Percy Jackson and the Mystic Demigods

We Traveled the galaxy!

**POV: Percy**

Today was supposed to start normally, but it seems the gods truly hate me. A few of my friends and I had to embark on a really important and huge quest. Fortunately, it was located in New York, but we needed to find the gateway.

"Okay, so we're on a quest to find a place we don't even know the location of, and we have no map, no GPS, no guide, and no directions... that's just lovely," I remarked in my usual sassy tone.

"Percy, it's a quest to a place we don't know for a reason. It's the home of Mysticals, hybrids, and the unknown. Just because we don't know where to go doesn't mean we don't have access to a certain place," my smart yet annoyed girlfriend, Annabeth, replied as she pointed to a café... a mystical café.

"That popular café? What's so great about it, and how is it going to help us on our quest?" Piper asked, sounding a bit skeptical about the whole idea.

"I think we should give it a try. I've been there before; the owner is a fae. She can't lie because fae are cursed to only tell the truth," Nico replied, standing in the shade. He was the son of Hades, but then again, it's not like a dead person could get sunburned... right?

We ended up walking to the café. It wasn't very crowded, so we were able to sit down, get some food, and gather the information we needed. After we settled in, we noticed a guy with long, light brown hair that was dyed peach walking toward us. "Nice to meet you, I'm Eilo Sinclair. You could have ordered at the counter if you'd like," he said. Eilo seemed calm and relaxed, but I could tell that he could read us like a book.

I might have been annoyed that he interrupted me, but he provided the information we were looking for. "My boss is out, so I'm in charge, and the café is closing early—that's why not many people are here. You're looking for the gateway, and it's where I'm heading. If you want to help clean up, I can show you the way to get where you need to be." It was hard to notice, but he was also a demigod; I just didn't know who his godly parent was.

We helped him clean up and close everything, and he showed us the way to the gateway, which looked like a normal subway station but had a star-themed design.

"I thought you said this was the gateway. Were you lying?" Will asked, sounding both confused and annoyed.

"Calm down. This is a special subway station—no mortals, unless they are demigods or have connections to magic, are allowed to see where this place is and access the station. This train will drop you off right at both of our stops." Eilo explained as the train pulled into the station.

"Hurry, hurry! A blizzard is coming, and it will damage the port if you take too long!" a woman with long black hair, dressed in a uniform, shouted to everyone. "Miss Mill! Are you working today?"

The woman, known as Miss Mill or Miller, turned to us. "Eli! How's your dad? Wait—tell me after you and the group behind you get on. We have a galaxy to travel through!"

With that, we all hurried onto the train. "Wait did she just say we're traveling through the Galaxy?!" Jason asked completely shocked and confused, "Please! Tell me is it like Star Wars?!" Will asked excitedly and then Miss Miller walked us to a booth to sit in the train.

"I'm Olivia Miller, guardian or Goddess of transportation and travel, Nice to meet all of you except Jackson... heard that you do nothing but cause trouble." She said as she looked right at me, "It's not all entirely my fault—" She laughed and reassured me that she was joking.

"I have two sons who are not biologically mine but are still my children because I adopted them. One of them has caused me a lot of trouble—fight after fight, war after war. He sleeps in class, refuses to clean his room, and doesn't do his laundry. He's my oldest, and in many ways, he reminds me of you, Percy—just lazy."

"You son... how did he react to all of that demigod stuff?" I asked, a bit confused yet feeling secure.

"If you want to know, just ask Elio; they go to the same school. Also, to answer your question, Solace, no, this is not like Star Wars. Look at that window," Miss Miller said with a smile. In the blink of an eye, she moved to the other side of the train. We all turned to look out the window and were astonished to see that we were in the galaxy! We were actually traveling through the stars and the cosmos. When we blinked again, we found ourselves at our stop.

We stepped out of the subway station and were greeted by an incredible city. It was like New York but bigger and more mystical; I could have sworn I saw a yokai walk past us.

"Guys, welcome to the main city of Velaris, and to the world of equality and freedom, Magria!" Elio said with a wide smile. This was the beginning of our new quest and the start of facing new enemies.
