Sneak Away

Caitlyn returns Vi's small smile and stands up as they walk out together hand in hand, signaling for Vi to follow her. They make their way through the crowded room to the exit, politely declining requests to talk or pose for pictures. Once they're out in the hallway, Caitlyn leads Vi to a quiet side room where they can be alone. She closes the door behind them, shutting out the noise of the party and the intrusive eyes of the topsiders.

Vi looks around the room, it’s quite the romantic setting. A single table with 2 chairs across from one another, the room lowly lit by a couple of lights on the walls and candles on the table. “How did you know about this room?” Vi asks.

Caitlyn can sense Vi's nervousness, and she feels it too. The room is indeed romantic, and being alone with Vi like this is an unexpected but welcome turn of events.

"I've been coming to galas and parties in this venue for as long as I can remember," she replies as she makes her way over to the table. "This room is one of my favorite places to hide when the crowd gets too much."

Vi sits down at the table across from her betrothed, clearly nervous as she who is an unmated alpha is alone with an unmated omega. As much as Vi wants to put on a tough face and act coldly towards Caitlyn. She simply is incapable of doing so, her future mate’s scent suffocates her nostrils. Vi’s resolve weakens, their close proximity clearly having an effect on her.

Caitlyn notices the shift in Vi's demeanor, the tension in her body. She can see the way Vi's gaze lingers on her, the way her nostrils flare as she takes in Caitlyn's scent.

Caitlyn isn't immune to the effect Vi's presence is having on her either. Her eyes linger on Vi for a beat too long, and her heart beats faster in her chest. She takes a deep breath, hoping to steady herself.

They sit in silence for a moment, the air between them thick with unspoken tension. Finally, Caitlyn decides to break the silence, her voice soft and hesitant. "So... what do you want to talk about?"

Vi can’t help but watch Caitlyn’s lips as she speaks, not registering what she said until a moment after she finishes her sentence. “Oh… Ahem” she says slightly clearing her throat “I didn’t have anything in particular in mind. I just thought we should talk in private to get to know each other better for the sake of our union.”

Caitlyn notices how Vi's eyes linger on her lips, and she can't deny the spark of electricity that flutters in her stomach at the attention. She clears her throat as well, composing herself before replying, "Right... for the sake of our union..."

There's a moment of silence as they both struggle to ignore the strange pull between them. Caitlyn takes a breath and tries to focus on the task at hand.

She studies Vi across the table for a moment, her eyes wandering over her features. "Can I ask you something personal?"

Vi feels a wave of anxiety wash over her at Caitlyn’s request. Not sure where her question might lead but it definitely peaks her curiosity. “Um yeah, ask away” she says nervously

Caitlyn watches Vi's expression, noticing the hint of anxiety in her eyes. She doesn't want to make Vi uncomfortable, but she has to know. "Why do you call me cupcake?" she asks curiously. "It almost sounds like a term of affection, but coming from you, it feels laced with sarcasm."

Vi lets out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding. She lets out a soft chuckle, “that’s not what I thought you were going to ask” she says as she wipes her sweaty palms on her pants.

Caitlyn can't help but notice Vi's reaction. The breath she lets out, the nervous chuckle that follows. She smiles a little, relieved that her question didn't make Vi too uncomfortable.

"Well, now you got me curious. What did you think I was going to ask?" she asks, teasing gently.

Vi rubs the back of her neck nervously with a hint of embarrassment. “Oh nothing, I thought it was just going to be a little more personal, you know?” Vi says as she chuckles.

Caitlyn raises an eyebrow, a playful smile crossing her lips. "Are you saying that this question wasn't personal enough? I can ask something even more intimate, if you'd prefer?" she teases. She watches as Vi rubs the back of her neck, enjoying the sight of Vi being a little flustered.

“Well if you must know, it’s cause I think you’re sweet, like a cupcake” Vi says blushing

Caitlyn's smile widens at Vi's explanation. "A cupcake, huh?" she repeats, her voice soft.

