Separation
Vi and Caitlyn fell into a comfortable schedule, they would do their duties in accordance with their jobs. Have regular meetings with the council and other important people in piltover on securing the unity of top side and the under city.
But the evening was always their favorite. They spent their evenings together learning more about each other, having dinner together, talking about their goals and what they want for the future.
When night time rolled around, they would always find themselves tangled in one another. It wasn’t every night that they were connecting like this. but it was definitely more times than not.
It had been almost 2 months since their rehearsal dinner and here they were, finally the week of the wedding. It was to be Piltover’s event of the century.
It was a busy week in Piltover, and everyone was buzzing in anticipation for the wedding. The whole city was gearing up for the celebration of the century, the wedding everyone was talking about. The most powerful councilors were all coming to see the union, and the entire event was a huge deal for everyone. The entire under city was talking about it too, wondering about what the ceremony would entail, wondering if the under city and top side would see any positive impacts from it.
Caitlyn felt exhausted as she tried to prepare herself for everything going on.
Caitlyn hadn’t seen Vi since she left for work that morning. They’d both been super busy the last few days with work and the preparations for the ceremony, and they’d barely even gotten to spend time together. The most they’d done was sit together for dinner, the last couple of days. Caitlyn felt like her body was going crazy with separation anxiety, her inner omega craving her alpha’s touch and body.
But that’s why the gala tonight was important; it was the final event before the wedding.
Caitlyn is waiting inside her chambers, a gown of deep blue and light purple over her body. She’s waiting while a few maids finish helping her into the dress. She feels restless wanting to be close to her alpha, with her anxiety about the upcoming wedding gnawing at her. But she’s almost finished getting ready, and the gala begins soon. A knock on her door brings her away from her thoughts.
Finally the servants finish with her gown, and they step back. Caitlyn looks at herself in the mirror for a moment, taking in her own reflection. The gown fits her like a second skin, hugging her figure. One of the maids opens the door, it’s Vi.
Caitlyn turns to look at Vi when she walks in, her breath catching at the sight of Vi. She’s dressed in a formal suit, wearing what seems to be a black button up shirt, a tie, a dark vest, and slacks. Her tie is black as well, and her hair is carefully styled. Caitlyn’s eyes run over Vi’s body, taking her in. How does she always manage to look so damn handsome? Caitlyn is nearly overwhelmed by how damn hot Vi looks, and she can’t help but wish they didn’t have to go to the gala tonight.
Vi crosses over to Cait, a soft smile on her face as she looks Caitlyn over, her eyes wandering over the dress. “Damn. You look so… beautiful” Vi murmurs, her voice dropping as she looks at Cait’s body. She reaches out, gently touching Caitlyn’s chin to tip her head up so Vi can look at her better. She runs her thumb along Caitlyn’s jawline, her heart skipping a beat.
Caitlyn responds with a shiver of desire, letting out a soft gasp as Vi touches her. Her inner omega is responding to Vi’s touch immediately, feeling heat start to pool.
Vi offers her arm to Caitlyn, a small smirk growing on her face as Caitlyn takes her arm. Her hand wraps over the crook of Vi’s arm, clinging to her alpha’s arm instinctually. She looks up at Vi, her omega instincts making her shiver slightly with anticipation.
They start walking out of the room and towards the gala, their steps falling into pace as they walk together. Caitlyn can’t help herself, and she glances up at Vi every so often, admiring how damn handsome she looks.
As they walk together, Caitlyn looks up at Vi every so often, her eyes running over her alpha’s body again and again. Finally she speaks up as they walk through the halls towards the gala, her voice low and soft.
“You look… really good in a suit” she says, her voice low and almost shy as she speaks. She can’t help it, she doesn’t want to just stare at Vi the whole time without saying anything.
They come to a stop in front of the huge doors of the event space, standing together and enjoying each other’s presence for a moment. Vi leans down to kiss Caitlyn, pressing her lips to her omega’s lips. She’s missed Caitlyn, and the feeling of Caitlyn’s soft lips against her own feels like a breath of fresh air.
