Chapter 27
Crocodile and Sakazuki were sitting in her office in her casino called rain dinners, talking to their daughter Luffy, by Den Den Mushi. “So, like, how old is the snake empress bow a Hancock?” Luffy asks.
Crocodile shrugged even though she knew Luffy couldn’t see her. “I don’t know, like 24? 25-years-old. I’m not sure, but he seems quite smitten with you, doesn’t he?” She couldn’t help but smile a little.
Luffy grown at the under end of the, “Dad, do you know how old he is?”
Sakazuki leaned back in his chair, looking up from the paperwork, he was doing and rubbing his eyes. “Well, according to the paperwork, I’m doing about the warlords, he’s 31.” He said without missing a beat.
The sound of crashing came from the other line of the Den Den Mushi, followed by multiple voices that sounded Luffy’s Crewmate, some of them cackling, some of them gagging, some of them making disgusted noises while others were saying no fucking way over and over again. “Tell me you’re shitting me right now!” Luffy’s Voice cut through the, “NO NO NO NO! There’s no way it fucking hell I had—!” Luffy cut herself off with an audible snap of her teeth clicking together.
“What’s going on there, Luffy?” Crocodile’s tone was a mix of concern and amusement. She had a feeling she knew what was happening.
There was a long beat of silence from Luffy, only filled with a cacophony of sound of Luffy’s Crewmates. Then, finally someone’s, one of Luffy’s crewmates voice shouted from somewhere on the other end of the line. “YOU HAVE SEX WITH A 31-YEARS-OLD! OH MY GOD LUFFY A GROWN ASS MAN HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET WITH YOU SINCE YOU WERE 17!”
Crocodile dropped the pin she was using to right with in surprise. "What?!" She exclaimed, her eyes wide. But her voice was drowned out by the cacophony of voices coming from the other end of the line.
“OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!” Usopp’s voice yelled over the cacophony of voices coming from the other end of the line, his voice high-pitched and bordering on hysterical. “OH MY FUCKING GOD LUFFY! YOU GOT PREGNANT BY A WHOLR ASS GROWN ASS MAN!”
Crocodile's eyes narrowed as she processed the information. "Luffy, what's going on?" she demanded, her voice sharp.
There was more incoherent and unintelligible yelling before Luffy just yelled over all of them. “I’V BEEN HAVING SEX WITH HIM SINCE I WAS 17 BECAUSE I THOUGHT HE WAS SOMEWHAT CLOSE TO MY AGE! LIKE 21 MAYBE 23! EVERYONE TREATED HIM LIKE HE WAS A TEEN OR YOUNG ADULT! I MEAN HE EVEN ACTS AND TALKS AND LOOKS LIKE AN TEEN OR YOUNG ADULT! I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS 31! HE DIDN’T TELL ME AND NOW I’M PREGNANT WITH HIS BABY! I PROMISE I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS 31! OH MY FUCKING GOD HIS 31 AND I’VE BEEN HAVE SEX WITH HIM SINCE I WAS 17! I WAS HAVING SEX WITH HIM AT 17 AND HE KNEW I WAS 17!” She yelled, sounding like she was about to burst into tears before hanging up.
Sakazuki slammed his paperwork onto the desk, his eyes wide with shock and horror. "That's... that's... illegal!" he stuttered. Crocodile's smile had disappeared, replaced with a look of pure rage and confusion.
"What the fuck did he do to my baby?" Crocodile hissed, her purple eyes flashing dangerously.
Sakazuki's expression grew equally grim. "We need to talk to Luffy," he said, his voice low and serious. "This isn't just about her being pregnant; it's about consent and manipulation. If he led her on, thinking he was younger..." He trailed off, his fists clenching tightly.
Crocodile nodded, her thoughts racing. "We can't just let this slide," she said, her eyes narrowed. "We'll go to Amazon Lily and get to the bottom of this. I want answers, and I want them now."
Sakazuki stood up, his expression a mix of anger and concern. "We'll get there as soon as we can," he assured her, already making plans in his head.
Crocodile nodded firmly, her mind racing with a storm of emotions. She knew she had to stay calm for Luffy's sake, but the thought of anyone taking advantage of her daughter was unbearable.
"We need to get to Amazon Lily," she said, standing up with a surprising grace for someone of her stature. "I want to hear this straight from Hancock's mouth. How could he lie to her like that?"
