“SHANKS!” Benn’s Voice echoed through the entire Red force ship as he screamed his captain’s name at the top of his lungs. And let’s just say he doesn’t sound very happy with Shanks… at all. He sounds quite… angry actually.

Shanks stumbles out of his cabin onto the deck of his ship The Red force, his eyes still half-closed with sleep. He’s not one to get up early unless there’s a good reason, like finding a new island to plunder or a sea beast to challenge. “What is it, Benn?” he groans, rubbing the sleep out of his left eye. His hair looked like a bird had decided to build a nest in it, and his clothes were rumpled from his restless slumber.

Shanks was the last one up as usual, and Benn decided here and now he was not gonna save his captain from embarrassment, so, he started reading the daily news newspaper article. He started reading it very very loudly, nearly a yell how loud he was saying it. “THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE STRAWHAT PIRATES! THE SON OF THE EX-WATLORD, AND Currently CURRENTLY ONE OF THE NEW EMPERORS OF THE SEA, STAR CLOWN PRINCESS BUGGY AND THR CAPTANIN OF THE RED-HAIRED PIRATES AND EMPERORS OF THE SEA RED-HAIRED SHANKS HIMSELF, HOW KNOW TWO OF THE PAST ROGER PIRATES HAD A KID TOGETHER! THE KID, A YOUNG MAN NAMED, RED, HAS JOINED THE STRAWHAT PIRATES AND HAS GOTTEN HIS FIRST EVER BOUNTY OF 500,000,000! THE NEWEST OF THE WORST GENERATION PIRATES, RED, THE CROWNED CLOWN PRINCE!”

The crew of the Red-Hair pirates all stopped in their tracks, eyes wide as saucers as they stared at Benn Beckman, then to Shanks, then back at Benn, then at Shanks again. “Wait, what?” Shanks was shocked beyond belief. His heart was racing so fast he could feel it in his chest.

Benn wave the newspaper, and New bounty posters of different pirates around. “Apparently, you have a fucking son, Shanks. A son that looks like you just went fucking copy and paste but slapped some blue eyes on him!”

The color drains from Shanks' face as he takes the newspaper and reads through the article. His hand is shaking slightly as he scans the words, trying to process the information. A son? With Buggy? The thought had never crossed his mind. The revelation hits him like a cannonball to the chest, leaving him momentarily breathless. He looks up at his crew, their expressions ranging from shock to amusement.

"B-Buggy..." Shanks stammers, his mind racing back to their past adventures. "It can't be..." He whispers to himself, the weight of his words sinking in. The last time he saw her was over 19 years ago, just before he set sail to pursue his own path as a pirate. The night they shared was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a bit too much rum. He had no idea she was carrying his child.

The crew of the Red Hair Pirates exchange glances, the tension palpable in the air. They know their captain as a man of honor and loyalty, and this revelation could rock the very foundation of their trust in him. Lucky Roux, the burly, seasoned pirate, is the first to speak up. "Well, cap'n, I guess congratulations are in order. Did ya know 'bout this?" He tries to lighten the mood, but the gravity of the situation hangs heavy.

“No…” Shanks managed to murmur, his eyes still glued to the newspaper article, the words swimming in a sea of disbelief. He had always known that his past with Buggy was a tumultuous one, filled with adventure and friendship, but this... this was something entirely different. He had never thought that their time together could have led to this.

The crew remained silent, watching their captain carefully. They had seen Shanks face down the most fearsome pirates and marines, but this was a kind of battle they had never witnessed before. Yasopp, his old comrade and the ship's sniper, stepped forward, a look of concern etched on his face. “Shanks, what do we do now?”

Shanks took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. He had always been a man of action, not one to dwell on the past, but this was something he couldn’t ignore. He had a son out there, a son with a bounty on his head, a son who didn’t even know him. The thought filled him with a mix of fear and excitement. “We find him,” Shanks said firmly, his eyes meeting Yasopp’s. “We find Red, and I’ll meet him face to face.”

