Day 6 Tree part 2
You looked down at the supplies you pulled from the attic of the school the guys kicked you out of the dining hall wanting it to be a surprise. You looked down at everything you looked at the normal star that you managed to pull out. You could just use that but for some reason, you wanted to make the star to make it fit the tree more.
You sighed as you looked outside the window of the kitchen at the snow falling. You always loved how it looked when it snowed there was just something how magical everything look. You watched a snowflake attach its self to the window before melting away you looked at the spot where the snowflake was when you got an idea. You grabbed your notepad and walked out the kitchen you grabbed your coat before walking out the door and out to the greenhouse.
You tried to walk fast but it was hard with the snow being hard to walk through. You crossed your arms to try to maintain some body heat as you walked. You reached the greenhouse and pushed the door open.
You breathed a sigh of relief at the warm air of the greenhouse you stomped your feet to get the snow off. You looked around the greenhouse as you put your coat up next to Seonghwa as you walked farther in. You walked around a corner to see him tending to one of the plants with headphones in.
You walked around the other side of the table to try to get his attention. He smiled at you as he took his headphone out.
“ What brings you over here?” He asked as he set down the watering can to look at you. You played with the edges of a light blue flower as I looked up at him.
“ I can ask you the same aren’t you so pose to be helping the other as JB put it Lion Brats with the tree.”
He laughed as he picked the can back up to counter what he was doing before you came to the greenhouse.
“ Yes but arent you so pose to be working on the star. “
“ Yeah, but I got an idea and I knew you would the right person to help me.”
“ Hmm help with?”
“ I need flowers representing a word from each house.”
He gave you a surprised look before nodding his head for you to follow him. You walked behind him to see him lead you to a beautiful blood-red flower. You walked closer to it as you touched the soft petals of the flower seeming mesmerized by it.
“ A Carnation for Gryffindor they mean pride and beauty but a red one symbolizes love pride and admiration.” He says as he picks up two of them from the bucket and hands them to you.
“ Hmm I can make a joke about how you picked your house first but I won't this time.” You say to him as you held the flowers close to you. He kept walking down the line and stood by some royal blue flowers.
“ Bluebells but with the right charm you will be able to change the color of them to yellow bluebells mean loyalty, humility, and gratitude. You can use this one for Hufflepuff.”
He grabbed two out but kept them in his hands as he kept walking towards another blood-red flower.
“ You will have to spell this one this too but hollyhocks means ambition.” He grabbed two and held them in his hand with the bluebells as you guys kept walking till he stopped at a beautiful deep blue flower.
“ And iris for Ravenclaw they mean wisdom.” he picked up two of the deep blue flowers and handed them to you.
You took them and looked down at the flowers in your hand you felt yourself smiling as you looked at them. You looked at the four flowers that Segonhwa still had in his hand trying to think if you would be able to find a spell or potion to change the colors of the flowers to the ones you needed.
“ Were not done come with me.”
You looked at him confused as he walked deeper into the greenhouse he opened the door to what looked like a lab in the back of the greenhouse with flowers of every color you looked around in wonder at all of them.
“ Professor E’Dawn built this lab for Professor Hyuna and he makes her different color flowers I’m allowed to use the greenhouse for Herbology as long as I help around the greenhouse.” He told you as he walked in he walked to the flowers labeled bluebells and grabbed two bright yellow ones before replacing them with the ones he pulled out the bucket from out in the main part of the greenhouse. He walked farther down and grabbed two emerald green hollyhocks before replacing the two he pulled out.
He held them out to you to take them. You grabbed them looking at stage one of your project complete. You looked down at the colors when you thought about how where you going to get them back to the kitchen without them being damaged by the snow and wind.
You heard something move and looked up to see him grabbing a vase from the shelf he set it on the empty table before pulling out his wand. He closed his eyes as he muttered something before the vase started to glow.
“ That should do it you can put them in here to get them back to the kitchen or your dorm.”
You placed the flowers in the vase before looking up at him.
“ You wouldn't happen to know how to charm ice now would you.” You said looking at him with puppy dog eyes.
He laughed as he shook his head no.
“ If you need that Yeosang’s your guy.”
You nodded your head as you picked up the vase. You looked at him before walking out the lab door.
“ Hey, Seongwha thank you don't stay out here too long though you have to come to see the finished project.”
You said as you started to walk back towards the front of the greenhouse. You set the vase down before putting on your coat and making your way back to the kitchen. You walked fast trying not to linger in the cold for longer than you had to. You got back through the kitchen door and set the vase down before shaking the snow off.
You picked the vase and set the flowers next to art stuff and decorations from the attic. you walked over to the stove to start boiling water for tea. You set the kettle on the stove as you walked over to the dining hall door and put your back to it pushing it open. You heard the guys yelling at you not to look from the center of the dining hall.
“ I’m not trying to look I need Yeosang for a bit.” You yelled into the hall over the music they were playing. You started tapping your foot to one of the Christmas they were playing as you started to picture how you wanted the star to look after you were done.
You didn't pay atteint until you felt the door moving you panicked trying to hold yourself up so you wouldn't fall. You lost your footing and slipped back into a pair of arms. You looked up at Yeosang looking at you concerned.
