Papa Neuvi: and I agree with Elaine. Its good to get out and socialise with others your age.
Letaa: but I DO talk to people my age!
Elaine: you know i dont count, right?
Wrio: we can spar another time leets, go hang out with your friends
Letaa: UGH youre supposed to be against this
Letaa: FINEEEEE I’ll go hang out with them, but know I am NOT happy about it.
Elaine: yeah yeah whatever, remember to meet up at the fountain when youre ready

BoxingQueen: I don’t understand how I started getting ready BEFORE you and youre still not done. Unbelievable.
better twin: welcome to the club. Lyney always takes forever getting ready. Not sure why.
Magic Man: im sorry it takes time to look this good.

ellieane: dw I get you lyney, us older twins need to stick together. We’re on our way btw
BoxingQueen: wait, where’s freminet?

diver boy: No! he’s just a friend
diver boy: also I was talking with Father before I left
better twin: did she need anything?
diver boy: no but she did say its lyneys turn to do the dishes when we get home.
Magic Man: damn, I was really hoping she wouldn’t notice
better twin: youre dreaming if you thought Father wouldn’t notice
ellieane: anyways, whats this friends name and when do we get to meet him?
diver boy: his name is gaming, and he lives in liyue so im not sure when he’ll revisit
BoxingQueen: I have to ask this, and you might hate me for it but, does he game?
diver boy: .

ellieane: oh wait that’s actually sick

better twin: me too and I hate to change the subject, but elaine and leta are here.
Lynette turned off her phone and stood up from the bench by the Fountain of Lucine as Leta and Elaine walked towards them.
“Im still unsure why we decided to meet up here instead of the court.” Lynette stated as they walked back to the aquabus lyney lynette and freminet had been on a mere 15 minutes before.
“It’s about the atmosphere, dear sister. Plus, the view from the aquabus will never cease to amaze me.” Lyney remarked as the five boarded. Elaine shrugged at that and swallowed a sip of cordial from her drink bottle. “I will say that the view you can get from the aquabuses are beautiful, but it can get old from time to time.”
“that’s precisely why I don’t get out much. To savour the view every time. So it never looks boring.” Leta stated, her arms crossed behind her back.
“That, or you’re a loner who needs to get out more. Dad’s words not mine.” Elaine added after watching her sisters face contort from shock to disbelief. Idle chatter continued until the aquabus reached the Court of Fontaine. As it came to a halt, Elphane, the Melusine running the aquabus, called over Leta as she was leaving. “Leta, could you hand this to Sigewinne next time you see her? I know you go down to the fortress more than Elaine.” Leta smiled and took the letter from her hands “No problem! Do you need a message with the letter?”
“No, just the letter will do. Have a good day.” Leta waved to Elphane and quickly caught up with the others, who were already at the elevator waiting it to arrive. Strangely, they were crowded around Elaine, and all seemed to be giggling at something on her phone (Lynette more softly smiling but showing amusement nonetheless).
“What are you four laughing at?” they looked up at the sound and Lynette kindly explained, “they’re laughing at what Freminet’s friend posted on his TeyvatTok.” Leta bent around to see a boy with brown to red hair and amber eyes with a whipped cream moustache on his face and she couldn’t help but laugh at the stupidity. “Why did you guys stalk his TeyvatTok?” Lyney seemed to get very defensive at that and argued “hey its not stalking if he gives it to you willingly. And by you, I mean Freminet.” The elevator had finally come, and the group piled in, ready to go out on the town.
3:30pm
After a couple of hours of window shopping/actual shopping, the five sat down at Café Lucete to have lunch, consisting of pastries to share, croque monsieurs for Freminet and Leta, a conch madeline for Lynette, a crepes suzette for Lyney and la lettre a focalors for Elaine. After lunch, they went their separate ways and by the time Elaine and Leta had made it home, it was already 4:30. They proceeded to have some downtime and relax (Leta’s numerous attempts to convince her sister to spar with her was not very relaxing, in Elaine’s opinion) before cooking dinner together before their fathers came home. (Neuvillette had also texted them when they got home that furina was coming over for dinner and a chat after, so they made sure to make enough food for her as well.)
Neuvillette had come home first with Furina along with him. They chatted for about half an hour, but dinner wasn’t ready until Wriothesley came home from the Fortress. As they sat down and ate it was a calming feeling of togetherness that seemed to fill the air while they all chatted on about their day.
