Chapter 8

“Why the fuck did you insist on waiting for Strawhat?” Kid grouches, “All of our crews have already wandered off and fucked off without us.”

Law hums, his eyes locked onto the Thousand sunny, as they wait for Luffy. “I wanted to see your reaction firsthand.” He says with a knowing smirk, his hand tugging at the edge of his hat.

Kid glances over, raising an eyebrow, “What reaction?” He asks, his voice edged with curiosity.

“You’ll see.” Law replies cryptically, his smirk deepening as he watches the Thousand Sunny. The ship's Jolly Roger, a skull with a straw hat, flutters in the breeze as the sound of a door opening and closing echoes through the dock.

“Strawhat-ya?” Law calls out, his voice carrying across the bustling dock.

“I’m coming! I’m coming! I’m coming! I’m coming!” Luffy’s voice cherries down from the ship, accompanied by the sounds of something click clack.

And then Luffy appears at the top of the gangway, hopping on 1 foot to try to class her heel as she makes her way down.

And Kids jaw drops.

Because Luffy, Monkey D. Luffy is in a dress!

Monkey D. Luffy Is in a dress that makes her look like a dream.

Monkey D. Luffy Is in a dress that makes abundantly clear that she’s a pretty girl at that, a really really really really really ridiculously pretty girl. A really really really really really ridiculously gorgeous girl.

Monkey D. Luffy Is a very very very very ridiculously gorgeous girl dressed in a dress that was made out of a fine silk and mesh spaghetti strap mini dress, the dress was a skin tight fine silk dress showing off her curbs and clinging to her body in the best way. The dress had Tiger print mesh over it, the Tiger print cutting diagonal to show off half of the black part of the dress underneath while the other half it the Tiger print, with The Tiger print going further down in the black part of the dress making a little flowy tail that fluttered in the wind. The dress was short, stopping right at her mid thigh. She had black and Orange kitten heels to match her dress, with bangle bracelets, rings, and a necklace. She was still wearing her iconic straw hat, but it didn’t make her outfit any less feminine. She even put on makeup. A gradient of glittery dark brown to a glittery burnt orange eyeshadow on her lids, eyeliner, mascara, light blush, and a nude lipstick with lipgloss over top of it. Her short curly hair framing her face.

Luffy looked like she just stepped off the pages of a pirate magazine.

Kid's heart skipped a beat. He'd seen Luffy in all sorts of getups, from ragged pirate garb to tomboy clothes, more presentableish clothes, literal men’s clothes, but he’s never seen her in girl clothes, never something so… so girl, so feminine, something so... revealing. The way the fabric clung to her curves, the playfulness of the tiger print, the way her hat tilted just right to cast a shadow over one eye... it was all too much. He'd always known she was a girl, of course, but seeing her like this, dressed up and looking so... so... damn it, why was he blushing?

“Traffy! Help me get this damn heel on!” Luffy called out at Law, as she still tried to balance on feet, still trying to clap the heel’s clasp shut. She looked absolutely radiant, with not a care in the world.

Law smirks as he saunters over to her, “Let me help you, Strawhat-ya.” He says, reaching out to assist her.

Kid watched as Luffy huffed in frustration as she reached the bottom of the gangway, crossing her arms over her chest and holding out her foot to Law, Who grabbed her ankle without hesitation and clasped the heel of her shoe with surprising gentleness.

“Thanks, Traffy!” Luffy grinned up at him, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Law chuckled, giving her ankle a gentle squeeze before releasing it. “You’re welcome, Strawhat-ya. Ready for the festivities?” He winked, knowing full well the impact Luffy’s new look had on Kid. “All three of our crews have already started without us. The party’s this way.” He gestured towards the bustling town square of Wano, where the celebrations were in full swing. The vibrant colors of the decorations and the mouth-watering smells of the festival food filled the air.

Luffy nodded eagerly at Law, her straw hat bobbing with the movement. "Yeah, let's go already! I wanna eat and party!"