“No.” Benn said bluntly, “you need to go talk to Buggy, Shanks, not the boy. You two have history that needs to be addressed before you go gallivanting around playing daddy to a kid that doesn’t know you.” The deck was dead quiet, all eyes on Shanks, who was still trying to process the revelation.

Shanks nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He knew that he couldn’t just barge into his son’s life without first facing the woman he left behind. He had to deal with the consequences of his past actions. “You’re right, Benn. We need to find Buggy first. The Cross Guild... we’ll head to Buggy Town.”

The crew of the Red Hair Pirates sprang into action, preparing the ship for departure. Shanks’ mind raced with thoughts of the past and the future, the weight of his decisions pressing down on him like an anchor. As the ship sliced through the waves towards Buggy Town, Shanks couldn’t help but feel a twinge of excitement mixed with anxiety. What would Buggy say when she saw him again? Would she be angry? Would she want anything to do with him?

Buggy Town grew closer on the horizon, its vibrant colors standing out like a beacon amidst the sea. The Cross Guild’s Jolly Roger fluttered proudly atop the town’s main flagpole, a stark reminder of the power that awaited them. The town looked like a carnival had collided with a pirate stronghold, a whirlwind of clown motifs and maritime might.

As the Red Force docked, Shanks stepped onto the shore with his crew in tow. The townsfolk buzzed with excitement at the sight of the legendary pirate, whispering about the Four Emperors and the potential alliances forming.

The journey to the Cross Guild headquarters was filled with anticipation and nervous glances. Shanks had not seen Buggy in nearly two decades, and the last time they were together was not under the best of circumstances. The memory of their parting still lingered in the air, a silent thundercloud that threatened to rain down on their reunion.

As they approached the grand absolutely fucking ginormous Circus tent that served as the guild’s base, the air grew tense. The townsfolk eyed then, but didn’t pay them any mind as they continued on with their day.

The Cross Guild headquarters was a sight to behold. The tent was so large it looked like it could swallow the entire town. It was a blend of opulent and macabre, with gold and velvet everywhere and the occasional skull decoration peeking out from the curtains.

But the Red haired pirates stopped in their tracks when they got to the entrance of the Circus tent, flap of the tent flapping in the wind slightly and heard and felt a hissing-growl that literally shook the ground beneath them and the air above them. In the tent, somehow a Bananawani fucking fit, and somehow the tent was still fucking ginormous and filled with room for 100 if not, thousands of people to wander around. A Bananawani lay somewhat curled up at the edge of the circus temp, it’s eyes focused on the newcomers with a fierce intent.

Shanks looked over to Beckman, “Buggy has a Bananawani?!” He exclaimed, his voice carrying a mix of amazement and apprehension. Beckman nodded, a hint of amusement in his eyes.

“ISHA! I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOU’RE GROWLING AT, BUT SHIT YOUR FUCKING TEAP! YOU’RE SHALING THE FUNITURE!” A deep, rumbling, soothingly-relaxed voice with an heavy and thick Egyptian yelled from somewhere deeper inside the circus tent.

The Bananawani looked over to the source of the voice, then back at Shanks and his crew, it’s tail thumping against the ground in annoyance. It was clear the creature knew who was in charge here. With one last glare, the giant beast turned it’s head away, but keeping an eye on the Red haired pirates.

Shanks took a deep breath, his heart racing as he and his crew stepped into the tent. Just to see not one, not two, not three, not four, but five Bananawani’s scattered around the Circus tent, all of them with their eyes on the Red haired pirates, but none of them making a move. They all knew who was the Alpha in this place, and it was the one who’s voice had just called out. Crocodile, the half Italian half Egyptian pirate with the power of the Suna Suna no Mi fruit.

“Okay.” Yasopp broke the silent, his voice cracking slightly. “What the fuck?” He whispered, looking around at the massive crocodiles that surrounded them. The crew of the Red Force had seen a lot of strange things in their adventures, but this… this was new.