The doors open, music from inside filling the air, making Caitlyn’s hand tighten around Vi’s arm as their kiss breaks. They enter the gala, walking together as everyone inside turns to watch them.
Vi and Caitlyn walk together, heads held high as the huge room full of people turn to look at them. Everyone has turned to watch them, whispering about the two of them as Vi and Caitlyn cross the room together. Caitlyn holds onto Vi’s arm, her hand clinging tightly to Vi’s arm. She feels a rush of pride and arousal at being seen with Vi like this, walking through a room full of people with her alpha.
They cross the huge room, heading toward Caitlyn’s father. The crowd slowly parts in front of them, making it easier for them to get through.
Caitlyn’s father turns to look at them as they approach, a small smile on his face as they get closer. He glances between Vi and Caitlyn, his eyes landing on their clasped hands and the way Caitlyn’s hand is clinging to Vi’s arm.
“Well, there you are, Caitlyn. Vi” he says, nodding at each of them. He glances down at Caitlyn’s hand clutching Vi’s arm, but he doesn’t comment on it.
Caitlyn glances at her father, her hand still gripping Vi’s arm tightly. She looks at him for a moment, then she nods, her voice quiet.
“Good evening, father. Everything seems to be going well” she responds. Her heart is beating fast being in the room full of people. She can hear everyone whispering about them, can see the way everyone is studying them and watching their interactions.
Caitlyn’s father glances around the huge room, watching the crowd as he speaks.
“Yes, I see no reason to worry. Everything seems to be going perfectly, and all of our guests seem to be enjoying themselves” he says, his eyes on the crowd as he speaks. He glances down at Caitlyn and Vi again, a small smirk on his face as he continues.
“I’m sure you two will be very popular tonight” he says, looking at Caitlyn and Vi’s clasped hands. He nods slightly, “Enjoy yourselves” he says before turning to greet some other guests.
Caitlyn lets out a soft sigh of relief, her hand easing its grip on Vi’s arm now that they don’t need to pay attention to her father as much. She stands on her tip toes, rising up to whisper in Vi’s ear. Her breath is warm as it tickles Vi’s ear, sending a shiver down the alpha’s spine.
“He probably thinks I’ve finally taken my suppressants. He has no idea” Caitlyn whispers to Vi as they head off to greet other people.
Vi chuckles softly as they walk among the guests, keeping a close eye on Caitlyn as they move together. She leans in to whisper to Caitlyn even as others approach to greet them.

Caitlyn shivers as Vi runs her eyes over her body, the alpha’s eyes on her making her body heat up. She looks at Vi as they walk, her voice quiet as they keep moving.
“No, I most definitely wouldn’t. I’d be in absolute hell without your touch.” she says softly, her hand tightening around Vi’s arm even as they talk.
Caitlyn is almost distracted by the way Vi is looking at her, her eyes running over her and making heat pool in Caitlyn’s core. But they’re both aware that they have to interact with other people, so they continue moving through the crowd and greeting some of the other guests. The whole night is a blur, as Caitlyn and Vi navigate the crowd of people together, their hands always finding each other at some point and touching whenever they can get away with it.
The night passes in a blur, and before they know it their time there is coming to a close. They’re both tired by the time it’s almost over, but they’re both still clinging to each other as they stand around waiting for the event to end.
They hear the clinking of glasses as the council members rise to speak, and Caitlyn leans into Vi a bit more, listening to the speeches with interest as she clings to Vi’s arm.
Mel Medarda takes the stage, looking out at the crowd that has gathered.
“We come together tonight to celebrate a union between Piltover and the under city. As you all know, this union between two of our great cities will be a historic moment, one that will be remembered for years to come.” she says, her voice confident as it carries through the room.
Caitlyn leans into Vi as she listens to the speech, her fingers clutching loosely at Vi’s sleeve as she listens intently.
