Chapter 7
It was in the middle of the night, around 2 am Ari had woken up. She had looked around to see where she was at. She realized that she was in Cynthia's arms on the couch. She rose up trying not to wake her so she could go to the bathroom.
Ari POV:
I can’t believe I slept in Cynthia's arms, those toned arms holding me all the way. That has to be one of the best sleeps I have had. Now I gotta find the bathroom, I think it's this room. Yep it was. I used it and came back to the living room.
I tapped Cynthia softly. I tapped her a couple of times so she could wake up.
“Hmm?”
“Cyn, even though your couch is comfortable, I would like to sleep in a bed.”
“Okay babe, let’s go hmm?”
She got up and stretched, the only source of light was the moon, the white light shone on her figure. I can see the outline of her abs… Oh is that a sight to see. She grabbed my hand and led me to her bedroom.
It was big, but it wasn't too big. She had these wonderful sculptures all around. It fitted her aesthetic very well. She opened up in the covers, and layed down.
“Big spoon or little spoon sweetheart?”
I blushed a little bit
“Uh little please.”
I saw that she scooted back to make some space for me and opened her arms. I went right into them. We shifted together until we were comfortable.
“Goodnight sweetheart, get some sleep okay?”
Her breath whispered against my ear.
“Okay I will cyn.”
I started to close my eyes. As I do , I feel her pull me closer to her. Best feeling ever.
Cyn POV:
It was a couple of hours later, I felt someone on my chest and their arm across my chest. I look down to see Ari. Aww sweet girl, I didn’t want to leave her. She looked so cute clinging on to me, I took a pic of us and then kissed her head. I had to get up to get ready for the day, even though I didn't want to. Just wanted to stay with her and cuddle her more. I left some clothes for her and a note telling her that I'll be in the gym.
I headed down stairs to get my workout in. Today was arms and chest with some cardio. I decided to work on my biceps with the dumbbells. 3 sets of 10 until failure, and it was with 20 pound dumbbells.
It was very intense , but I liked it like that. I kept going until I failed. I took a good 2 minute break before heading to my triceps.
Ari POV:
I woke up to an empty bed. I looked all around me to see that Cynthia's side was all made up with clothes set on top. I looked over to see what it was. There was a little note.
Hi love, I know that you’re probably awake right now. I left you some clothes of mine so you can shower and change in. Make yourself comfortable and I’m in my gym downstairs in the basement. You know if you want to come and see me. Love you xx

I rushed out of that bed and went into her bathroom to take a shower. Her bathroom was so gorgeous and it even had hints of green in there as well. I use her cocoa butter body wash & body scrub. I got out of the shower and dried myself off. I saw that there was a toothbrush set out for me. I took it and brushed my teeth. I made sure my hair looked nice, and washed my face.
I left the room to get a quick bite of fruit that she had then headed down stairs. Of course she had a spiral staircase that just screams cynthia. Hell, even the basement is huge. I heard clanking noises so I went to go see what it was about.
It was her, in her sweaty glory. Lifting weights, those arms omg.. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE TATS TOO.Y'all i’m boutta die omg.. Is there anything this woman doesn’t look good doing? The way her abs are fluctuating in & out as she breathes. The way her biceps have that vein that's popping out.
This woman looks so damn good. Is she my gay awakening? Oh well, if she is then I'm glad it's her.
Cyn POV:
I was just doing bench presses until I heard footsteps coming in. I knew exactly who it was, I did something extra grunting to get her gears going. I know she likes this type of stuff, so why not tease her. I finished my last set before I sat up and wiped my face. I looked at Ari, she was totally out of it.
I walked up to her and brought her to the gym.
“Helllooooo ari, sweetheart you in there?”
I see her blinking a couple of times.
“Yea i am here, i’m here.”
“Liked what you saw huh?”
“Maybe… I mean you are pretty- uhm- straight-forward about this stuff- i-.”
“Ari sweetheart, calm down. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen people with abs and biceps bef-”
“But they aren't you.”
“Oh is that the case?”
“Yes it is.”
“Want me to try and lift you?”
“If you want yea, sure.”
I dropped low to grab her by her legs and put her on my shoulder.
