Bea was outside, standing next to Ben and Audrey. She was tapping her pen on her notepad as she watched from the directions of where the limo driving the VKs (she learned that’s what they were called).
Today was the big day the kids from the Isle would be coming to Aurdon, and Bea was a mix of excited and anxious. Though, Bea tried to get the dream she had on her mind off from last night. She had saw a guy in her dream, handsome, with somewhat long brown hair, he seemed so dreamy to her, telling her something until she woke up. But she had to snap back to reality.
“Remind me, you said Maleficent, Queen of Hearts, The Evil Queen's daughters, and-?" Bea whispered to Ben.
"And Cruella de Vil and Jafar's sons." Ben continued.
"Right," Bea said, noting it down, gosh that was some group of kids.
It was like to whole of Auradon out front of the Prep school was waiting eagerly to welcome the children, and it was until the Auradon brand limousine had finally pulled up, the band in the back started playing their drums and trumpets and people started waving their welcome flags. Fairy Godmother had then walked up to the three, giving them a warm smile before the trumpeters had cleared the pathway for them to walk.
When the car got to the front, the first VKs that were to come out of the car when the door opened, or to be specific, fell out, were two boys fighting over some blue scarf. One boy, who had black hair that was curly white at the top was on the ground, pinned, trying to tug the scarf on his end. Ontop of him was a tan colored, long haired boy with a red beanie, who surprisingly looked like the boy from her dream.
Then one after the other, the girls stepped out of the car, one with bright blue hair, assumingly the Evil Queen's daughter by her looks twirled around in awe at the school and her surroundings.
One of the girls who was probably the Queen of Hearts child had spit out their gum as she observed the area.
Fairy Godmother walked ahead of them, smiling warmly at the five VKs, her eyes then landing on the boys fighting over the scarf.
“Guys—guys! We have an audience.” A violet-haired girl from the group quietly warned the boys while tussling.
"Just cleaning up." The long-haired boy said smoothly with a smirk, nudging the boy on the ground to get up, who grunted.
“Leave it like you found it! And by that I mean just leave it.” Fairy Godmother said in a sing-songy voice, nodding to the cloth the boys were fighting over. The dark-haired teen had tossed the scarf back into the car, and when he turned to look at the royals, his attitude changed.
”Well hello foxies, the name’s Jay.” He said in a flirtatious tone, looking between Audrey and Bea, giving her a wink.
While Audrey awkwardly laughed, Bea quietly gasped. This was him, the exact boy she saw in her mind, but how was he actually here?
“Welcome to Auradon Prep. I’m Fairy Godmother, Headmistress.” Fairy Godmother got infront of Jay, introducing herself.
“The Fairy Godmother? As in ‘Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo’?” The girl with violet hair had asked, slightly dubious as she made a wand motion with her hand.
“Bibbidi-bobbidi you know it.” Fairy Godmother smirked.
“Well it’s so good finally nice to meet you all, I’m Ben.” Ben stepped forward, introducing himself.
”Prince Benjamin, soon to be king.” Audrey chimed, beaming at Ben.
“You had me at prince,” The blue-locks girl had spoken, slowly treading while doing a small curtsy. “My mom’s a queen, which makes me a princess.”
Audrey had replied in a bitter tone, as if putting the girl in her place. The Evil Queen has no royal status here, and neither do you.”
Bea sighed. Did Audrey have to act so stingy? Sure, she was troubled by Ben bringing the VKs over in the first place, and even more upset when one of the kids were Maleficent’s daughter, but being standoffish couldn’t possibly help her.
“This is Audrey.” Ben continued.
”Princess Audrey, his girlfriend, right Bennyboo?” Audrey smugly smiled once again to Ben.
“And this is my sister Bea.” Ben smiled as he put a hand on Bea’s shoulder.
”Princess Beatric-“ Audrey was quickly cut off by Bea who was getting annoyed by Audrey correcting royal titles to everyone. “Bea’s just fine.” She smiled, side eyeing Audrey, who gave her a look. What Bea caught was Jay smirking when he heard her full name, liking the sound of it.
“These three are going to show you all around, and I’ll see you all tomorrow.” Fairy Godmother said as she headed off, waving the kids goodbye.
After she left, Ben had went on about being happy to meet the isle kids; who didn’t see too phased, making a little conversation with Mal, (whom she learned the name of the rest of them Mal, Harley, Evie, and Carlos.) which Audrey had by the looks of it got jealous, leading to her and Mal’s tension.
While taking them on a tour, they had ran into Dopey’s son, Doug, who was introduced to the others to help the new kids with their class schedules. Even Doug had caught himself in awe, admiring Evie, which Bea had found funny.
“Let me guess, new class? Come on guys, let’s go find our dorms.” Mal said, she and the others racing up the staircase.
“Oh uh, yeah, your dorms are that way, guys.” Doug informed as he and Bea pointed to the other staircase across, watching them move to the other steps, Bea had caught Jay’s eye while walking, sending her a charming smile before he left, which Bea had returned back, feeling her face getting hot again
“Well,” Doug awkwardly coughed. Bea quickly looked to him, snapping out of her daze.
“Something..going on between you two?” He playfully asked.
”No! Don’t be silly, we just met.” Bea tried to brush it off, but deep down she knew she definitely had some feelings for Jay.
“Sure, but what happened to believing in love at first sight?” Doug brought up, Bea remembering when she was younger highly thinking if she had even found her ‘prince’, it would be a moment of fate.
“And I still believe in that, of course.” She simply shrugged. By the way she pictured it, this random spark she caught on with the new kid, was gonna be something more then what she pictured, true love, supposedly.
