Questions.
Well it was in fact a long day. A lot of explaining happened. Lot of stuff she didn’t expect also happened. It was a doozy.
After everyone got over the initial shock of her saying that is when the mess started. Obviously a few of the guys were suspicious of it(Legends, Warriors, and Hyrule), but there were a lot that were kind of happy or excited for some reason? (Sky and Wind) Everyone else in the group didn’t seem to care. Just nodded.
Then the questions began. A whole lot of basically asking how it worked. How the talking worked. How it figured it out. How Hylia talked to her. And anything else really. The whole thing was very very overwhelming, and eventually since the guys wouldn’t stop asking questions and left no room for her to answer anything Wolfie just barked at them. Which shut them up for a moment.
She just patted his head, and asked for questions one at a time. Though it seemed everyone’s attention was on both it and Wolfie this time. Which was to be accepted.
It just smiled and answered the questions one at a time now. The first question was how did she talk to Hylia? Well that was easy enough to answer. Through the statues littered across Hyrule. Then the next question was how did she figure this out? Well the answer to that was: when it started its first quest, she had prayed at the goddess’s statue for some guidance. And Hylia just spoke back.
She left out the part about how the first quest started. How it had no idea who Hylia even was at the time, and how it thought it was normal.
Then the next question was how did Hylia communicate to her through the statues? Which was a bit harder to word. The answer she ended up giving them was: She did speak to it, like actually talk, but she spoke to it through riddles. That gave her some confused glances, but the group moved on.
It was some more random, not truly important questions asked after that and some simple answers. Like was Hylia nice when the two of them spoke? And yeah she was nice enough. Wasn’t like Hylia was rude or anything, but it was just business when she spoke with the Goddess. So Hylia was nice, but not in the friends kind of way.
Then the questions finally got to Wolfie. The first one to be thrown out was by one of the two boys. He had on a similar shirt to its champion tunic. He asked who the wolf next to it was. She crouched down and pet his head, stating that his name was Wolfie or Dusk and that he was her mentor.
It chucked at the confused responses it got in return to the statement. When asked what she meant by that, she simply said. “He's a spirit. That’s kind of my whole thing is I’m the sage of Spirits, and I’ve dealt with them a lot.” Was the reply they got. She flicked the sage tear when it said its sage title. Wasn’t something she planned on hiding. Plus Wolfie wasn’t always in wolf form, so best to inform them that he’s simply a spirit.
Not like that could see him anyhows. They can’t exactly see spirits, well she had no idea if one of them was a median or not. They all looked at her in confusion. Was that a bigger shock than the Hylia thing? It had no idea.

It was sitting away from the group. Everything was so exhausting. People were exhausting. Wolfie laid his head on her lap and she just sighed. Today was eventful. It was eventful. It was.
One of the guys was staring at it. One of the older ones, he had this fancy blue scarf on. He seemed so. Happy. Not in a bad way. He just seemed more like he was about something it couldn’t place.
She guessed she zoned out for a moment because next thing it knew, he was sitting next to it. He was smiling at her, and before she even got to open her mouth he was talking.
“Hi! I’m the Hero of the Skyward sword! I’m the chosen one! Like as in the First hero! Well not the first first, there was a guy before me, but not my point! The others call me Sky! Oh wait you already know that don’t you. Whoops.”
He rambled little bit, before sticking his hand out in front of it. It blinked a bit before nervously shaking it. She wasn’t sure what to do. Though he quickly took his hand away and just went back to rambling.
“Okay so I know we already asked you questions about being Hylia’s messenger, but do you mind if we, as in me and you, talk more about i5?”
Well she didn’t see why not, so it nodded.

There were a lot more questions about it all, and eventually it got to explain that she just always had the ability to see ghosts (that allowed her to see them) as long as it could remember. It also found out one of them was in fact a median, it was the kid who had the champion tunic knock off (she knew it wasn’t, but that was easier to say). Which obviously came from when she explained the fact that the guys could only see Wolfie in his Wolfie form, and they wouldn’t be able to see him in his ghost form unless they were a median. Which apparently the kid was, and that was pretty cool. Did everyone probably suspect him of being what looked like the future version of one of the hero’s? Probably, and she didn’t care.
They all eventually got around to sharing the nicknames they had for each other. Everyone went as followed: Time, the old man(he actually didn’t mind being called that weirdly enough), Sky, had a cool blue scarf/sail thing, Warriors, the guy was a knight and had a blue scarf, Legend, despite being a teen was the veteran (had gone on the most quests, and spent the most time as a hero apparently) and had some pink hair, Wind, the kid with the blue tunic (champion tunic knockoff core), Four, not actually a child and the guy with a multi colored tunic, Twilight, definitely past Wolfie and wore a wolf pelt of what was probably his wolf form(it was a lot less green), and Hyrule, Legend’s successor and was definitely a hybrid (it could smell it, and it was definitely a great fairy Hybrid if anything).
Which then meant it was time for “the naming convention” as Wind called it. Apparently it was gonna be given a nickname based on her title. Which then she asked which one, because it had a lot and no idea which one. That got a blink out of them.
Yeah it had to explain it had been on two quests and had a lot of titles because well. She just did a lot. Then the guys explain that they had a “hero” title given by the master sword to differentiate between all the heros, and which one of her titles was that one.
It didn’t know. It had no idea. The master sword didn’t really like her that much. The sword apparently talked, though differently to all of its users, because it was a sword spirit. She then had to break it to them that from day one, the thing never spoke to it.
Though Zelda called them the hero of the wilderness because it was basically raised in the wild.
Which the group decided not to push, despite obvious curiosity and some almost doing it (legend and wind got on the head when attempting to question further), and just decided that the name Wild would work.
Though it was clear some people were curious on why the master sword never talked to her.

It was a really lovely conversation that she and Sky had. Turns out his girlfriend, Sun aka his Zelda, was the reincarnation of Hylia so he got excited to meet someone who had direct contact with Hylia. Sun wasn’t Hylia obviously, but she was a reincarnation of the Goddess. Which was interesting.
Sky and It also talked about the master sword, and how they had never heard the sword's voice before. Apparently Sky had also made the sword, and was curious on what it was like for Wild.
It wasn’t a bad conversation actually. It was interesting. It opened some doors for both of them, and Sky seem to understand why Fi (the master sword) never spoke to her. She was still a bit confused, but mainly understood.
It fell asleep that night laying in a tree with Wolfie underneath it. The guys didn’t seem bothered at all by her wanting to sleep in the tree at all, and just let her.

Someone was watching. Weren’t they?