Mel wraps up her speech, looking out at the crowd with a warm smile.
“In a few days, we will share another historic moment together. We will celebrate the wedding of Caitlyn Kiramman and Vi, and we will witness a united future for topside and the under city” she says, her voice rising with confidence as she finishes speaking.
Caitlyn’s father is the next to speak, his voice carrying through the large room.
“This moment we share is something special. My daughter is to be married to Vi, and we’re celebrating a union between our two great cities. It’s an honor to be a part of this moment” he says, his voice full of pride as he speaks.
Caitlyn leans into Vi as she listens to her father, her fingers playing with a loose thread on Vi’s sleeve. She leans in close to whisper to Vi as the crowd claps.
Caitlyn’s father passes the microphone to Vi, and Vi steps up to speak. Caitlyn’s heart beats faster as she watches Vi, her eyes running over the alpha as she stands in front of everyone.
“Thanks, Mr. Kiramman. Thank you all for coming tonight. Like he said, we have one more celebration to get to in a few days, so be ready” she says, her voice confident as she looks out at the crowd. Her eyes flick to Caitlyn as she speaks, and she smiles slightly as she sees her omega’s face start to flush with color.
Vi’s smile widens slightly as she sees Caitlyn’s cheeks flush with color, and she lets her voice drop a little bit as she speaks.
“Caitlyn and I appreciate everyone coming tonight to celebrate this moment with us. We’re happy to have everyone here with us” she says, her voice a little deeper but more sensual.
Caitlyn bites her lip, unable to help herself as she holds onto Vi’s arm. She’s feeling so hot under her alpha’s gaze.
Caitlyn freezes as she sees Vi tense, her body going rigid as an unknown voice speaks up from the crowd. She feels Vi’s body go rigid, her heart thumping faster as she sees Vi’s hands start to clench into fists.
“What a joke.” the stranger says, his voice full of disgust. As the stranger moves through the crowd Vi can see it’s Silco.
Silco continues on, stepping through the crowd towards the stage.
“This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. What’s the point of all of this? You’re just pretending to unite the cities, but you could never. It could never be you. It has to be me. I SHOULD BE THE LEADER. I SHOULD BE MARRYING CAITLYN.” he says, his voice full of anger as he looks at the crowd.
Caitlyn can feel her blood start to burn as Silco talks, and she looks at Vi. She can see Vi is seething with anger, hands clenched into fists as she listens to Silco.
Caitlyn’s heart is pounding harder as she sees Vi clench her fists. She can feel the rage simmering under the surface, and she’s afraid Vi is going to do something stupid.
Vi’s voice cuts through the air, her voice deep and full of anger.
“SHUT UP.” she snarls, her voice cutting through the room. “Caitlyn and I are getting married in a few days, and there’s NOTHING you can do or say about it. You’re not going to ruin this day.”
Silco chuckles mockingly at Vi’s anger, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he speaks.
“Oh, of course you would say that. You’re just scared you’re going to lose Caitlyn to me.” he says, his eyes still locked on the two of them as he speaks. “I’m the better alpha, and it would only be natural for Caitlyn to want to be with me instead.”
Caitlyn can feel her heart race as Silco continues to speak, his words making her blood boil. She looks at Vi, seeing the anger in her eyes as she moves to step in front of her omega.
Caitlyn's inner omega feels a swell of pride as she sees Vi's alpha instincts start to kick in, the need to protect her overwhelming anything else. She stands behind her alpha, clutching at Vi's arm as the two of them face Silco together.
She just hopes Vi doesn't do anything stupid.
Caitlyn steps up to stand beside Vi, her voice confident as she speaks.
"Silco, you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not going to marry you, I'm going to marry Vi. There's no question about it. I don't care what you say or do, you're never going to take me away from Vi. You're never going to win. So you might as well give up on all of this." she says, her voice clear and strong as she addresses Silco.