Bananawani’s were supposed to be fear, they hunted down and killed Sea Kings, Sea King Who can be up to millions of feet big and here are these five that looked like they could eat a giant whole.

“Don’t be so mean her, Puddin’.” Another voice called out from the same place further into the tent crocodile’s came from, not soon after Crocodile’s yell echo through the circus tent. This time it was a high pitched, sweet, and very feminine voice that sounded like it belonged to an angel rather than a pirate. And it was a voice Shanks knew all too well, it was a voice he could never forget, the voice of his first love, the voice of his son’s mother, Buggy.

The Red Hair Pirates looked around the tent, trying to spot the source of the voice. The smell of popcorn and cotton candy filled the air, mingling with the faint scent of saltwater. The place was indeed like a circus, but with a darker edge that hinted at the power and danger that lurked within. The vibrant lights and decorations reflected off the shiny floors and walls, creating a disorienting yet mesmerizing atmosphere.

As they ventured deeper into the tent, they finally came across the three leaders of the Cross Guild: Buggy, dressed in her signature clown attire, Crocodile with his golden hook gleaming in the light, and Mihawk, his sharp eyes watching them intently. Crocodile and Mihawks were lounging on a giant, circle wraparound velvet couch, while Buggy was lost in her own little world, not paying attention to anything, but the little boy no older than 2-years-old, and a Little boy, no older 1-year-old she was holding in her arm, dancing around and swaying with them to an unheard melody, just the laughter of the two toddlers filled the air.

Crocodile and Mihawks’ eyes were locked onto The Red Hair Pirates as they entered, the former raising an eyebrow in curiosity, the latter not even bothering to move from his relaxed position. Buggy on the other hand was still lost in her own little world, as she spine and suede with the kids in her arms, The kids talking to her 1,000,000 miles a minute.

Crocodile looks like he was about to say something but stopped with Buggy spun around one last time and walked backwards before collapsing into his lap, still holding the two kid, she kicked her feet up, and her heels landed on Mihawk’s shoulder, as she crossed her ankles. "Oh, Puddin’, Sugar, we should go out on a date, or something! It’s been forever since the three of us went out!" She said, her voice light and cheerful. “Isn’t that right Raven, Salamander, tell your daddies to take your mommy on a date!”

The two toddler looked up at Crocodile and Mihawk with wide eyes before mimicking their mother’s cheerful tone as they say in un, “Yeah! Daddies take Mommy on date!”

Mihawk raised an eyebrow and leaned back, his arms folding over his chest, not bothering to move Buggy’s feet from the side of his shoulder as he watched Shanks. Crocodile on the other hand looked utterly amused, a smirk playing on his lips as he looked at Shanks and then at Buggy and the two kids, who were still laughing away.

“Clown.” Crocodile’s voice Cut through the children’s laughter, as they slid off of Buggy and ran off to play. “We’ve got visitors that you failed to notice, if you wanna go on a date, it’s gonna have to wait.”

Buggy turned her head and her smile dropped in an instance, she let out an annoyed grown as she slipped off of Crocodile’s lap, her feet slipping off of their perch on Mihawk’s shoulders, and sat in between them as she glared at Shanks. “What do you want Shanks?”

Shanks took a deep breath and walked closer to the trio, his eyes focused on the two toddlers that had just called Crocodile and Mihawk 'daddy'. He felt a mix of emotions: shock, confusion, anger, and a strange sense of protectiveness. “Buggy, we need to talk. Alone.”

“No.”

The single word from Buggy was as firm as it was cold, and it hung in the air like a steel door slammed shut. She didn’t even bother to look at Shanks as she spoke, her eyes remained glued to the twins playing with their newfound toys, the Bananawani watching them with curious eyes from the shadows of the tent. The laughter of the children seemed to echo louder in the sudden tension, a stark contrast to the silence that had descended upon the pirates.