Hearing Vi's reasoning makes her feel a little flustered, a different kind of heat rising to her cheeks. She reaches across the table, instinctively wanting to touch Vi's hand, but she stops herself, her fingers hovering just an inch or two away from Vi's.

"Can I ask you another question?" she asks, her voice quieter now.

Caitlyn’s gesture doesn’t go unnoticed, it made Vi’s body heat up as she thought Caitlyn was going to reach for her hand. Then it made her stomach drop when she didn’t, the realization that she longs for Caitlyn’s touch gave her mixed feelings. “Of course” Vi says as she studies the face of her future mate.

Caitlyn notices the way Vi reacts to her almost-contact, and it makes her heart skip a beat. She can't help but appreciate the fact that Vi seems to be just as affected by this growing connection between them. She swallows, her throat suddenly dry, and tries to focus on the question she had.

"You said you were an open book, and I'm curious about something." Her voice is low, her eyes locked onto Vi’s

She takes a deep breath and asks a question that's been on her mind since the moment they first came face to face.

"What are your honest thoughts on this marriage?"

Vi ponders the question for a moment, she looks down as she fiddles with the silverware on the table. Her mind races of a thousand different responses, a thousand reasons to detest this marriage. But as she looks back at Caitlyn, she can’t fathom a single excuse not to marry the commander.

After a long pause Vi finally speaks up “when it was first suggested, I tried to shut the idea down immediately, ruler of the undercity and commander of the enforcers couldn’t possibly work” she says , her face grim.

“But the more I thought about it, it could be the only way to create peace like real peace” she says as she continues still fiddling with her silverware.

She sighs and finds Caitlyn’s eyes again “I’ve only wanted what was best for my people as I’m sure you do, look I never saw myself willingly enter an arranged marriage as I’m sure you didn’t either. But if this is truly the only way to unite our two sides then maybe we owe it to our people to do it even if it’s difficult” Vi says in a serious yet somber tone.

Caitlyn listens intently, her eyes never leaving Vi's face as she speaks. She hears the uncertainty, the hesitation in Vi's voice, but she also hears the resolve. And that's what impresses her.

Vi's commitment to her people, her willingness to sacrifice her own happiness for the greater good. Caitlyn can't help but admire that, even if their marriage is one of convenience.

"What about... love?" She finally asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "Can there be love in a union like this?"

Vi finds her courage and reaches out her hand from across the table and finds Caitlyn’s. As she runs her thumb across her hand, she holds Caitlyn’s gaze “I think that’s the one thing we owe to ourselves, see if there can be love and happiness in this duty and convenience filled arrangement” she says as they look at eachother very intensely.

Caitlyn feels her breath catch in her chest as Vi reaches to hold her hand. The feeling of Vi's thumb gently gliding across her skin sets her heart racing. She doesn't pull away from the touch, instead, she meets Vi's gaze with equal intensity.

"I couldn't agree more," she agrees softly. She lets her gaze fall briefly to their joined hands before returning to Vi's eyes.

"Maybe then this will be worth it," she says quietly, a hint of hope in her voice.

Vi flashes a Caitlyn a small smile “I really hope so” she says. “I have to ask, how do you feel about being in this arrangement with me?” Vi asks wanting Caitlyn’s honest opinion about their situation.

Caitlyn takes a moment before answering, her thumb gently stroking Vi's hand. "To be honest, I was dreading it," she admits, her voice soft.

"The thought of marrying a stranger and giving up any hope of a love match... it was hard to accept." She pauses, swallowing the lump in her throat.

"But now..." she continues, her voice growing softer. "Now that I've met you, I can't help but feel a little hopeful. That maybe it won't be so bad."

Vi smiles as she looks down at their now intertwined fingers then she looks back up at Caitlyn. Feeling a little more confident around her future mate, she decides to test the waters.

“Oh yeah and why do you say maybe it won’t be so bad?” Vi says in a flirtatious tone.