Caitlyn can feel Silco's anger growing, and her grip on Vi tightens as she feels the tension grow.
"You're a fool, Caitlyn. You're going to regret this." he says, his eyes narrowing as he steps closer to the two of them. His eyes run over Caitlyn's body, and he smirks.
Out of no where the lights in the room go out, making it pitch black. There are sounds of screams and glass shattering. When the lights come back on a couple minutes later, Vi, Caitlyn, and Silco are no where to be found.
Caitlyn and Vi must’ve been out for several hours because now they appear to be in a dark and damp room, and she looks around in the darkness, trying to figure out where they were. She's aware of the way her arms are trapped behind her back, and she realizes her hands and feet are bound along.
But she's still standing beside Vi, and she looks at her alpha, trying to see her face in the dimly lit room.
"Vi? Are you okay?" she whispers, her heart beating in her ears as she tries to make sense of things.
Caitlyn's heart skips a beat as she realizes Vi is unconscious, and fear grips her tight and makes her breath catch in her throat. Her eyes move over her alpha, seeing Vi slump over, unconscious.
"Vi, please. Please wake up." she whispers as she tries to free her hands, her body trembling as she looks around, trying to figure out where they are.
She's scared of what might happen, and she's scared about what will happen to Vi if she doesn't wake up.
Caitlyn whips around as she hears the door open, her body tensing up as fear grips at her again.
She looks at the door, seeing Silco step into the room along with several henchmen. She sees Silco looks pleased with himself, his eyes running over her as he steps closer.
She backs up a little, still trying to free her hands from the ropes around her wrists. She holds back a grimace as the ropes dig into her skin.
"What do you want, Silco?"
Silco smirks at Caitlyn as he steps closer, still watching her with a creepy look in his eyes. He reaches out and touches her face, his fingers brushing her cheek roughly as he leans in close.
"I want to marry you, Caitlyn. You're the perfect bride for me." he says, his voice sounding confident as he touches her.
Caitlyn yanks her head away from Silco, disgusted by the feeling of his hand on her face.
"No, no. I'm not marrying you. I'm marrying Vi. I don't know what you're doing, but you need to let us go." she says, her voice full of defiance as she speaks. She tugs at the ropes, trying to pull them off.
Silco keeps a firm hold on her, not letting go as he leans into her again.
"You'll be my bride. Whether you like it or not." he says, his voice dark.
Caitlyn watches as Vi's eyes start to open, and her heart leaps into her throat as she sees her alpha come back to the world around them.
Her eyes flick up to Silco, still not letting go of her. She tenses as she sees Vi's eyes open, not sure how Silco will react.
"Vi! Wake up, baby. I'm here. We need to get out of here." she whispers, trying to keep her voice level as her hands continue to pull at the ropes around her wrists.
Vi's eyes focus a little better, and she can see Silco leaning into Caitlyn, his hand on her face. She can see the fear in her omega's eyes and her blood burns.
"LET GO OF HER!" she shouts, a low growl rumbling in her chest. Her legs ache as she tries to move, the ropes digging in and making her wince.
Caitlyn watches as Silco's henchmen hit Vi to shut her up, her heart thumping in her chest as she sees blood spray onto the floor. For a moment it's like her world slows down, all her focus on stopping Silco and his men from hurting her alpha.
"STOP!" she screams, trying desperately to get free. Her arms hurt from the strain on them as she tries to free herself. "Please, stop! Don't hurt her. Don't hurt her, please." She begs them to stop hurting her alpha.
Silco watches as his men drag Vi into a separate room, leaving Caitlyn and him alone for now.
Caitlyn watches as they do, her heart pounding harder as she sees Vi dragged away. She turns to look back at Silco, her eyes wide as she sees him watching her.
Her voice is tense, and she can hardly speak as he looks at her.
"What are you going to do to her? Where are you taking her?" she asks, her voice shaking a bit as she speaks.
