Prologue
Great clouds of grey billowed through the air, heading towards the United Kingdom. An eleven year old boy in a matching grey building peeked out, as the other children cried out in fear. Remus knew he would be safe here, in a place that had already caused him so much pain in return. The cloud grew closer until he realized it was fog. The fog continued to spread out over the sky and into the buildings, until he was enveloped in it, still gazing out the window. Once the fog cleared, and Remus tore his gaze from the window, the remaining children were sleeping on the floor. How strange, am I having another episode? Remus thought.
He began to call out for the matron who didn't particularly care about him, but at least knew how to deal with his episodes. Unfortunately the matron didn’t come and Remus was left by himself at the dull window. He jumped, startled, as a man older than he had ever seen before appeared directly in front of him.
The man was rather…..queer. His wrinkled skin was decorated with long patterned robes of purple and his blue eyes twinkled behind half moon spectacles. Remus suddenly felt rather normal in his brown slacks and beige vest, which was a rather drastic change from what he was used to. Most of the time he could hear the others whispering, insulting him for wearing the same clothes for the four years he's been here.
“Remus Lupin, a pleasure to meet you my boy” the man with half moon spectacles spoke cheerily, as if there was nothing better he could possibly be doing at that moment. “My name's Albus Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, headmaster at Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry, Supreme mugwump, order of merlin first class.”
After the slew of unfamiliar words, he proceeded to conjure a letter out of thin air. “Tap the seal 3 times to open, 4 times to close. McGonagall will pick you up tomorrow to shop in diagon.” Then, the man promptly disappeared and the children resumed playing