“If you wanna talk, spit it out here.” Buggy replied, her voice carrying an edge that Shanks had never heard before. Her usual carefree tone was replaced with one that was sharp and demanding. Mihawk huffed, The closest thing you’re gonna get to a laugh from him, but Crocodile had no qualms about laughing, and he laugh, a deep rumbling drawn out sound that echoed through the tent.

Shanks’ crew members looked around nervously, unsure of what to make of the situation. They knew their captain was tough, but the combined might of the Cross Guild leaders was something they had never seen before. Shanks cleared his throat, trying to regain control of his emotions. “I’ve seen the posters, Buggy. I know about Red. He’s... he’s my son?”

Buggy clicked her tongue in annoyance, crossing her legs and crossing her arms over her chest. “Yes. You were the ‘Sperm donor’ of ‘MY’ son. Now is that all you wanted to know?”

Shanks’ eyes widened in shock, his hand slamming down on the table. “That’s not all I want to know, Buggy! Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you come looking for me? We could have been a family!” His voice echoed through the tent, resonating with years of regret and lost time.

“Bull fucking shit!” Buggy snapped, her cutesy façade cracking to reveal a fiery intensity. “You think I wanted this, Shanks? You think I wanted to raise a child alone?” Her voice grew louder, drawing the attention of the Cross Guild members and the Red Hair Pirates alike. “But, God, I tried to fucking find you. I sent you fucking letters and everything. But as soon. As soon as I heard what you did to Uta, I knew you weren’t coming back! Who the fuck abandoned their daughter and then went off gallivanting around like you owned the world!? So, no, I decided to stop trying to fucking find you, I decided not to tell you because I knew you would do the same to Red!”

Her words stung, hitting Shanks like a barrage of cannonballs. The room was silent, the air thick with unspoken accusations and pain. Benn looked on with a solemn expression, knowing the truth behind Uta’s fate but respecting Shanks’ decision to keep it hidden. The revelation of Uta’s abandonment hung in the air, a stark reminder of the choices made in the past.

Crocodile amusement, and Mihawk hidden amusement had evaporated, replaced by a palpable tension as they watched the unfolding scene.

Crocodile sighed, shifting slightly before standing up towering over all of the Red haired pirates. “Okay,” He began, seemingly pulling a cigar and lighter out of nowhere, bringing this cigar to his lips before lighting it up. “I think it’s about time you all leave. I may be the bid boss of all this Bananawani’s, but they don’t quite like it when their Buggy is upset, and if they get upset, well, you all might not leave with your heads intact.” He spoke calmly, but there was a clear warning in his words.

Shanks stared at him for a moment, his gaze unreadable, before he finally nodded. “We’ll leave for now, but this isn’t over. I need to speak to my son, and I need to know why he’s here, in your care, and not mine.” His voice was firm, a hint of the authority that made him one of the most powerful men in the world bleeding through.

“Motherfucker, I pushed him out of my fucking vagina. That’s why he’s with me and not with you!” Buggy snapped, her cute features contorted into an angry expression that seemed almost comical, yet it didn't detract from the seriousness of her words. She was visibly furious and hurt, and the room grew tenser with every passing moment.

Mihawk stepped in, placing a gentle hand on Buggy’s shoulder. He knew she was upset, but they couldn’t let this blow out of proportion. “Calm down, darling. Shanks is just shocked, that’s all. Let’s give him some time to process everything,” he said, his voice smooth as silk.

Buggy took a deep breath, her chest heaving with emotion. She nodded, glancing at Shanks, the hurt in her eyes unmistakable. “Fine, but don’t expect me to roll out the red carpet for you again, Shanks. You had your chance to be in Red’s life. You chose your adventure over us.”

Shanks felt a pang of guilt, but he knew he couldn’t change the past. All he could do now was try to make amends. He nodded solemnly. “I understand. I’ll leave now, but I want to see Red soon, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make this right.”
