Forget me not
"Hey kid are you alright?" calls out an unsees voice that stirs Izuku from his tiredness. Izuku opens his eyes for them to get assualted by the blinding sunlight, he blinks again and again as someone standing over him comes into focus. A wooden mask was staring down at him curiously giving him a look over before patting his shoulder "Come on get up"
"K-Kamui Woods?" Izuku asks confused as his mind begins whirring up to proper conciousness.
"Yeah kid, you ok?" he asks again grabbing Izukus arm and pulling up up from where he had been lying down.
"U-uh yeah" he replies to the hero as he glances around at the busy shopping district that he had apperantly dozed off in.
"Well you shouldn't be sleeping outside kid, you should hurry to school if you don't want to be late, UA has high standards you know?"
Izuku looks down to see his uniform and it clicks into place in his tired mind, its a school day, he jumps up with a start stuttering out a thank you before he rushes off
"Hey kid!" Kamui Woods calls out before Izuku gets too far "Don't forget your costume!" He yells holding up the suitcase"
"R-Right!" Izuku stutters again
Izuku wasn't actually as late as he thought he would be, he had made it to the head gate with plenty of time to spare. He was sure he would get some form of punishment for being outside without permission, Iida especially would have some choice words for being outside of the dorms but to Izukus dismay he couldn't even remember why he was outside, with his hero costume no less.
He comes upto the automatic gates... and they don't open up for him as he approaches. He stands there for a few seconds waiting for them to open but when it becomes evident that they don't he backtracks a bit and walks up again, again with no opening.
He stands on his tippy toes, he waves his arm at the sensor, he jumps up and down waving his arms but the gate just wasn't opening.
He tries all the gates and all of them refuse to open to him
Maybe it can't scan my ID? a rogue thought provides
Izuku opens his wallet pulling out his UA student card and holds it up for the scanner to see but still nothing.
Izukus attention gets pulled to the familiar accepting beep beside him.
The gate next to him opens up for his teacher who walks past uninterested in his plights with the gates.
"AIZAWA SENSEI" Izuku calls out to his teacher "The gates aren't opening for me"
"Can't help you kid" is all he gets as a reply as his teacher doesn't even look back.
"Please disperse" comes an electronic voice from speaker on the game
"but I go here" Izuku tries to argue
"Please disperse"
"I am a student here" he informs the speaker
"Please disperse or the authorities will be contacted" comes the uncaring robotic voice
"but-"
"Please disperse"
No one was helping him and everyone was ignoring his texts and calls
His only option was to just go home and come back tomorrow after the police said they couldn't actually help and just told him to leave
He knocked on the door and waited for his mum hoping she wasn't out.
The door opens slowly as a man stands there looking down at him
"Can I help you" he asks giving Izuku a one over glance
"I- uh... who are you?" Izuku asks uncertainly, he wasn't against his mum finding someone to spend time with but it is a surprise
"You knock on my door and ask who I am?" The man asks back with an eyebrow raised
"I- what? N-no I mean- Well I live here so"
"I think you have the wrong apartment kid" the man says pointing to the door number which he stares at for a good 5 seconds, it definitely wasn't the wrong apartment.
"Oh whos this" comes the familiar voice of his mother, she was standing behind the man giving Izuku a curious look over
"Not sure, just some kid at the wrong apartment" the man explains to Inko
"Oh thats the UA uniform, he might be looking for Mitsukis son, I'm sorry sweetheart but Katsuki doesn't live here" she says with a soft smile "He should be 2 buildings over but..."
She looks to the man uncertain "Didn't Mitsuki say that he was moving into a dorm?"
"Ah right" he replies turning to Izuku "Katsuki should be living at a UA dorm now sorry bout that" the man says giving a nod and closing the door on him
Through the door he hears the man talking to his mother, "Katsuki never had one of his followers come actually looking for him at his house"
"Hisashi, he seemed like a sweet boy, also stop referring to Katsukis friends like that"
Izuku just stood there for a while not sure what to say
