Letters and jealousies
Red was alone in the room when she discovered a letter from Chloe on her bed. Curious and excited, she took the letter and opened it gently, discovering Chloe's loving words written with care.
My love,
Since we've been together, every day is a precious gift. Your smile brightens my days and your laughter warms my heart. I love the way you look at me, as if I were the most special person in the world. I love the way you touch me, with a tenderness and delicacy that I had never known.
You are my muse, my confidant, and my love. I am incredibly lucky to have you by my side. You are much more than a friend to me, you are the one who completes my heart.
With all my love,
Chloe
Red felt her heart race as she read Chloe's words. A wave of happiness washed over her, and she felt more in love than ever. She focused on her sixth sense, which she was mastering more and more, and felt Chloe's love for her and her happiness to be with her. A smile played on her lips.
She felt incredibly lucky to have Chloe in her life. Every moment spent with her was a treasure, and she knew that they were meant to be together.
Lunch time came, and Red prepared to join Chloe. But as she got near the cafeteria, she saw her being approached by Alec, Snow White's son. Alec seemed insistent, and Chloe tried to politely push him away.
"Alec, I'm sorry, but I'm not inters…" Chloe said as she tried to walk away.
But Alec never let Chloe finish a sentence. "Come on, Chloe, just give me a chance. I promise you won't regret it. I'm one of the best catches in the whole school."
Red felt a wave of jealousy wash over her. She discovered that she could be a very jealous girl, and the pain of seeing Alec insisting on Chloe hurt her deeply. She turned and ran away, unable to bear the sight.
Chloe saw Red running away and didn't even bother to apologize to Alec before going after him. She caught up with Red in their room, finding her clearly upset.
"Red, listen to me," Chloe began, trying to explain herself. "Alec didn't want to leave me. But you have to know that I love you."
But in the grip of emotion, Red lashed out at Chloe. "If you love me, why did you let him talk to you like that? You can go back to Alec and leave me alone."
Chloe, despite the harshness in Red's voice, remained firm. "No, Red. You have to believe me. Alec is just an idiot who thinks he's interesting, that's all. He thinks all the girls will fall at his feet just because he's a good catch, like he says. But he's wrong. Me... I want you. »
Red crossed her arms, still upset. "And why should I believe you?"
Chloe stepped closer to Red, her eyes filled with sincerity. "Because I love you, Red."
Red remained silent, her emotions conflicting. Chloe continued, her voice soft but determined. “I love you more than anything. Alec is nothing compared to you, and he can keep trying all he wants. He won’t get anything from me. You’re the one I chose.”
Chloe’s words touched Red to the core. She looked down, tears threatening to fall. “I’m sorry, Chloe. I was so afraid of losing you.”
Chloe smiled softly and took Red’s hand. “You’ll never lose me, Red. I’m afraid you’re stuck with me now. Forever.”
Red chuckled at the last part, “I think I could live with that.”
“Perfect. Because I’m not going anywhere.”
Red felt a wave of relief and happiness wash over her. She squeezed Chloe's hand, grateful for her love and patience. They kissed tenderly, sealing their promise to stay together despite the obstacles.
