“What was your favourite Disney Princess as a kid?”
“What makes you think I have one?”
“Because it's you, how could you not have had one?”
“Okay, I did.”
“So?” I asked making Melissa chuckle
“Cinderella.”
“Ah, so you are basic,” I teased, which immediately resulted in Melissa slapping my shoulder annoyed at me.
“Sorry. So why Cinderella?”
“Please, she clearly had the best dress and who wouldn't want Prince Charming searching every kingdom for this one shoe to fit his one true love.”
“I guess you've got a point.”
“Would you roam every kingdom searching for me?”
“I don't know. I mean that seems like a lot of work, what if I did all that and it turns out you're not my one true love?”
“Well am I?”
“are you what?”
“Am I your one true love?” Melissa asked on bated breath.
“I guess it depends.”
“On what?” Melissa asked confused.
“Can we go as Cinderella and Prince Charming for Halloween?” Melissa laughed before answering me with a kiss.
We took out best dress that year at Rosewood High's Annual Halloween Ball. We were totally the best dressed couple there.
The End.
