The Graduation Ceremony
The big day had finally arrived: Auradon's graduation ceremony. Years had passed, and Red and Chloe were now 21. They had been through so much together, and this day marked the end of their school career and the beginning of a new adventure.
The students, their families, and friends gathered in the large auditorium, excitement palpable in the air. Chloe adjusted her graduation gown in front of the mirror, glancing at Red. "Ready for the big jump?"
Red smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "As ready as I can be."
The two young women walked down the auditorium together, hand in hand. The sound of their footsteps echoed through the hallways they had walked so many times, evoking a sweet nostalgia.
Before the ceremony began, Chloe spotted her family in the crowd and rushed over to them, a smile on her face. Her parents were waiting for her with smiles filled with pride. They immediately wrapped their protective arms around her.
"Chloe, we are so proud of you," her mother said, tears in her eyes.
Chloe hugged her mother, feeling the warmth of their love. "Thank you, Mom. Your support has been invaluable."
Her father, his eyes shining with pride, added, "You have grown up to be a remarkable woman. We know you will accomplish great things."
Chloe smiled, moved by her parents' words. "I love you so much. Thank you for everything."
Red, standing a little back, watched this scene with tenderness. She had always felt a special bond with Chloe's family, and the Charmings had welcomed her with open arms.
King Charming, seeing Red, beckoned her to come closer. "Red, come here."
Red stepped forward, a shy smile on his lips. The king took her in his arms, hugging her affectionately. "Red, we are proud of you too. You have been through so much with courage and determination. You are part of our family."
With tears in his eyes, Red replied, "Thank you. You have always been there for me, and I am eternally grateful."
Cinderella kissed Red on the cheek. "We love you, Red. Always."
The ceremony began with inspiring speeches from the teachers and students. The speakers recalled the challenges they had overcome and the accomplishments they had made. The students were called up to the stage to receive their diplomas, one by one.
When it was Red's turn to take the stage, a standing ovation rang out in the auditorium. She walked up to the podium, her heart pounding, and took a deep breath.
"Thank you all for your support and encouragement," she began. "Auradon will always be a part of me, and I'm grateful for everything I've learned here." Her eyes landed on Chloe, next to Bridget and Ella, and a tender smile lit up her face. "And I'm especially grateful for the friends and love I've found here."
The ceremony continued with moments of joy, hugs, and souvenir photos. As the last name was called, hats were thrown into the air, and the new graduates celebrated their accomplishments with excitement.
Bridget and Ella joined Red and Chloe after the ceremony, their faces beaming with happiness.
"Congratulations, girls!" Bridget exclaimed as she hugged them.
Ella smiled, her eyes sparkling. "We did it! We should be proud of ourselves. I'm proud of you anyway."
Red hugged her friends, grateful for their support. "Thank you, Bridget. Thank you, Ella. You've been incredible friends."
Chloe added with emotion, "Yes, thank you for everything. We couldn't have gotten here without you."
The four friends spent a moment exchanging memories and laughter, savoring the warmth of their friendship. They knew that even if their paths diverged, their bond would remain unbreakable.
Back in their room, Red and Chloe began to pack their suitcases for the last time. The shelves and closets emptied, each item put away awakening memories.
Red picked up a framed photo from her bedside table, gazing at it fondly. It was a photo of the two of them, taken the day Chloe had won her first fencing tournament. Red remembered that day like it was yesterday.
Flashback
Chloe had just won her first fencing tournament, and pride lit up her face. Red had rushed to join her, a bright smile on his lips. "Congratulations, Chloe! You were incredible!"
Chloe, still out of breath from the effort, smiled back. "Thank you, Red. I couldn't have done it without your support."
They posed for a photo together, Chloe proudly holding the trophy alongside Red. It was a moment of pure joy, a moment immortalized in this image.
End of Flashback
Red gently caressed the photo, tears in his eyes. "Do you remember that day?"
Chloe smiled when she saw the photo. "How could I forget it? It was the day we decided to face everything together."
Red put the photo in his suitcase, his eyes shining with emotion. "We've been through so much since that day. »
Chloe approached Red, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Yes, and we grew up together. We learned, we loved, and we built a future."
Red turned to Chloe, tears in her eyes. "I don't know what I would do without you, Chloe. You are my strength, my support."
Chloe kissed her tenderly, their lips meeting in a kiss filled with love and promise. "And you, you are my light, Red. Together, we are invincible."
They continued to pack their things, each gesture filled with sweetness and tenderness. Their hands brushed against each other sometimes, recalling the intensity of their bond.
When their suitcases were finally ready, Red and Chloe let themselves fall onto the bed, hand in hand. They looked at their now empty room, feeling a pang of nostalgia.
“It’s strange to think we’re never coming back here,” Red murmured, his voice shaking with emotion.
Chloe nodded, squeezing Red’s hand. “Yes, but it’s also the beginning of a new adventure. We have a future to build together, Red.”
Red turned to Chloe, a determined smile on his lips. “Yes, and I’m ready to face that future with you.”
Chloe smiled back, feeling a comforting warmth fill her heart. “Together, forever.”
They stayed like that, entwined, savoring the warmth of their love and the promise of a bright future. Their hearts beat in unison, ready to face whatever challenges came their way, hand in hand.
