The Planning
On the outskirts of Blazewood, we see a group of people waiting in a bar for the others to arrive. We see one who’s preparing drinks for the guest, another sipping his own drink, the other in the back of the bar reading a romantic manga, and the last person is getting desperate by the second.
Lucy: How much more will it take for these people to get here? Not even the one who planned this thing is here yet?! ( She says with an irritated voice)
Burnice: Now, now, Lucy. There's no need to get irritated; I’m sure they’ll arrive shortly. How about I make you a drink to pass the time?
Lucy: No thanks, Burnice. The last thing I want is for me to be knocked by one of your drinks before they arrive.
Lighter: If you aren’t going for it, can I have another Burnice? I’m almost done with mine.
Lucy: Whatever. Hey Caesar? Have you received any word from the others or Piper?
Caesar, oblivious to Lucy’s question, is focused on her manga.
Caesar: (Reading her manga) Omg!! Did he plan this party for her? Omg!! Caesar? Can we do something similar for the proxies? Caesar!! I got to read more. How about this or that or-
Lucy: CAESAR!!!
Caesar jumps in surprise.
Caesar: Lucy? What was that for? You almost gave me a heart attack?
Lucy: You didn’t answer my question when I called you. I'm so sorry, but you were focused on your romance manga and didn't even notice I was calling you.
Caesar: Sorry about that. Anyways, what was the question again?
Before Lucy could repeat herself, a loud horn was heard from the outside, so the Sons of Calydon went out and noticed Piper’s truck arrive.
Piper: Here we are. Welcome back to some, and welcome to the others. I hope the ride wasn’t bumpy. ( She says before almost falling asleep )
Harumasa: Mmmmm, that was a good sleep. Sorry that I was sleeping on you, big guy.
Ben: Oh, don’t worry about that, Mr. Harumasa. That stuff always happens to me with my coworkers after a busy day. So, I’m pretty used to having people sleep on me.
Soukaku: Nagi~~ can we get some food? I’m hungry!!
Yanagi: We’ll get some later, Sokaku. You were eating on the way here beforehand, and I don’t want you to get sick.
Soukaku: Ok!!
Koleda: Huh, so this is the Outer Ring? It’s certainly got its art here. How have you all managed to live for so long here?
Grace: It’s certainly something here. With so much material lying around, I bet I could build a perfect child for the people here!!
Koleda: Relax, Grace. We’re not here to build anything. We came to discuss the party preparations.
Anton: Hey bro!! What’s up, how have you been? ( He says as he goes to greet Lighter )
Miyabi: It feels much safer now than when we dropped by previously.
Caesar: Hey, everyone, welcome to the Outer Ring.
When she says that, a PUBSEC car drops by, and we see the investigation team- Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Seth, and Jane Doe- come out of the car.
Jane: Hi there, darlings~~. Sorry for the delay; convincing this workaholic to come with us was difficult.
Seth: I’m not a workaholic. I thought it wasn’t a good idea for me to come. I was willing to stay behind and cover for you all. What happens if there’s an emergency and none of us are there to help?
Qingyi: Relax, Seth. I’m sure PUBSEC will be fine without us 4, or do you have that little faith in them?
Seth: No, I don’t. I believe they will be fine, but I just wanted to stay so they could have more reinforcement if something happened.
Zhu Yuan: Alright, knock it off, you two. Don’t bully him and Seth. You have to relax. I’m sure that PUBSEC would be fine without us. Besides, you have never had any vacations or free time so this is your best choice.
Jane: Says the other workaholic~~
Zhu Yuan: HEY!!!
Before Zhu could reprimand Jane for saying that, a car pops up, and from there comes the one who planned this whole thing, Nicole Demara. As well as Billy.
Nicole: Hey all. I'm so glad you could all make it today. I’m sorry if I changed any of your plans last minute, but I felt this was necessary. So, do we go inside to plan everything out?
Harumasa: Don’t worry, Nicole. This is fine; there is no need to overthink it. Besides, we had nothing to do anyway.
Yanagi: What do you mean by that, Harumasa? You still had a lot of paperwork that needed to be filled out. And even then, you planned to come here without telling us. It was good that Nicole messaged Miyabi about it before you sneaked out and came here alone.
Harumasa: Come on, chief, you don’t have to say it like that. I just wanted to save you all the worry of coming over. ( He says in a defeated tone before going inside the bar )
Miyabi: Do not worry about him, Nicole. He is always acting this way. Anyway, let's go inside and discuss this party.
Billy: Man, I forgot these people in section 6 are weird.
Inside the bar, we see everyone sitting at a table, all facing the person who planned all of this. We see Burnice handing out drinks to some (some drink them and others have questioning look) and giving food to Soukaku, who instantly starts to dig into her food the second it is placed on her.
Nicole: Ok, people. I might have repeated this, but thank you for coming over and helping with the planning.
Anton: No worries, the proxies are always bros, so if it involves them, then that’s all I need to hear to help out.
Zhu Yuan: Before we start, what happened with Victorian Housekeeping? They haven't arrived yet.
Nicole: Oh, about that. They told me they got a last minute commission, so they won't be able to attend today. But they said they were willing to help out with the organization and running of the party. As well as to assist any one of you all in case you have trouble gathering supplies.
Qingyi: Fair enough. They are the ones who get commissions from the higher-ups. No wonder they couldn't make it, but their help will be appreciated later on.
Nicole: Moving on. The main reason why I wanted to throw this party for the proxies is because when we saw them, they looked tense. Another reason is that they have done so much for all of us, so it’s only fair that we give them back for everything they did.
Yanagi: We in Section 6 are happy to help with this plan. But how are we going to divide the work? Who’s going to be responsible for what? And when should this party be held?
Nicole: That’s why I brought you all here to discuss. I already have a way to divide everything, but I wanted your opinion and see if you wanted to change it.
Lucy: Alright then, hit us with it.
Nicole: Alright then. So, I would like to have Section 6 handle the place for the party. The food would be left in charge of the PUBSEC guys. Belobog, you will be in charge of the decoration. And lastly, Sons of Calydon, you guys are in charge of the entertainment and activities for the party. As well as Victorian Housekeeping will be the main organizers and the ones who will run the party. Any questions or concerns?
Burnice: Oh, oh, I have one. Can I be in charge of the drinks?!
The Sons of Calydon flinch at the moment Burnice asks that question. Knowing her antics and the “drinks” she makes, they make faces to Nicole to NOT allow her to be in charge of it.
Nicole: Ah, we’ll see about that. I will keep it in mind and respond to you about it. ( She says, averting eye contact with her ) Does anyone have any other concerns?
Miyabi: Would it be ok to invite another person to this party? Since we are picking the place, could I also ask someone?
Yanagi: Chief, are you sure?
Miyabi: Yes, I’m sure about it.
Nicole: Sure, but at least tell me who you invite beforehand. Just to make sure that the siblings aren’t at risk.
Miyabi: Got it.
Everyone else agreed with the task that they were given and confirmed Nicole.
Nicole: Alright, so I would want to have this party for the next week on Friday. That gives us the rest of this week and the next to have everything ready.
Everyone: Alright then!
Nicole: Ok, then. Just make sure that the siblings are unaware of your activities to not cause any suspicion by them. We’ll keep in contact if anything happens, so later, everyone.
As Nicoles says it, everyone starts to leave the bar. Belobog and Section 6 climb on Piper’s truck, the PUBSEC squad jumps back to their car, and Nicole and Billy go to their car. The Sons of Calydon wave their goodbyes at them as they all depart.
So now that everyone has their jobs, it is up to them to determine if the party is a success, if it will work, or if accidents will happen on the way.
