Chapter 12

Doflamingo and his Friends were playing with the kids in the Play room of Sonny D’s. Daycare, well, Doflamingo more than the others, he’d always loved kids, and his friends, Trebol, Diamante, Pica, and Vergo, well, they tolerated it for his sake. Trebol had just finished tying a knot around a toy boat, making it look like a tiny pirate ship. "Arr matey!" he said, holding it up with a toothy grin to a giggling Luffy. Diamante was playing dress-up with Nami, who looked like a tiny fashionista with her Orange hair in bows, and Pica was awkwardly trying to assemble a tower of blocks with the hyperactive Ace and Sabo, who kept knocking it down. Vergo, ever the skeptic, was reading a book in the corner, looking utterly bored with the whole ordeal.

Doflamingo distantly heard the sound of the front door of the daycare opening, The bell above the door letting out a little chime, soon followed by a voice with an Egyptian accent that would make a nun’s knees go weak, soak her panties in an instance, and beg to sin right in the middle of the church aisle. “Ah, Miss Di'Ja, I see you’re looking as gorgeous as ever.”

Di'Ja, the owner of the daycare, rolled her eyes. "Crocodile, always the charmer," she said, trying to hide her smile. "You’re here to pick up Luffy, Ace, and Sabo?"

“لماذا بالطبع يا حبيبتي؟.” Crocodile said in Arabic, leaning against the calendar that separated the playroom and the lobby of the daycare. He has a long-stitched scar at the bridge of his nose that stretches across his face and Bionic hand shaped like a large hook that looks like it is made from a tough gold alloy in place of his left hand. He was dressed in a silk black button up, an emerald green male corset with darker shiny designs to look like crocodile scales, flared black dress pants, heeled black crocodile skin dress shoes. He had a black tie on that looked like it was made out of real black alligator skin. A shit ton of jewelry, Gold, silver, Diamond, and jeweled rings, bracelets, necklaces, every goddamn piercing you could get in your ears, and to finish the look he had on a open long fur coat that made him look like a sultry devil that could melt your panties off with a single look. He had shoulder length jet black hair that shines purple in the sun, tan skin, and purple eyes that could make anyone fall for him at first glance.

Doflamingo's heart skipped a beat when he heard that voice. It was like a dark symphony playing in his chest, resonating through his very soul. He couldn't believe that such a sound could come from a human, and when he saw the man who owned it, he felt like Cupid had just slapped him in the ass with a wet towel. Crocodile was the kind of guy who could make the devil himself question his sexuality, and Doflamingo was no exception.

Crocodile arrested his left elbow on the counter, and rested his chin on top of his hook shaped bionic arm, watching as Di’Ja find the right pick up forms for Crocodile to sign. And he smiles at her when she glances up at him.

And Lord, please take the wheel again because oh my dear motherfucking God! That fucking small! That smile would make a Nun want to sin! Your knees wobble and give out underneath you! It was one of those just scrumdiddlyumptious fucking smiles! Those smiles are tired DILF(Daddy I'd Like to Fuck) would give you when the DILF knows he looks fucking good! The type of smiles that are so mushy gushy and oh so Lord have mercy Jesus take the wheel so we don’t crash fucking hot! The type of smiles that just make you want to throw your underwear at them!

Diamante’s jaw dropped like it was attached to a yo-yo. Pica and Trebol, they stopped playing with the kids and stared. Vergo, the skeptic, peeked over his book, looking like he’d just seen a ghost, his eyes wide as saucers. But Doflamingo? Oh, Doflamingo. He couldn’t even pretend to be cool anymore. He just stood there, his cheeks redder than a baboon’s ass, staring at Crocodile like he’d just seen heaven and hell in one fucking gorgeous package.

Doflamingo’s mind raced. What the actual fuck is this guy’s name? He's got to be the hottest man he's ever seen in his life! And that fucking outfit! He looked like a mix between a rock star and a mafia boss. Doflamingo couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of the kids that got to call this vision of beauty their dad. But it's not just that, there's something about Crocodile that makes him feel all warm and tingly in his stomach. Like he’s seen this man in his dreams, in those hot, steamy, oh-so-wrong fantasies that you wake up from and immediately want to take a cold shower.

"Crocodile, right?" Doflamingo managed to choke out, walking up to the man with all the grace of a giraffe on rollerblades. "I'm Donquixote Doflamingo. I help out here sometimes."

Crocodile’s eyes cut towards him, and a smirk curled his lips. “Ah, the eldest Donquixote boy, i’ve heard quite a lot about you.” He spoke in a deep, rumbling voice that was as smooth as fine whiskey. Doflamingo felt his cheeks heat up even more as he tried to play it cool.

"Is that so?" Doflamingo said, trying to sound nonchalant. "Well, I hope it's all good things."

Crocodile's smirk grew into a full-fledged smile, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Only the best, I assure you. Di'Ja speaks quite highly of your... enthusiasm for childcare."

Di'Ja shot Doflamingo a knowing look, her smile hinting at the mischief she knew she'd stirred up by bringing the two together. "Croc, Doflamingo is the one who convinced his friends to volunteer here. They're like a bunch of overgrown kids themselves."

Doflamingo squawked indignantly, and Crocodile laughed, a sound that was both soothing and a siren's call. "I'm sure you're all quite the entertainment for them," Crocodile said, his English tinged with a thick Egyptian accent that made Doflamingo's knees wobble even more. He leaned over the counter to sign the forms, the fabric of his fur coat brushing against Di'Ja's arm, and she had to bite her cheek to keep from giggling at Doflamingo's blatant ogling.

The air in the playroom was charged with a tension that wasn't just from the sugar rush of the toddlers. The kids, oblivious to the grown-up world of attraction playing out before them, continued their games, their laughter and chatter the only thing keeping the silence from becoming too awkward. Doflamingo watched as Crocodile's bicep flexed with every stroke of the pen, the gold and diamond cufflink on his shirt sleeve glinting in the artificial light. It was all he could do to not reach out and touch, to feel the power that radiated from the man.

As Crocodile finished signing the forms with a flourish and as if on cue Ace, Sabo, and Luffy barreled into the lobby, their little legs moving at breakneck speeds. They skidded to a stop when they saw their father, and the joy on their faces was like watching the sun rise after a long night. Crocodile’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw his little ones, the love he had for them unmistakable even to the most jaded heart.

“Ah, my little crocodilian’s, you three really to go home?” Crocodile said, his smile widening as he crouched down to their level. The kids squealed in delight, jumping into his arms. Luffy, Ace, and Sabo wrapped their arms around his neck, smushing their faces into his broad chest.
