Emu got on Yuki’s back as she swam forward, she couldn't help but admire her shiny wet hair, she noticed a snowflake shaped hair tie in her long ponytail.
“Your hair is very pretty! I like your hair tie” a light tint stained her cheeks.
Amused by her boldness once again she muttered “thank you human”
“your welcome– Hey!! I told you my name isn't human!! it's Emu!!” a pout formed into her cheeks.
“like the bird?” she questioned
“what–” she chuckled “well i guess like the bird haha” she paused “how do you know about the bird?”

After a while they finally arrive at some rocks in a familiar beach.
“omg yay!! thank you for bringing me back!!” Emu said very grateful
“You're welcome, human,” Yuki paused. “I guess this is a goodbye…” her eyes filled with sorrow, lost a little of shine.
Yuki took Emu’s hand and placed something on it “here have this… as a farewell gift”
Emu’s eyes lightened at her gesture “Aww ty!! it's very pretty!” without a second thought Emu leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek.
Yuki's eyes widened slightly as her cheeks had a red tint on them “...”
“?! ahhh I'm so sorry!!” Emu was super embarrassed at this, she couldn't believe what she just did.
The purple haired girl chuckled, “You're very bold for a human…” As emu turned around to run away from the scene Yuki held her hand.
a soft blush on her face “My name…” she paused “...its Mafuyu”
Emu’s eyes lightened at this, she held both of her hands and said “It's nice to meet you Mafuyu!!”
After this Emu tied the hair in a little ponytail on her head with the hair tie Mafuyu gifted her. “I promise that I'll never forget you!! I come to visit you, I swear!!”
