Meeting (ghosts of my past) - Harry's Remix

Or at least, that's what she thought before bumping into someone.

"Harry! You OK?"

Popping open her eyes, she saw the dark haired dragel, being helped up by a dark-skinned dragel.

"Oh my gods, I'm so sorry!", she got herself up. And looked at Harry, whom she had just walked into. And felt her jaw drop.

"James?", at his startled glance towards her, she saw green, green eyes she only ever saw on one other person, "Lily?" Taking a deep breath, she pulled on a smile to hide the hurt, the shock, "I'm so sorry, you just look like people I know. I'm Hyacinth, and you?"

"He's Harry Potter, and I'm Ethan Hartwood. Both from the Nott circle," came from his companion. And that name rang a bell since she had only just sent the letter of recompense to them as well. And here her thoughts skidded to a halt. Potter, with Lily's eyes, and lips. Oh, she thought her heart would have a break from aching once she had delivered retribution to those who were once so close to her. But now. Now, she could feel it bleeding all over again, especially when she knew what to look out for, echoes of her beloveds in this boy's name, his hair and the shapes that made of his face.

"How do you know my parents?", blurted Harry. And oh, how that hurt. Looking at him, the way he'd so straightforwardly just hit the point. Oh, Lily, he's just like you. This was what her magic was leading her to. The child of her beloveds. That she didn't know she had left. That she wanted to know, if he would ever find it in him to forgive her for her unknowing abandonment.

"It's a long story, but if you have the time, I'd love to get to know you", a fragile smile rested ever so gently on her lips, but her breath was held as she waited to see if this boy, her son - oh heavens, she had a son - would reject her.