Caitlyn's eyes widen slightly as Vi's tone shifts, becoming more flirtatious. She can feel her cheeks redden at Vi's words, and her heart flutters ever so slightly.

She lets out a small laugh, her free hand running through her hair nervously. "Well, I have to admit..." she starts, her voice low and sultry.

"You do have *some* good qualities." A teasing glint in her eyes.

A smile tugs at the corner of Vi’s lips, she feels her cheeks heat up. “Oh yeah cupcake? And what might those qualities be?” Vi says adding to the flirtatious banter they have going.

Caitlyn laughs again, the sound light and musical. She leans in a little closer, her eyes now sparkling mischievously.

"Well, you're not bad to look at," she says, her voice low but playful.

"Tall, brooding... And your lips look very soft." She lifts a hand slightly to run her thumb across Vi's lips, feeling a small rush go through her body.

As Caitlyn touches her lips with her thumb, it sends a pang of want straight to Vi’s cock. The longer Caitlyn looks at her this way, the more turned on she gets.

“Oh yeah cupcake? Why don’t you come over here and feel how soft they are?” She says as her gaze flicks between Caitlyn’s eyes and her lips.

Caitlyn swallows hard, her pupils dilating as she hears Vi's invitation. She knows they're treading on dangerous territory here, but somehow she doesn't care. All she can think about is the woman in front of her, and how much she craves to close the gap between them.

She stands up slowly, letting go of Vi's hand and making her way around the table. When she stands in front of Vi, her gaze locked onto her lips, she places a hand on Vi's shoulder for balance.

"Don't move," she whispers, her voice husky.

Caitlyn leans down as their faces are mere inches from one another, Vi places a hand on her waist pulling her closer as she surges her lips.

Caitlyn gasps as Vi pulls her closer, her free hand moving to cup Vi's cheek. The feeling of Vi's lips pressed against hers is both thrilling and overwhelming, like a spark of electricity coursing through her veins.

She leans into the kiss, her body moving on instinct as she deepens it. The taste of Vi's lips on her own sends a rush of heat through her body, and she finds it increasingly difficult to remember why they shouldn't be doing this.

Losing herself in the kiss that finally sates the heat that's been slowly building between them since they first locked eyes.

As the kiss grows more intense, Vi feels herself get harder and harder. She pulls Caitlyn onto her lap seeking some sort of touch, friction…anything. She pushes her tongue past Caitlyn’s lips, seeking to deepen the kiss. Vi places her hands on the commanders hips as she moves her hips at a relentless pace causing Caitlyn’s core to rub against Vi’s throbbing cock.

Caitlyn lets out a soft gasp against Vi's lips, feeling the heat between them growing. She feels Vi pull her onto her lap, and she doesn't resist, instead she straddles Vi, her legs on either side of Vi's waist.

When Vi's tongue pushes past her lips, she lets them part, welcoming her with a soft moan. Her hands run hungrily over Vi's shoulders, down her arms, the touch feverish and hungry. When she feels Vi's hips buck up, she grinds against her, panting into her mouth.

Caitlyn can barely remember where she is anymore, or who she is. The only thing on her mind, the only thing she can think of, is Vi and how good she feels against her.

Her body responds to Vi's touch as if it were made for it. She moans softly against Vi's lips, arching her back as Vi's hands on her hips guide her movements. Caitlyn breaks away from the kiss, gasping for air, but still remaining in Vi's lap.

"Vi..." she whispers, her voice ragged and breathless from the intensity that's building between them.

“Cait…” she responds not even able to get her full name out before she moans into her mouth again. “You feel so good, so fucking good, we should stop…before…before I lose control” Vi breathes out as her chest heaves up and down trying to catch her breath.

Caitlyn feels Vi's words as much as she hears them. The feeling of Vi underneath her, all firm muscles and heated skin, takes her breath away.
Each one of Vi's breaths sends a warm shiver down her spine, and her mind is consumed by Vi's touch.

"God yes, you're right," she whispers, but she doesn't move from her spot in Vi's lap. She can't bring herself to stop, even though they both knows they should. Her fingers dig into Vi's shoulders again, holding her close. "But please, I don't want to stop."

