A New Hive (Destiny, Alien)
Its senses was muddled when it awoke from its hibernation, a dull throbbing resonating through its body as it came to. It was still confined to the strange container it was placed into by the creatures that had managed to capture it from its egg, but it could no longer sense its siblings nearby.
It took it a moment to realise that there were creatures within the room with in, one was even peering at it with its face pressed against the glass. It jumped towards the invisible barrier keeping it from its prey, and its prey startles backwards making a loud sound alerting the others in the room. A much bigger creature sporting four arms marches over to it and begins making sounds down towards the small two armed creature before throwing it across the room.
The loud crash is followed by brief silence before a screeching comes from the distance outside of where it can observe. The screech wasn't familiar to its own kind, but it alerted the creatures in the room immediately as they begin to take defensive covered and begin firing outwards, it doesn't take long for it to observe more creatures trying to breach into its confinement. Skeletal creatures and chitinous beings trying to claw their way inside.
When the swarm of creatures does breach the room, the following hectic firing of guns and confusion manages to have a stray show shatter its prison. It immediately jumps onto the first thing that is nearby, wrapping its tight tail around its neck and begins to impregnate the create. The battle around it leaves it pretty much forgotten, and when it ends the creatures similar to its host immediately go off to search for more battle.
There was a slight problem however, and that was that there was already another parasite within the creature, a slithering screeching squelching worm that was very opposed to sharing a body. The only solution was to parasitize the parasite, leading the egg to first enter the host and then into the hosts host. The Facehugger releases enzymes that cause the DNA of the host and parasite to accept the DNA of the newly incubating Xenomorph
It was several hours later that a small thin worm burst out of the larger worm, killing it as it breached from its soft underbelly. This had strange consequences for its hosts host however, making the creature seize up and struggle to stay alive. It had to quickly continue to take over as the main parasite for the creature, acting as both a life source as it slowly ate away the previous parasite and its new host before it could become independent.
The host of its previous host was disappointingly weak. A weak, frail, blind, mostly deaf creature who would easily crumble away into dust if it wasn't careful with its incubation. The bony creature barely had room within its stomach for it to incubate, it had to carefully eat away at its weak chest without accidentally causing it to die to early. Multiple times it had accidentally breached its very delicate skin without meaning to.
Eventually the time came for it to breach the new host as well, easily pushing its way out of the already exposed ribs and merely sliding through the already crumbling skin.
Its form was that of a slightly fat worm with some bony chitin plating to protect its back, it had the curious trait of having two pincer like tails that it had gained from the worm host. Its most unusual trait that it had, that none of its kind -that it knew of- had before, and that was a vaguely green glowing sensory organ just under its crested head that allowed it a slight form of sight.
Upon its 'birth', it tried to reach out to its queen, but it could no longer hear her calling. It was truly alone, and that meant it must hide and survive until it could find a hive, or create a hive itself.
It slithered forward towards a vent, using its frontal clawed graspers to held it along.