“ Are you alright?” He asked as he helped you help so you wouldn't fall to the floor.
“ Yeah, I was just spaced out for a moment.” You told him looking at him he stepped in the kitchen and let the door swing shut behind him.
“ So what do you need me for?”
“ Ice letters.”
“ Huh.” He looked at raising an eyebrow confused.
“ I asked Seonghwa about someone helping me with ice and he said to talk to you.”
He walked over to the table where you set everything out and looked at you sighing.
“ What letters do you need?”
You clapped your hands together as you walked to pull the kettle off the stove you set on the counter.
“ I need a G, and R, E, and an S oh oh, and if you could make a snowflake the size of the angel on the table that would be great too.”
You heard him smack his teeth as you walked over to a cabinet to grab a bowl to pour some of the water in and a teacup for your tea.
“ Do you want them different colors too?” He asked with sarcasm in his voice.
“ Oooo yes please can you make them half and half colors for each house?” You asked excitedly looking at him as you set the bowl down.
“ I was being sarcastic.” He said looking at you.
You gave him a bright smile as you poured the hot water into the bowl before sliding it towards him. He rolled his eyes as he pulled out his wand and pointed it at the bowl before shutting his eyes. You watched as the water start to raise up and slowly crystalize and spin until it formed a snowflake. You watched as four mini balls of water raised from out the bowl next to the snowflake.
You reached your hand out wanting to touch it as they started to glow.
“ DO NOT touch you can wait until I’m done.” He said not opening his eyes to look at you.
You pulled your hand back and just watched him as he made the ice letters in the colors you requested.
“ Move the bowl.”
You grabbed the edge of the blow and slowly pulled it towards you and out the way of your new decorations. You watched as the snowflake and letters slowly gravitated towards the table. You looked at them from your end of the table excited. You heard him breathe out as he opened his eyes. You thought it was a trick of the light that made his eyes seem icy blue after opening them.
“ Thank You Yeosang.” You told him again smiling at him. You walked around the counter and threw your arms around him. You hugged him for a moment before jumping back away from him from how cold he was.
“ Your freezing.” You told him as you started to touch his face before he pulled away from you grabbing your hand.
“ Yeah downside about using element magic.” He said walking towards the door back to the dining hall you looked down and smiled as you started to get to work on the idea for the star you had.

You didn't know how long it was when you finished but looking at the clock two hours seemed to go by. You shool your hands out trying to warm up the chill from the letters and snowflake and winding the stems of the flowers together around the snowflake. You put your wand in your back pocket before picking up the star to walk into the dining hall door. You pushed the door open with your back.
“ Can I see now?” You called into the hall you didn't hear anyone reply to you. You frowned as you thought about how you didn't hear any music either. You turned around walking into the dining hall to see it was pitch black.
“ Guys this isn't funny.” You called out as you walked around the dark hall. You jumped when the lights came on the tree lighting up the darkroom. You held you're breathing as you looked at all the lights and decorations. You walked closer to the tree amazed at the work they did.
“ Whoah.”
“ I know right.” You jumped as you let out a scream when you felt an arm go around your shoulders.
“ Ahhh fuck damn woman.” The lights turned on and you saw BamBam rubbing his ears looking at you like you lost your mind.
“ What were you thinking doing that.” You said placing a hand on your chest looking around at the guys coming out of hiding.
“It's called a surprise.” He said looking at you hurt. You saw his eyes look down at the star in your hand.
“ Is that the star?” He said trying to grab it out of your hand. You moved away from him standing in front of the tree with it behind your back.
“ Nope turn around no looking all of you.” You said as you pointed a finger at them. You waited until they turned around before pulling your wand out of your back pocket. You gently set the star on the ground before stepping back from it you turned around to make sure they weren't looking.
“ Wigardum leviosa.”
You lifted the star until it reached the top of the tree you set it down smiling at the way it fits perfectly.
Your head turned around when you heard footsteps coming into the dining hall. Professor Ji-Young looked at the tree before looking at yall he nodded his head as he made his way to the kitchen.
“ Not bad trouble crew.”
The guys turned around to see the star you had been working on was a snowflake with each of the houses on it intertwined with flowers.
“ Wow.”
“ What do they mean?” Youngjae asked walking to stand next to you.
“ Hollyhocks stand for ambition,” Hyungwon said looking at the snowflake you smiled at the green hollyhocks with a green and sliver S in the center of the two.
“ Bluebells means loyalty,” Mingi said his eyes never leaving the tree. The Hufflepuff yellow and gray ice H was at the very ending of one side of the snowflake with one bluebell meeting the end of the H and the other leading down towards the center.
“ Carnations means pride,” Seonghwa said stepping next to you. The red and gold Gryffindor G was at the center of one flower the second one was leading towards the middle of the snowflake
“ And iris for wisdom.” The bright blue and sliver of the Ravenclaw R was casting a glow on the already deep blue flowers. All the endings of flowers met in the middle of the snowflake where the Hogwarts crest sat.
You smiled as you looked around at everyone looking at the tree. But your eyes lingered on Yeosang and how the lights reflected in his deep brown eyes nothing like the icy blue from before.
So was it really a trick of the light or was it something else?
