Anniversary of Timeless love
Summary
Allie and Kristina celebrate their anniversary

The evening sun cast a warm glow over the Ramirez-Davis household as Allie and Kristina prepared for a special night. Adela and Adrian, were playing in the living room, their laughter filling the air.

“I can’t believe it’s been a year since our last anniversary,” Kristina remarked, adjusting the vase of fresh flowers on the dining table.

Allie smiled, her eyes reflecting the same sentiment. “Time flies when you’re with the ones you love.”

“Time also flies, when you have a screaming baby on your hands”

Allie laughs, and says “well luckily, our “screaming baby” is now three”

The addition of Adrian to their family had brought immeasurable joy and a fair share of challenges. The sleepless nights, the endless diaper changes, and the constant juggling of responsibilities had tested their patience and resilience.

Yet, every giggle, every milestone, and every shared moment had been worth it.

The doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of Alexis and Sonny.

“Happy anniversary!” Alexis exclaimed, embracing her daughter.

“Thank you, Mom,” Kristina replied, smiling. “We appreciate you both coming over.”

Sonny ruffled Adrian’s hair. “Ready for a fun night, buddy?”

Adrian giggled, nodding enthusiastically.

“Grandma, can we make cookies??” Adela asked Alexis

“Of course we can, sweetie, and Adrian can help too.” Alexis said

“Yayy!!” Adrian exclaimed

Allie joined them, slipping on her jacket. “We’ve left dinner instructions on the counter, and their bedtime is at eight.”

“Go enjoy yourselves,” Sonny said, waving them off. “We’ve got everything under control.”

With a final round of hugs and kisses, Allie and Kristina stepped out into the crisp evening air, hand in hand.

The restaurant was intimate, with soft lighting and a cozy atmosphere. Seated at a corner table, they perused the menu, but their focus remained on each other.

“I have something for you,” Allie said, reaching into her purse.

Kristina’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. “Oh?”

Allie presented a delicate bracelet, adorned with a charm bearing the initials ‘AMR.’ “For Adela and Adrian,” she explained softly.

Tears welled in Kristina’s eyes as she admired the bracelet. “It’s beautiful, Babe Thank you.”

She reached into her own bag, pulling out a small box. “I have something for you too.”

Inside was a necklace, its pendant engraved with the same initials.

Allie laughed softly, her eyes glistening. “Great minds think alike.”

They helped each other with their new jewelry, the gestures intimate and filled with love.

“I love you, Mrs. Ramirez,” Kristina whispered, her hand resting on Allie’s.

Allie leaned in, her voice tender. “And I love you too, Mrs. Davis Ramirez.”

Their kiss was gentle, a reaffirmation of their bond.

Returning home, they entered quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful scene before them.

Alexis sat on the couch, Adrian asleep in her arms, his tiny hand clutching her blouse. Sonny reclined in the armchair, Adela curled up on his lap, both breathing softly in slumber.

Allie and Kristina stood in the doorway, hands clasped, hearts swelling with love.

Alexis looked up, smiling warmly. “They were perfect angels,” she whispered.

Sonny nodded in agreement. “Adela insisted on reading us a story, but she didn’t make it to the end.”

“Thank you both,” Kristina said softly. “We had a wonderful evening.”

After gentle goodbyes and hugs, Alexis and Sonny departed, leaving the house in serene quiet.

Allie carefully lifted Adela, cradling her daughter as she carried her to bed. “Goodnight, sweet girl,” she whispered, brushing a kiss on her forehead. “Sweet dreams. Mama loves you.”

In Adrian’s room, Kristina tucked him in, smoothing his hair back. “Goodnight, sweet boy,” she murmured. “Sweet dreams. Mommy loves you.”

They switched rooms, each sharing a tender moment with the other child.

“Goodnight, sweet girl,” Kristina whispered to Adela, kissing her gently. “I love you.”

Allie leaned over Adrian, her voice soft. “Goodnight, sweet boy. I love you.” She pressed a kiss to his forehead.

Meeting in the kitchen, they embraced, the weight of the day melting away.

“I’m so grateful for this life,” Kristina said, her head resting on Allie’s shoulder.

“And for each other,” Allie added, kissing the top of her wife’s head.

In the quiet of their home, surrounded by love and the family they had built, they knew they had everything they could ever need.