Silco gives Caitlyn a smirk as she speaks, his eyes still filled with that cruel desire as he watches her. He leans in close to her as he responds.
"She's just being punished for touching something that's mine. It's her own fault, really." he says, his hand moving to touch Caitlyn's face. "But I'm sure she'll be fine."
Caitlyn pulls away from Silco's hand as he touches her, and she looks up at him with defiant eyes. She stares at him, her voice low as she speaks.
"I don't belong to you. You have no right to do this, Silco." she says, glaring at him. Her hands continue to pull at the ropes, trying to get free. "You need to let me go."
They both pause as they hear a scream from the room Vi is in.
Caitlyn freezes as she hears Vi scream, and every bit of her inner omega is on edge. Her heart is pounding as she hears her alpha scream, and her hands pull desperately at the ropes binding her hands.
"What are they doing to Vi? Let me go!" she says, her voice low and desperate. She stares at Silco with hard eyes, her breathing getting faster as she hears Vi scream again. "Please, Silc- Just let me go." she says, her voice breaking from fear of what they could be doing to her alpha.
Caitlyn feels Silco's finger run across her cheek, his touch making her shiver with disgust. Silco's eyes stay locked on her as he speaks.
"If you don't agree to be my bride, I will have no problem making sure you and Vi feel the same punishment." he says, his hand moving to her neck as he holds her still. "And even if you do agree, who's to say you won't change your mind?"
He tilts her head up towards him as he looks at her, his voice full of threat as he continues.
Caitlyn can tell Silco is about to punch her in her side, and she braces herself for the impact. She takes a deep breath, her eyes locked on his as she speaks.
"Wait, wait!" she says, her voice desperate. “Please don’t, I’m pregnant." she says, a note of desperation in her voice as she speaks.
Caitlyn stares at Silco, her heart in her throat as she sees the look of surprise and then interest in his eyes. She continues to pull at the ropes, but her hands and ankles are bound so she can't get free.
She watches Silco's face as he steps back, his eyes roaming over her.
"Pregnant, you say?" he says, his eyes still roaming over her. His eyes fixate on her stomach as his lips turn into a twisted smirk. "Well, that changes things, doesn't it?”
Caitlyn watches as Silco storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him. She hears him shout something, but she's not sure what.
She looks back towards where Vi had been taken, and her heart twists again. She's not sure if Vi is okay, or if Silco had actually gone to find her.
But whatever the case, she's not going to give up. She'll find a way out of this, and she'll find Vi if it's the last thing she does.
Silco walks into the room, his eyes locked on Vi as she's held in the same position. He looks her over as he steps closer, his eyes focused on her.
"Well well well Vi. It seems you have been quite… busy huh?" he says, his voice cold as he watches Vi with a smirk.
Vi looks at Silco, looking confused and angry as hell. Her head feels fuzzy and she's in pain from the punches that she's taken, but she's not willing to give up.
"What are you going on about? Let Caitlyn and I go, you bastard." She says, her voice filled with anger. Her fists clench around the ropes holding her wrists.
Silco holds Vi's eyes as he speaks, his voice sounding confident and almost cocky.
"Caitlyn tells me she's pregnant. You've been busy, haven't you? You're going to have a child, and yet you expect to be married in a few days? Well, unfortunately for her, that's not going to happen." he says, his voice cocky as he speaks. "I think we can come to an agreement, Vi. Don't you?"
Vi stares at Silco in complete shock as she hears what he says. Caitlyn's pregnant? She can't believe it. Her stomach drops, and for a moment it's hard to breathe.
But then a fire lights inside her, and she looks up at Silco with fury in her eyes.
"You touch her, and I will kill you. Do you understand?" she says, her voice filled with fury. She tries to break free out of the ropes still holding her back, the ropes digging in tight around her wrists.
"You don't have to worry about that. I won't touch her." Silco says, his voice smooth and confident as he continues to talk to Vi. "In fact, I have a proposition for you." he says, his eyes lighting up as he speaks.