“EEE ! Cyn, I'm scared !”
“Don't be, love. I got you, I promise. I don’t do all this working out for nothing now.”
“Yea you’re right cyn, ooo we should take a picture. Is that okay?”
“Of course sweetheart, here's my phone.”
She took my phone and took a picture.
“Aww we look so cute.”
“You’re right we do.”
I put ari back down, and headed to the treadmill.
“I still have cardio to do, so you can stay and like to watch. Or you can go play with Gigi and caleb.”
“I’ll bring them down here and I'll play with them, is that okay?”
“Yea sure.”
“Okay i’ll be right back.”
I saw her do her cute little run out the gym. I got on the treadmill and started my cardio. It was about 5 minutes later where Ari brought the fur babies and played with them.
I tried to focus on my running but Ari is just so cute. I had increased the intensity on the treadmill so I can push myself even more. I started to pant and Ari looked at me.
“You good over there darling?”
“Yea i am, just wanted to make sure that you’re good. That’s all.”
“Okay sweetheart, i’m almost done okay? Then we can go out and get brunch, how does that sound?”
“That sounds wonderful, cyn.”
“Okay, sounds like a plan darling.”
I decided to go all out for my last 30 minutes of cardio, so me and ari can go out for our brunch. I can see that she’s looking at me every so often. This girl can not keep her eyes off of me. I don't mind, I kinda like the attention.
I finally finished my 30 mins of cardio and I got off the treadmill. Ari had gone back upstairs to take a call. I picked up the dogs and took them back upstairs. I saw Ari on the couch playing games on her ipad.
I guess she heard me and looked at me, she had this look in her eyes. Like a look of shock and lust kinda.
Ari POV:
Cynthia had finally come upstairs from her workout, and she was holding the dogs beside her, and her biceps were popping out. When I tell you this woman can get even more perfect. It amazes me. Her abs are also showing. I love how she takes care of herself as a person. That she can get into her feminine self as well. I sound so gay.. Don’t i? OH WELL.
“Ari babes, you okay?”
“Yea, I’m okay cyn. Just appreciating the sight in front of me.”
“Oh is that so? Well I appreciate it. It’s nice to know that someone appreciates this hard work.”
“I mean of course cyn. Well I know that you’re gonna take a shower so you can get ready for our brunch. Can I borrow some clothes? I’ll wear the same shoes.”
“Yes of course, love. Go ahead and go in the closet and choose what you want to wear. I should have some comfortable stuff in there.”
“Okayyy”
I got up and went to her closet while she followed behind me and then separated from me to go to the bathroom. Even her closet is huge. I just grabbed some nice jeans, a crop top, and a cute little jacket. As I walked out, I saw tha the bathroom door was cracked open. I went inside to let her know that I found some clothes.
Cyn POV:
I went to go shower while Ari got a chance to get some clothes. I hear her coming in and telling me something. My back was facing her so I couldn't see her face.
“Hey cyn, I found a change of clothes so I'm gonna get changed in the guest room!”
I had peaked my head out from the shower door.
“Okay babes, i’ll see you soon.”
“Okay cyn.”
I heard the door closed and I finished my shower.
Ari POV:
All I could see was her back, and it just amazes me everytime. I didn’t stay long cause I knew I had to get dressed. I went to the guess room and got ready. I looked in the mirror and I looked real good. I got my little bag from the living room and put on a little bit of makeup. I headed back into the living room and waited for cyn.
Cyn POV:
I got out of the shower and got ready. I put on this cute little outfit, and my nice hat. You know I had to accessorize. I have different rings on, a lot of earrings on. Keep it to a minimum though. I head to the living room where I find ari.
“Hey you ready dear?”
“Yea I am, i have something for you when we get there. I forgot to give it to you last because you know.”
“Okay sweetheart, can’t wait to see it.”
“Yeah me neither.”
I grabbed her hand and headed to the house, and locked the door. I went to her side of my car to open up the door for her.
“Aw such a gentle woman.”
“Of course, now you get strapped up okay?”
“Will do Ms.Erivo.”
I head over to my side and get the car started. I know exactly where to take her. She’s gonna love it.
