at every turn.

The room grew quiet as they watched, only the occasional clanking of the submarine’s machinery breaking the silence and The heart Pirates coming and going, none of them daring to disturb the "lovebirds" as penguin had oh-so-lovingly dubbed them.

Meanwhile, outside the Polar Tang Hancock was not happy, not one bit as he watched the heart Pirates come and go from the Polar Tang, which all of them had been snickering to themselves whenever they come back out of the Polar Tang. He could feel something was up, and it wasn’t good. The way they were acting made his blood boil and his teeth clench.

From his beach chair beside her own ship called Perfume Yuda, and The Strawhat Pirates ship the thousand Sunny he saw another one of the heart Pirates walk out of their submarine.

“You!” He finally spoke up, pointing at the only female member of the heart pirates Ikkaku. “What are they doing that so… so… amusing to all of you?”

Ikkaku smirked and shrugged. “Oh, it’s just Captain Law and Miss Luffy, having a little... bonding session inside. They’re watching a movie, a sappy-action-pirate-boy-next-door-fall-in-love-with-him movie. They seem quite into the movie.” Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she watched Hancock’s expression turn sour.

Hancock’s grip on Salome tightened. “A movie? In the middle of the day? On a pirate ship?” He was flustered, his mind racing with all the possible scenarios playing out in the submarine’s lounge. “What’s so entertaining about that?”

Ikkaku chuckled, as Penguin appeared out of nowhere and jumped on her back, his hands firmly on her shoulders as he pushes himself up, and Penguin very loudly saying. “Because It’s the type of movie you watch before going to pow-Pow-Pow-POW-Pound-town bow-chicka-pow-wow! If you catch my drift!”

Chopper who was nearby playing with some of the local wildlife heard this, turned bright red and stuttered “W-what?!”

Ikkaku covered her mouth, trying to stifle her laughter. “You know, the kind of movie that makes you want to get cozy with someone... or something... if you know what I mean?”

Hancock’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “That’s ridiculous! Why would Luffy want to get cozy with Law? He’s just a boy!”

“Yeah, whatever you say.” Shachi said as he emerged from the polar tank. “I’m pretty sure they’re about to fuck in the lounge so nobody go towards the lounge if you go back inside.”

Hancock’s eyes grew wide with shock and disbelief. “What did you just say?!”

Penguin cackled, dropping from Ikkaku’s shoulders. “Pow-Pow-Pow-POW-Pound-town bow-chicka-pow-wow!” he exclaimed, doing a little dance.

Hancock’s fists clenched, his heart racing. He couldn’t bear the thought of Luffy with another man, especially not Law. “You think this is funny?” he snarled.

“Yes. Very much so.”

Shachi’s laugh was echoed by the rest of the Heart Pirates as they all shared knowing smirks. Hancock’s jaw tightened, and he took a deep breath to calm himself.
