Day 10 Esacpe Plan Part Two
Yunho sat in the chair next to the fireplace as he checked his watch it was close to 8 so it was time for Professor Ji-Young to come down soon.
“ If you're going to do this with me you could at least look less suspicious you know that right.”
Yunho put down his notebook as he looked at Hyungwon laying on the table with his headphones in and a book on his face.
“ Compared to you right now I am the normal one.”
“ Right because looking at your watch every hour is so normal”
“ You know what Wooyoung might be on to something you just like to hear yourself talk.” He said as he flipped a page in the book he was not paying attention to in the slightest.
“ I take offense to that.”
“ Do you.” He said raising an eyebrow at him.
“ No, I don’t actually.”
“ Mr. Chae I do hope this does not become an everyday habit of yours when school comes back in because if it does we will have problems.”
Professor Ji-Young said as he walked into the kitchen past the two of them.
Yunho gave Hyungwon a look that said I told you so before looking down at the book in his hand.
“ Mr.Jeong I have seen you with that textbook more this whole break than during the actual semester are you finally starting to take my class seriously.” He said leaning against the wall his mug of tea in his hands as he looked at Yunho.
Yunho started to blink and ask him what did he mean but when he finally focused on the textbook he randomly picked walking out of the dorm this morning it was his potions book. He smiled at Professor Ji-Young as he bookmarked the page he was mindlessly staring at.
“ I always take your class seriously sir I just thought the break would be a perfect time to get a bit of extra studying in.”
“ Hmmm.” He said as he took a sip of his tea before casting Hyungwon a look.
“ Now if only some that of would rub off on Mr.Chae.”
“ Hey! I have a passing grade in your class.” Hyungwon said setting up looking offended.
“ A C- should not be your definition of a passing grade Mr. Chae.”
Yunho bit his lip trying not to laugh. Hyungwon narrowed his eyes at him as he threw his notebook at him.
“ What’s your grade then smartass.”
“ Mr. Jeong has a B in my class.” Professor Ji-Young answered.
“ Because He pays attention instead of goofing off with Mr. Lee.” He said before walking to the kitchen once more. Hyungwon glared at Yunho trying not to laugh.
“ It’s not funny.”
“ Sure it's not.”
“ I’m older than you,” he said with a smile as he folded his arms like he won the argument. Yunho looked at him before opening his book back up.
“ Could have fooled me.”
“ What was that?!”
“ I didn’t say anything Hyung,” Yunho said smiling at him. The door to the kitchen opened again and Professor Ji-Young stepped out holding a tray of stuff.
“ Would you like help with that sir?” Yunho said closing his book and standing up. Professor Ji-Young looked at him confused.
“ No Mr.Jeon I got it.”
“ Are you sure sir I don’t mind helping it's not my turn for kitchen duty today so I have time to help?”
He sighed before setting the tray on the table and looking at him.
“ Well if you insist….Mr.Chae why don’t you help as well.”
Hyungwon looked at him like he wanted to say no.
“ There’s only one tray sir.”
“ That’s fine I have a few things I need from my office and the library.” He said as he started walking towards the dining hall.
“ Now now we're wasting daylight and time if you guys want to make it back here before breakfast.” He said walking away from them. Yunho picked up the tray and nodded at Hyungwon to follow them. Professor Ji-Young walked ahead of them typing on his phone.
“ This is the opposite of watching him.” Hyungwon hissed to Yunho.
“ We have to know which way he takes so we know how to plan around them or so we won’t place ourselves in front of him.”
“ What’s the use of a map then.”
“ There are somethings we can’t rely on the map for and if anyone outside knew we had a live map of Hogwarts in our possession and they decide they want it then that’s a street fight on top of sneaking out.”
Hyungwon didn't say anything to that because he had pointed to the map to help keep track of him. But it doesn’t help to plan on how not to get caught getting in and out of the school. They followed him to the library and his office before heading off to the teacher's hall. They set everything he wanted on the table in the teacher’s hall. Before walking back to the dining hall.
“ So we know both ways he goes but what now?”
“ We plan the groups on who goes first and so on everyone got the person they are shopping for and we are so posed to be testing out the powder today so we can figure it out then.” He said as they walked into the dining hall. To see everyone already eating and waiting for them.
“ Sorry we're late we had to help Professor Ji-Young with something.”
“ I thought a big part of the plan was to stay out of his way in an out-of-sight and out-of-mind type of deal,” Youngjae said looking up from his switch.
“ It is but what’s the first rule of war or in our case sneaking out.”
“ To know thy enemy is to know thy self,” Yoongi said as he took a sip of his coffee.
“ Exactly besides we have everything taken care of so don’t worry,” Hyungwon said taking a seat next to Changkun.
Yunho sat next to Jungho as they all started breakfast as they normally did every morning.