Caitlyn leans her forehead against Vi's, her breathing ragged and her body trembling. She knows Vi's right, they should stop. This is all happening too fast, and they barely know each other.

But the way Vi's hands feel on her hips, the lust in her voice, it's driving Caitlyn crazy. She doesn't want it to stop.

"Vi, I..." she starts, her voice hoarse. "I don't think I can stop."

There’s a change in the air, the scent of the venue replaced by lust and desire and… Vi sniffs the air noticing the change. “Oh my god…” she breathes out “I…I think I triggered your heat, y-you smell so fucking…good” Vi says to her as her grip on Caitlyn’s waist gets tighter.

Caitlyn's eyes widen at Vi's revelation, a sudden realization sinking in. She's in heat, the potent smell of her omega pheromones filling the air.

She lets out a whimper as Vi's grip on her tightens, her body reacting instinctively to the alpha's touch. It feels almost euphoric, the way her body burns for Vi.

"Vi..." she breathes out, her voice tinged with desperation. "I need you."

Caitlyn looks up at Vi with wide eyes, her breath catching in her throat. Her cheeks flush as it sinks in that Vi's touch is causing her body to react in ways it never has before. The scent of hers and Vi's desire filling the room, making it hard to think clearly.

"I... I didn't think I would go into heat until after our wedding," she says slowly, her voice wavering. "I didn't even bring my heat suppressants with me."

Vi moans, she can feel pre cum pooling at the tip of her cock. “W-what should we do?” Vi asks with very little self control left.

*God, that moan...*

Caitlyn bites her lip, her body responding to Vi's desires with a wave of heat. "We can't just... we're still basically in public, someone could walk in at any time..." she protests, but every inch of her is screaming to let go.

In that moment, Caitlyn knows they should stop, but she doesn't push herself away. She instead leans into Vi, her hands wandering over Vi's arms, feeling the way her muscles tense under her touch. Her voice is barely a whisper. "We need to stop because if we start, I won’t be able to say no to your knot… or your cum inside of me”

They rest their foreheads on each others still panting as they look at each other intensely. “Okay…okay you’re right, fuck this is hard.” Vi says as she tries to catch her breath.

Caitlyn takes a deep breath, steadying herself as she pulls away from Vi. It's difficult, but they both know they need to end this here and now.

"I feel like I'm on fire," she says, her voice soft but still shaking slightly. "We have to wait until our honeymoon. We can't let our instincts control us."

Just the thought of waiting, however long that might be, makes Caitlyn's core ache with need.

She slides off of Vi's lap, her body aching at the loss of contact. She can't deny the way Vi's proximity affects her; if they stay like this, there's no telling what might happen.

"We should... we should call it a night," she says, reluctantly, the words feeling like nails on a chalkboard.

Caitlyn's heart is still racing, her body still on fire from their encounter. But Vi's suggestion makes her pause, the reminder of her heat and her lack of a mate crashing back into her mind.

She sighs, reluctantly admitting that Vi is right. "You're probably right, it'd be safer if you drove me home... But do you think you can keep control for that long?" she asks, knowing full well how difficult it is going to be for the both them.

Vi stands up and almost doubles over as she feels her arousal and how tight her pants suddenly are. She starts panting more. “I-I certainly hope so” she says as she grips her stomach almost as if she’s in pain. She pulls on her boxers through her pant legs in an attempt to ease the…discomfort with no success.

Caitlyn watches Vi squirm, noticing how tightly the pants hug Vi's arousal. She blushes as she takes it in, her core growing hot and wet at the sight.

Her eyes widen at the sight of Vi's obvious discomfort. She bites her lip on a moan as she watches Vi adjust herself, unable to look away. She can feel her heat growing stronger, her skin now burning all over.

But she knows they need to get out of here. She swallows, her words breathy with the lust that still burns in her body.

"Come on, Vi. We need to leave. Now."