Vi's mind continues to race as she looks at him, feeling completely off balance. What kind of proposition was he going to offer her?
"What do you want?" Vi asks, a little bit of caution in her voice as she stares at Silco. She's not sure what he has to offer, but she's not ready to make any deals. "And what do you want with Caitlyn? What do you want in return for letting her go?"
Silco laughs in a sinister way as he watches Vi. He's clearly amused by her, and a sly smile plays on his lips.
"Oh, I think you know what I want, Vi. I want you to work for me. And in return I will let Caitlyn and your future pup go."
"One more thing, Vi." he says, stepping closer to her. He leans down and speaks softly into her ear.
"You can never see Caitlyn again and I will not bother her again. I will let you say goodbye but after that absolutely no contact and no contact with your future pup" he says, making Vi's heart skip a beat. For a moment she just stares at Silco, her eyes wide. "That is the only way we can make this work."
For a moment she is speechless, but she looks over at the door where Caitlyn is. She doesn't know if she can live without her. How could she accept this?
Tears spill down Vi's cheek as she looks at Silco, hearing the condition added to the deal. To never see Caitlyn again, to never see their future pup? She can feel her heart breaking even more as she thinks about Caitlyn, the love of her life.
She knows she can't leave Caitlyn, that she loves her. But she also loves their future pup that they have together, and she doesn't want to lose that either.
"No," she whispers, her voice breaking as she tries to keep herself under control, "No I ca-can't accept that offer."
Silco laughs a mean and cruel laugh as he looks at Vi, he's clearly enjoying tormenting her like this.
"You see Vi, I'm not one to make idle threats." he says, his voice smooth and confident as he speaks."You have ten minutes to make a choice. You either take me up on my offer-" he says, his voice low and cruel as he speaks. "Or I kill your beloved Caitlyn and your unborn pup and I will take care of everyone and everything that means something to you. You wouldn't want that would you?"
Vi stays there, her eyes locked on Silco as he speaks. She knows Silco isn't joking, he's not lying. Her heart is breaking even more as she hears his ultimatum.
She can hear Caitlyn crying now, the sounds of her omega's sobs breaking her heart even further. But she knows what she has to do, it's her only option.
"Please… give me five minutes alone with Caitlyn." she asks, her voice breaking as she speaks.
After a moment, Silco nods and agrees to Vi's request. A smug smile appears on his face as he looks Vi over.
"Very well, Vi. I'll give you five minutes alone with Caitlyn." he says, stepping away from her to give her space.
After a moment, Vi watches as Silco leaves the room as one of his henchmen untie her leaving her alone. She's not sure when or if he will come back before her time is up.
Caitlyn is pushed into the room with Vi, her hands untied as the henchman closes the door. As soon as she hears the door click shut she looks over at Vi, her eyes wide as she looks at the alpha.
She can see her cheeks are still glistening from her tears, as she steps closer to Vi.
"Vi…" she says, her voice shaking a little but she manages to hold it together.
Caitlyn moves closer to Vi, her lips quivering as she tries to speak.
"Wha-what's going on? Where did he go? What did he say? Vi, what's going on?" she says, her voice low and a bit panicked as she tries to ask her questions.
Her eyes search Vi's face, trying to figure out what was happening. She's desperate to know what is going on, a little scared as well.
Vi’s mind is racing with a thousand thoughts a minute but the only word that is consistently on her mind is “pregnant”.
Vi looks at Caitlyn with watery eyes. “Is it true? Are you truly pregnant?” She says as her voice breaks.
Caitlyn sees Vi's tears in her eyes as the question comes out, and the pain in her voice makes her heart feel like it's being squeezed. She's desperate to get closer to Vi, to make sure she's okay.
"Y-Yes." she says, her voice shaking as she speaks. "I'm pregnant, Vi. I'm pregnant with your pup." she says, her hands going to her stomach as she looks at Vi. "We're going to be parents."
