Mr Hyde was a slick man in a suit with a sly smile and shaking hands underneath the desk. He knew that the people in front of him could cause him suffering in an instant but he also knew that he currently carried the entire weight of the 'muggle' world.
"Trust me mister-" theres a pause as man speaking flips a page in his clipboard "-Dumbledore, I am merely here to... ensure the best interests of the non magical community"
He sat infront of the old headmaster who was supposedly 150, he couldn't help but doubt that he was actually 150.
"That may be true, but to come in here demanding we make changes to our world you didn't even know about until recently is preposterous!" Professor Snape cuts in from beside the headmaster.
"Snape was it? I don't care much for this society of yours currently, the so called 'Muggle' world has been reintroduced and while certain aspects seem fantastical, others are seen as wrong and some downright disturbing. I'm just here to help push the school to a... better outlook"
"What are some changes that we would be expected to accommodate?" cuts in professor McGonogall
"Well we're going to be starting nice and easy with the introduction of a few simple class subjects, those being maths, science, and a proper muggle studies" Hyde declares
"And what makes you think we need these?" Snape remarks back
Mr Hydes sharp tongue is already firing back, "What is 8 multipled by 14?" he asks to all three of them only to be met will momentary silence. The so called best school in the wizarding world didn't even have math classes provided to them, Hyde was surprised they were literate with how they ran their schooling system.
"Well, do you know what it is?" McGonogall sasses back, Hyde looks to the side as he rounds it all together for a second "It would be a hundred and twelve if i'm not mistaken"
"Raise your hands if you know what this is" asked Mrs Evalin, the muggle in charge of the new and improved muggles class. The class stared at the flat black rectangle in her hand and a single student nervously raised his hand "Is that a gun Mrs Evalin?" he asks uncertainly, her blank stare didn't give him any hope of having a correct answer
"No, class this is whats called a Mobile Phone, it is a handheld device that allows for instant communication across distances" She announces for the entire class to hear as she passes it to one of the students who takes it cautiously. The class startles when it begins making loud sounds and begins flashing and shaking, "Please touch the green button for me" Evalin tells the student.
Upon doing so the class is surprised to head Mrs Evalins voice come from it as she held another to her mouth
"It allows for communication far faster than an owl, from anywhere in the world with a proper signal, now I have some pamphlets for you to read over. Tomorrow we will be learning about what the internet is, and how to do a google search."
"We are making good progress with abolishing the slavery found within the 'wizarding world' so to speak, they've had it for centuries and for us to just begin demanding them to change it is meeting resistance ofcourse but I would say we're doing grand progress in the small amount of time we have had so far" The politician says at the podium infront of a dozen cameras "Just recently we helped get rid of a silly law barring certain magical races from working, we're making progress in getting goblins equal rights rather than second class citizens, and we're making headway into stopping the slavery of the so called 'House Elves'."
There is several flashes of cameras before the politician walks off screen, several wizards mutter to themselves about how things are changing too fast for their plans and that the dark lord wouldn't like all this happening.
