The twins' plan
Pandora loves being dramatic, but only when it’s with their friends. Pandora and Evan had an idea, a dangerous one, but an idea. Them and Evan had pulled Regulus into his room to tell him the idea. Evan sat Regulus down on the bed and patted his head, why? Because this group of friends are weird, that’s why. “Listen, I’m too tired for you guys' dramatics, what is it you two needed to tell me?” Regulus sounded very tired, Pandora knows he hasn’t really been able to sleep so they are going to try and talk quickly.
“We have someone we think should join the war” Evan said quickly.
“Or well, we would like for them to join our side of war, so they are safe” Pandora explained. They really hope he can join the war.
“Well spit it out” Regulus said and stood up.
“You know how we have a little brother?” Evan said and scratched the back of their neck.
Regulus’s eyebrows shot up then came back down. “Felix is eleven” He said in a voice that almost sounded concerned.
“Which is why I said we want him to join so he is protected. We know that Felix is young, but he is a good wizard. He joined Hogwarts this year and he sometimes helped me make potions. We once told him about dragons, and he was fascinated. If we can teach him then he would be an amazing addition to this side of war, we don’t want him to fight, we just want him to be safe” Pandora explained. They really didn’t want their baby brother to fight, of course not, but they did want him to be safe.
“Pan, I really don’t think he would be safe” Regulus said, obviously thinking that Pandora and Evan are absolutely insane for suggesting this.
“If he didn’t join this side, he would be forced to join the death eaters' side when he’s of age” Pandora said, their voice firm. They knew they could be scary when they wanted to be, and they took advantage of this every chance they got. They weren't a Ravenclaw for nothing.
“The war could be over by the time he’s of age” Regulus crossed his arms.
“Regulus, listen. That house is neglectful, if the war does end by the time Felix is of age he would starve for days on end. Me and Pandora aren’t there to make sure he is eating there because of you, so he’s joining this side of war whether you like it or not. He will not be fighting but he will be safe” Evan said and walked out of Regulus’s room, slamming the door behind them.
Regulus looks at the door for the moment and then sits back down on the bed, he looks down and sighs. “We can retrieve him from the house” He says and Pandora smiles. He looks back up. “It’s your mission, yours and Evans. You two can pick a third person to come if you want as long as it’s not me”
Pandora smiles. “Thank you, Regulus,” Pandora walks over to Regulus and kisses his temples. It’s something that Pandora always did to Evan when they were younger, but then they came to Hogwarts and Pandora started doing it to their friends. It’s a sign of affection and respect.
Regulus nods and kisses their temple. “It’s nothing Panda, I know if I had asked you the same thing you would have agreed”
Pandora knows Regulus would never ask that question, at least not now, maybe when he was younger, before Sirius had run away, but after he had run away? Regulus would never ask that question. Pandora and Regulus said goodbye to each other and Pandora went upstairs to Barty’s room while looking for Evan. They know Evan will be with Barty, he always is. They walk in and Evan is sitting on Barty's bed while Barty talks about flowers, why? Pandora has no idea. They walk over and grab Evans arm. “C’mon we have to talk” they say and pull Evan out of Barty’s room, downstairs and then into Narcissa’s room.
“I’m not talking about what I said to Regulus. Why are we here?” Evan said and yanked their arm out of Pandora’s grip.
“What did you say to Regulus?” Narcissa said, looking at the twins from where she was sitting on her bed.
“Absolutely nothing” Evan said, clasping their hands behind their back.
“Just shush, we have something to talk about and we are in here because we need to talk to Narcissa” Pandora explains. They don’t doubt Narcissa will agree to helping them retrieve their baby brother because Narcissa has a fondness for Evan and Pandora, but you can never be too safe.
Narcissa stood up out of her bed and walked over to the twins. “Talk away”
“Okay so, Ev, Regulus agreed to Felix joining. But it is our mission, but he said we can ask another person” Pandora turned to Narcissa. “Narcissa. Felix is mine and Evans' little brother, he is joining Hogwarts this year, but we want him to be safe in this war. We asked Reg if we could basically kidnap him from our neglectful, horrible house and he agreed, but we could use some more help, and I know you are a powerful witch. Our house has many wards and protective spells, and it will be dangerous because for some reason we have people that literally guard our house”
Narcissa nods. “I can help. When are we doing this?”
Pandora shrugs. “I want to do it as soon as possible”
“Deal then. I’ll help you guys” Narcissa said. “But get out” She smiles and Evan and Pandora leave.
When Narcissa closes her door Evan immediately hugs Pandora, burying their face into the crook of Pandora's neck. Pandora immediately hugs back, burying their face in Evans' hair. “As much as I love you Ev, why the sudden hug?”
Evan laughed and they both pulled out of the hug. “Thank you for convincing Regulus”
“It comes with being nice to him, more people should try it” Pandora has always hated the way people treat Regulus, he deserves better, especially after all the shit he’s been through.
Evan raises his hands in the air. “I acted on emotion”
Pandora sighs and says teasingly. “When are you not?”
Pandora laughed as Evan flicked her head. “I rarely act on my emotions”
Pandora nods. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s just try to focus on our mission, okay? Let’s figure out when we are going to do it”
Evan nods and sighs. “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea”
Pandora and Evan go back to Pandora's room and plan. They both think they will be able to do this in a couple days, all they need to do is make sure that Pandora trained more on defensive spells, and they would be able to do this mission with minor or no wounds. Pandora hopes they will be able to save their little brother from that awful excuse of a household, though they are glad they aren’t a part of the Black family, or they would have saved Felix a long time ago.