“ So rules of Secret Santa as you guys know there were three lines in your cards we thought three gifts each should be okay as long as no one goes over the limit it’s fine,” Jin said as he stood up taking his dishes to the kitchen.
“ Hey so we have to talk can you guys meet me in the library again after breakfast,” Wooyoung said looking at Hyungwon, Yunho, and Seonghwa. They nodded their heads as they got to eat.
“ So we all are really in the dark until tomorrow,” Jimin said looking at the four of them.
“ Yes, as much as we hate to say it but it’s better this way. This is more than just sneaking out to party we are unofficially going off school grounds without permission and we can’t bribe our way home this time.” Hyungwon said looking at his fellow Slytherin.
They finished and walked to the library together. They walked in the door and walked to the back where the fireplace was. Seonghwa walked to the closest table and set down a bag he was carrying. He pulled out a small mason jar filled to the top with a green powder.
“ Okay so we're going to start small we're going to start somewhere in the school first and then try for Edwan’s hut the only thing left is who is going first.”
He said as he set it on the table in front of them. He turned back to look at them watching to see who would go first when no one stepped forward he shook his head as he pulled out a small jar and filled it with some of the powder before taking a handful of the powder and stepping into the fireplace.
“ Your kidding right?” Yunho said looking at him.
“ You guys weren’t going to do it,” he said as he thought about the place where he wanted to go.
“ Edawn’s hut.” He said as he threw the powder down.
The guys coughed as the ash from the fireplace went everywhere.
“ Damn dude what the fuck.”
“ Seonghwa?”
“ Dude?”
Once the ash cleared away there was no sign of the Gryffindor in question. They looked at the library waiting to see a glimpse of him.
“ Wait it works?” Hyungwon questioned waiting for someone to respond to him.
“ I think it did..” Yunho said looking at the fireplace.
“ Pull out the map to see where he went,” Wooyoung said walking over to the table.
Hyungwon pulled out the map as the grounds popped up and they saw Seonghwa’s name pop up near Edawn’s hut. They all looked at each other as the moment of knowing it worked was hard not to get too excited.
“ So we can leave but what about coming back?” Hyungwon said looking at the map.
A flash of green fire came from the fireplace as Seonghwa stood there with an I told you so look on his face as he walked out of the fireplace to spin around as held his arms out to his side as stood in front of them.
“ Has anyone told you that you fuckin lions have screws loose,” Wooyoung said as he lay on the table feeling more relaxed now that Seonghwa was back in the library in one piece.
“ Hmm, we get told that once or twice.” He said walking over to the table.
“ Crazy equals brilliance remember that Wooyoung,” Seonghwa said as he sat on the table.
“ More like idiocy,” Wooyoung said looking at him with narrowed eyes. Seonghwa shrugged his shoulders as he just smiled at the three of us.
“ Think of it like this at least we know it works now.” He said with a smile that showed he didn’t regret scaring them at all.
“ One of us had to do it.” He said.
“ Okay so now we know.”
Seonghwa smiled at him as he walked back over to the table.
“ Now boys we really test it out.”
He said as he pulled out what looked like a stopwatch.
“ What’s a stopwatch going to do?” Yunho said looking at it and back to him not getting the plan.
“ I’m going to the abandoned building next to Oilanders yeah this stuff works on the school grounds but the point of this is to leave school. I have my phone on me so if it looks like shit going left call me.”
“ And what if you get stuck?” Wooyoung said looking at him for an answer.
“ I have a plan for that don't worry.”
He said as he refuiled the pouch and grabbed another handful of the powder.
“ Okay then,” Hyungwon said as he looked back down at the map on the table.
Wooyoung and Yunho looked at Hyungwon like he lost his mind.
“ Your about to let him do this for real,” Wooyoung said throwing his hands in Seongwha's direction.
“ Look at him he’s already made up his mind you want to try to change it.”
“ But this is your plan.”
“ Your point.”
“ Then you should be the one to try it asshole.”
Seonghwa sighed as he watched Wooyoung and Hyungwon go back and forth fighting with each other. He stepped into the fireplace once more as he thought about the building on the border diagonally.
“ You sure you want to do this?”
Seonghwa opened his eyes to see Yunho looking at him with concern. Seongwha just smiled at him as he shook his head.
“ Someone has to and I don't think diva one or two are going to stop fighting anytime soon to rock paper scissors this out; I’m giving myself 10 minutes tops if I’m back in 10 grab Jk and Hongjoon they will know what to do.”
“ Okay, 10 minutes tops.”
Yunho stepped back as he watched Seonghwa disappear in green fire.
“ He fucking did it.”
Yunho set a timer on his phone for 10 minutes if it takes a minute or a second longer then he was taking off down the hall to find JK and Hongjoon.
