The Avengers were getting ready to fight furiously, even lost their lives if necessary, as Thanos opened the portal and descended to Earth.But they were not ready for what happened instead.

This idea crossed my mind before Avengers: Infinity War circulated in theaters, so Thanos is still the biggest fan of the death.

Loki was absolutely not ready

Loki was many thing.

He was Laufeyson and Odinson

He was son of Frigga and Thor’s brother.

He was the rightful king of Jotunheim.

The prince of Asgard.

The ruler of Asgard.

But most importantly,

He was The God of Mischief.

He became Asgard’ crown prince by deceiving Laufey, Thor, and Odin.

He became the ruler of Asgard with the same method.

And now,

Now it was Thanos' turn to experience why Loki managed to earn his favorite title.

Right, Mr. Death? You would fall to my charm, and thus side with me and protect me from big bad Thanos, would y-

Thor stepped up his effort to break out of the cage that was holding him back, aka, the pile of bodies made of Captain America, Bucky, and Black Panther.

He didn't like the look on Loki's face.

That wasn't the look of someone who was planning something, and so damn confident that his plan would work perfectly.

Nor the face full of triumph and arrogance, indicating that his plan was indeed successful.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the city, that was not too close but also not too far, perfect for observation without getting involved in the battle.

Carol Danvers blinked once, blinked again just to be sure, then turned around and raised an eyebrow at Nick Fury.

Fury on the other hand, was too busy to respond.

He was busy cursing and screaming on the phone, telling agents Barton and Romanoff to move the Avengers’ lazy asses, and detain the ugly purple alien, together with the guy who beat the said purple alien of fucking course.
