Hi! Please read, it's important! I just want to say that I'm French, and English is not my strong point. I fill in the gaps with the internet, but don't hesitate to tell me if I need to correct something. Thanks! Happy reading!

Resistance and Hope

Maddox was hanging by his wrists in the torture chamber, his body bruised and bloodied. The queen, with an icy gaze, approached him with a glint of cruelty in her eyes. "Where is she, Maddox? Where is the princess hiding?"

Maddox, exhausted, gritted his teeth to keep from screaming. He clung desperately to his memories of Red to keep from breaking down. He saw their childhood, the times they had spent playing and laughing together. He particularly remembered an afternoon when they had built a secret cabin in the woods. Red had laughed out loud as he decorated their refuge with flowers and leaves. This memory was a lifeline in the ocean of pain he was crossing.

"I won't tell you anything," Maddox whispered, his voice barely audible.

The queen frowned, annoyed by his resistance. "Very well, we'll see how long you can hold out. »

The tortures began again, each blow, each burn eroding his strength a little more. Maddox felt that he was at the end of his rope. He wanted to fight for Red, but he knew that he could not endure this suffering forever.

Meanwhile, the allied guard, named Eamon, approached Maddox's cell. He found him unconscious, his body mutilated and exhausted. Eamon felt his heart clench at the sight of his friend in such a pitiful state. Maddox was covered in bruises and wounds, his breathing weak and irregular.

Eamon leaned over him, whispering softly. "Hold on, Maddox. We'll find a way to get you out of here." He knew that Maddox's strength inspired him. Despite the pain and torment, Maddox held on for Red. It gave Eamon the determination to keep fighting for him.

With a heavy heart, Eamon left the cell and went to a secret meeting in a tavern, where a small resistance was beginning to form. He slipped in and joined a group of people determined to overthrow the queen's tyranny.

“Maddox is at his wit’s end,” Eamon announced to the other resistance members. “He can’t hold out much longer. We need to act fast.”

The resistance members listened intently, their faces serious. A man named Finn spoke up. “We’ve been gathering information on guard schedules and prison layouts. We need to come up with a plan to get him out.”

Eamon nodded. “We also need to make sure the Queen doesn’t suspect anything. A distraction would be ideal to distract the guards.”

A woman named Liora suggested an idea. “We could fake a riot in the city to get the soldiers’ attention. That would give us time to break into the prison and free Maddox.”

The group discussed the details of the plan, refining each step to maximize their chances of success. They knew it was a dangerous mission, but they were willing to do anything to save Maddox and put an end to the Queen's cruelty.

"Eamon," Finn said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "you are the best person to lead this mission. Your knowledge of the area and your proximity to Maddox will be invaluable assets."

Eamon accepted the responsibility with determination. "Very well. We must act quickly and precisely. Maddox is counting on us."

The meeting ended on a note of hope mixed with apprehension. Every member of the resistance knew what was at stake, but they were willing to risk their lives for freedom and justice.

As they returned to the prison, Eamon took one last look at his unconscious friend. "Hold on, Maddox. We will come for you. I promise you."

The plan was in motion, and the resistance was more determined than ever to overthrow the Queen and free Maddox. The fate of Wonderland rested in their hands, and they were ready to fight for a better future.