Caitlyn watches Vi's tears as they spill down her face, feeling her stomach turn as her alpha cries like
this.
She moves closer to her, her arms wrapping around the alpha as she pulls her close. She's not sure what to say, she's not sure what is happening. But right now she just needs to comfort her alpha.
Vi feels herself finally able to catch her breath, she wipes the tears from her eyes as she sees Caitlyn in front of her. She places her palm to her swollen belly, the closest she’ll ever get to their unborn child.
“I made a deal with Silco, it was the only way” she blurts out, she had to rush her sentence out afraid she wouldn’t be able to get the words out.
Caitlyn keeps her arms around Vi, and she can feel the alpha's breathing slowing down as she calms from her emotions. She also feels a bit calmer now that Vi is closer, the alpha's scent helping to calm her.
But then she hears Vi's words, the alpha admitting that she already made a deal with Silco. Her stomach drops, her heart pounding as she hears those words.
"You- you made a deal?" she says, her voice still shaky from her tears. "W-What did you agree to?"
Vi cups Caitlyn’s face with both hands, her thumbs caressing her cheek bones. “I-I” she begins but the words lost in her throat.
“He was going to kill you, our pup, then me. I couldn’t let him.” She said as the tears flow from her eyes and she studied Caitlyn’s face for the last time
Caitlyn can't help but be comforted by Vi's hands caressing her face, her heart twisting as she sees the tears on Vi's face. She keeps her eyes locked on Vi's, her stomach sinking even further at what Vi says.
"So that's what he wanted? He- he was going to kill me, our pup, and then you?" she says, her voice filled with pain as she thinks about what would have happened. "Vi...what deal did you make?" she asks, the pain twisting inside her as she thinks about what Silco wanted to do.
“I-I… I agreed to work for him, he’s the leader of the under city now, Zaun is what he’s calling it.” Vi sobs in between sentences, she can feel her heart breaking.
“I agreed to work for him in exchange he will leave you alone to raise our pup but I can never see or talk to you again or he’ll follow through with his threat.” Vi studies Caitlyn’s face as she breaks both of their hearts.
Caitlyn feels her heart completely sink in her chest as she hears the deal Vi made. She can feel the pain in her chest as Vi tells her what the terms of the deal are.
"Vi, no- no you can't-" she says, her voice cracking with pain as she speaks. Her breathing comes in shorter as she thinks about what Vi said. "You can't- I-I can't lose you too, please- don't leave me." She continues to plead, her voice shaking as she tries to talk.
Vi continues holding Caitlyn’s face, their face inches from one another. “I love you Caitlyn Kiramman, I have from the first night I met you. You are going to be an incredible mother.” She says sobbing
Caitlyn watches as the tears continue to pour down Vi's cheeks as she waits for her to say something more, anything that would make her stay.
But then the door swings open, and Silco stands there waiting. “I gave you more time than you required,” he said sternly. “Say goodbye now.”
Caitlyn feels her heart break completely, feeling as if she can’t breathe as she feels the reality of the situation crush her. A choked sob breaks from her throat as she looks back to Vi.
She doesn’t want to say goodbye, doesn’t want to accept that this is the end. Her voice comes out as a pained whisper, the words barely choking past the lump in her throat.
“I- I love you Vi. Please-”
“I love you Caitlyn” she says as she tries to take in the sight of Caitlyn one last time.
With a sob, Caitlyn wraps her arms around Vi's neck and pulls her close in a desperate attempt to memorize her touch. She can feel her whole body shaking as she hugs Vi, desperate to keep her close.
"I love you Vi, please stay. Please-" she pleads, the tears making her words come out choked and garbled.
While she's being escorted back to top side, Caitlyn is barely able to control herself. Her sobs continue to roll through her as Vi gets farther and farther away.
"Violet Please!" she cries out, trying to look over her shoulders to her alpha. She can't believe that she'll never see Vi again, the pain so great it feels as if it will break her.
