Chapter 4
Nobody POV:
It was already Thursday and it felt like forever to both of the girls. They just couldn’t wait for Saturday to arrive. The girls thought it would be a good idea to send each other flowers, to show gratitude. Ari decided to send hellebores and poppies. Cynthia decided to send roses and lilies. The girls have been counting down the days where they can meet, both sharing the mutual feeling of excitement.
Cyn POV:
Today was Thursday, just one more day till I can hangout with ari. Just the thought of what I would be doing put a smile on my face. I’m in the kitchen making my usual breakfast and I heard a knock at the door.
*Who could that be?*
I walked to my door and opened it to see who it was. It was a delivery man holding a huge bouquet of flowers.
“Are you Ms. Erivo?”
“Yes I am, and who are you?”
“I’m here to deliver you these. These are for you?”
“Did they say who it came from?”
“I’m not sure ma’am, I can't read the cards because of privacy.”
“Ah I see, thank you sir.”
“You’re welcome, have a good day.”
“You too.”
I closed my door and took these wonderful flowers to my island in the kitchen.
*Are these Hellebores and poppies? How did this person know I like these?*
I opened the little card and it turned out it was from Ari. Aw she sent me flowers, the note said:
“Dear Cynthia,
Honored doesn't even begin to cover it. I cannot wait to hug you. See you in Oz.
All my love, Ari."
She is so cute. Aw these must’ve been delayed. I was supposed to get the day of the announcement. Ah it doesn't matter, I gotta send her a picture.

C: Look at what showed on my doorstep.

A: Awww your flowers finally came. I’m sorry there were some issues with delivery.
C: No worries, I absolutely love them. How did you know I liked hellebores and poppies?
A: Well you can say that was a lucky guess. I’m glad that you like them.
C: Yea, did you get yours yet? I want to see what you think about them.
A: No I haven't yet , I'll probably get them later on today.
C; Ahh okay, well let me know when you do. How's the fur babies doing?
A: They are doing well. Love making noise makes me lose sleep.
C: Yes I can totally relate babe.
A: Planning on working out again today?
C: Maybe… maybe not. You wanna see another back pic? IS that it ms.ari?
A: What!?! No…. ofc course not…
C: I’m just teasing you, love.
A: yea yea, I don’t know i’m just so bored. I just can't wait for saturday. It is killing me.
C: Yea i know, the days always go slower when you have something fun coming up.
A: LITERALLY! I hate it so much.
C: It’s okay love, just one more day and then we can hangout. Trust the feeling is mutual. I want to see that pretty face.
Ari POV:
She wants to see my pretty face… AHHHHHH. I genuinely don't think I will have the willpower to be able to hangout with this woman face to face. Oh lord, give me the strength. As I was just about to text her back, I heard a knock on my front door.
*Oh those may be the flowers from cynthia*
I went to my front door and opened it. It was the delivery man.
“Hi, are you ms.grande?”
“Yes I am. I’m guessing these wonderful flowers are for me?”
“Yes ma'am they are.”
“Well good then, thank you kind sir.”
“You’re welcome, ms.grande. Have a good day.”
“You too now.”
I close my door, and instantly read the little card inside
"Pink goes good with green. Congratulations Miss A, the part was made for you, I look forward to sharing this musical journey with you.
Cynthia E.”

C: YAY! You finally got them. DO you like which ones I picked out for you?
A: Yes I do, they are so amazing. The way that the different types of pink all pop out at once. You did amazing cyn.
C: Thank you ari, i’m glad you like them. Are you ready for filming soon?
A: Yes I am, I can't wait for what Jon has in store for us. Do you think he’ll meet with us two before everyone else?
C: I mean it could be possible we are the ones who are going to be on the poster.
A: Yes you’re right. He'll probably go over what we will be doing and like the costumes. OMG do you think he’ll use the wand in the movie?
C: Ari… love, the wand is like the most important prop in this movie. Of course he will use it.
A: Yea, and like your iconic broom. I'll probably try to take the broom home after shooting.
C: That definitely sounds like you ari hun, I mean I wouldn't be opposed to it.
A: SEE ! I knew it… I’ll be watching you miss ma'am.
C: Oh is that right? I bet you will, seeing that you couldn’t keep your eyes off of me in the meeting. Didn’t think I noticed huh?
Damn.. she caught me. I was looking at her lowkey… I mean can you blame me?
A: I mean can you blame me. You are THE Cynthia Erivo. I would be stupid enough not to enjoy what’s in front of me.
C: Has anyone ever told you, you were a flirt babe? You are giving those vibes right now
A: Maybe, or I’m just good with my words. Real good…
Cynthia POV:
Ah I see she’s trying to… what do those Americans say… ah! Butter me up.

A: Okay alright can’t wait. Do you know what we are gonna do on saturday?
C: PRobably watch some movies, play games, just get to know each other better. So we can be there for each on set and cater to each other's needs.
A: That sounds wonderful. I’m going to let you know right now that I am a sensitive person.
C: It’s okay ari, it’s nothing to be ashamed about. I am a sensitive person too. I just show it in a different way.
A: Thank you for saying that. Makes me feel a little less insecure about it.
C: Of course hon, we are in this together.
A: Just when certain topics are talked about I tend to get a headspace.
C: Yea no I agree. Trying to space out so you don’t end up crying?
A: You must be a mind reader, cause how did you know exactly?
C: I know because I do it too, just some topics are just not for me at certain moments.
A: See you get me, cause that’s how it is most of the time.
C: Exactly, well I won't overstep if you’re uncomfortable. I just want you to be safe with me and feel like you can be yourself around me.
A: I think I already do cyn, you haven't made me feel comfortable not once. We haven't met in person yet.
C: Well I’m glad babe, i want to keep it like that. I want you to feel like you can rely on me for anything love.
A: Oh cyn, you’re gonna make me cry…
C: Oh boo, don't cry. I just wanted it to be known.

C: I love you too, ari. I want you to take care of yourself, and let me help okay?
A: Of course, it’s just hard you know?
C: Yea i know hon, and that’s okay. Some people's process takes longer than others.
A: Yea exactly. Thank you so much cyn, you’ve made my day better.

I love this girl so much. I just want to protect her from all harm. She doesn't deserve all the hate.