Kid stumbled over his words, trying to recover from the sight of Luffy in a dress. "Yeah... yeah, sure... we should go." He couldn't stop staring, his mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions he hadn't quite processed yet. He had to admit, she looked incredible, and it was throwing him off balance in the most confusingly delightful way.

Law eyed him for a Second, raising an eyebrow before he smirked and slithered his arm around Luffy’s waist. “Let’s not keep the party waiting, shall we?” He said, leading the way.

Kid felt his cheeks heat up as he watched them go. He’d never seen Luffy look so...so... He didn’t know what to think. It was like someone had painted a new picture of her and he didn’t know if he liked it or if he was just in shock. He hurried to catch up, trying to play it cool as he took in her new look. The way the fabric of her dress hugged her curves was...distracting.

As they entered the town square, the cacophony of music, laughter, and shouting grew louder. The sight of the Strawhat captain dressed so femininely was definitely turning heads. Some of the townsfolk did a double-take, while others couldn’t help but stare.

Kid tried to keep his eyes ahead, but his gaze kept drifting back to Luffy’s bare legs and the way she walked in those heels. It was mesmerizing, like watching a swan glide across water.

Nami spotted them from the crowd and waved, "Luffy, you look amazing!" She called out.

"Oh, Luffy, you're giving us all a heart attack!" Usopp exclaimed dramatically, fanning himself.

Luffy grinned, twirling around to show off her dress. "Do you guys like it?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Nami whistled, "You're going to steal the show, Luffy! Where'd you find that dress?"

“Traffy bought it for me before we all fight Kaidou and Big mom.” Luffy said, beaming at Nami. “He said it was perfect for a celebration, and I think he’s right!” She spun around again, the tails of the tiger print fabric fluttering like a pair of kites in the wind.

“OooOOoOh~.” Franky drawled teasingly, leaning forward and batting his eyelashes dramatically at Law. “So, The stoic captain of the heart pirate went out on his own time and bought our Luffy a dress? How gallant!”

Law's smirk grew wider, "Isn't she just the picture of grace and elegance?"

Sanji, ever the flirt, couldn't resist chiming in, "Indeed she is, Luffy! You could give any woman here a run for their money!"

Chopper, blushing as always, nodded in agreement, "You look wonderful, Luffy-san!"

Jinbe, ever stoic, gave a nod of approval, "Indeed, Luffy, you're a sight to behold."

As the group moved through the crowd, the townsfolk of Wano couldn't help but gossip about the rare sight of Luffy in such a feminine attire. The whispers grew louder as they approached the main stage where the celebration was being held. The energy of the crowd was infectious, and Luffy's excitement grew with every step.

Kid's mind was racing. He had always seen Luffy as a formidable opponent, a fellow captain, but now...now she was something else entirely. The way she moved in that dress, the confidence she exuded, it was like seeing a different person. And yet, she was still the same Luffy he knew, the same Luffy who had fought alongside him against Big Mom and Kaidou. It was strange, but also...exciting?

As they approached the heart of the celebration, Luffy spotted the food stalls and her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. "Oooh, let's eat!" She exclaimed, dragging Law along with her. The heart pirates watched with amusement as their captain, known for his stoic demeanor, was led around by the enthusiastic Strawhat captain.

Kid trailed behind, still trying to process the sudden revelation. He'd always seen Luffy as a rival, a tomboyish pirate who didn't conform to typical female norms. But now, dressed like that, she was undeniably alluring. Her carefree attitude and the way she moved in the dress was unlike anything he'd ever seen from her. It was as if she'd unlocked a secret treasure chest of femininity and was flaunting it without a second thought.

As they approached the food stalls, Luffy's eyes grew as wide as saucers, taking in the smorgasbord of delicious aromas. "Oh wow, so much food!" she exclaimed, tugging on Law's arm. "I want to try everything!"

Law chuckled at her excitement and looked over at Kid, who was still trying to play it cool despite the heat rising to his cheeks. "Don't just stand there, Kid," he said with a smirk. "The festivities await!"
